I was looking for a local pediatrician for school and I stumbled upon this place. The interior of the clinic is very new and clean. The doctor is very educated and shows great interest for any concerns that I have. This clinic does many treatments: physical exams for school, shots, blood testing, and health assessment. They made my schedule for my appointment quick, and they answered all my questions politely. My first appointment was beyond all my expectations. Overall,all staffs at the office work with carefulness, knowledge, and profession highly. Dr . Hoang gave me and my child a good care experience. He actually took his time with my son. This review is long overdue. I brought my son here because we moved from NY and we were looking for a new doctor. Dr. Hoang was nice enough the first visit and willing to follow my delayed schedule and administered some vaccines personally as I had an issue with another doctor's office having medical assistants in charge of this. Anyway, one of the vaccines administered was for the Rotavirus. My son became ill a couple of days later and when I brought him back to see the doctor he was sick as well. I told him he should be wearing gloves and a face mask to examine children as he was coughing and seemed really sick. He blamed the purell iritates and triggers his coughing so i suggested hand washing. I was disturbed that a doctor would come in to work to examine children and wouldnt take the necessary precautions to protect others from getting sick. It's common sense! Especially since there was a newborn baby waiting to be seen. When i asked the doctor if the shot couldve made my son sick he said no and joked that maybe we got him sick. Yeah not funny. When i did my own research immunize.org states for the rotavirus vaccine :"Vaccination should not be initiated for infants age 15 weeks 0 days or older because there are insufficient data on the safety of dose #1 in older infants."My son was 7 months at the time the first dose was administered and the doctor should've known better.Hopefully, there isn't any long term damaging effects. I also noticed that his staff had screwed up one of the patients waiting to be seen last name and it was a debacle in trying to straighten that out. Also, when I was checking out and tried to use my flexible spending card the payment wouldnt process and when i called them to find out why they said the doctors office was using an inapppropiate billing code. After this experience I decided to never go back. I would not recommend this doctor. read more

This is my fourth visit to this office. Dr Hoang is a very nice doctor. He doesn't usually wear white coat, I think he's trying not to scare off the children with his white coat and it's easier to bond with the children without it. Last time my daughter has an urgent medical issue and it's 5:30pm, I know they close at 6pm but I still call and ask if I can bring my daughter over. They were very accommodating and ask me to go there right away. Not only that, after seeing Dr Hoang, she was prescribed a medication to be picked up at a nearby pharmacy. When we got to the pharmacy, we were told they have not received the order from Dr Hoang. It was 6:20pm, 20 minutes after the office has closed. I still called and hope that someone would pick up the phone. And it did! Dr Hoang answered the phone himself! I explained the situation and he called the pharmacy right away to straighten out the issue. I have never met a doctor that still pick up the phone after the office closed. At the same pharmacy, a lady came before me wasn't that lucky, she has the same issue, the pharmacy didn't received doctor's prescription and she was calling and calling but no one answered because her doctor's office has closed. Another good thing about this office is the staff. The front desk staffs and the nurses are all very nice and patient. The moment you step into the office you are welcomed by the spacious design of the office. If you are looking for a kind, responsible and knowledgeable doctor, as well as patient staffs, I highly recommend coming to see Dr Hoang! read more

Dr. Hoang is a very perfessional and nice pediatrician. I bring my daughter to his office. He and his assistant check my daughter very carefully. They ask me many questions and also explain many things to me how to take care of a new born baby. The office is very clean and organized. The staffs who working front desk are very nice. Took my daughter to Dr. Hoang right after coming out of NICU several months ago. Their staff is extremely friendly and professional. They speak mandarin, English and Vietnamese. my bay have been visit dr. viet Hoang since he was born. now he is 20 months. his staff and himself were super nice. but nice is not enough to quality to be a doctor. I don't think he had the experience to be a doctor.if your baby go for regular check up it ok. if your baby is sick. don't take your kid there.he have no idea what he's doing. I told him my kid cough a lot having high fever for 5 day medicine not helping, also having difficulty breading. and he didn't eat and drink more than 2 days. he so weak cry almost with no voice, can't stand or sit up. I took my kid in at 2pm out at 3pm. he told me to go home come back tomorrow if he feel better. lucky I didn't listen to him otherwise my kid won't make it. at 6pm my kid having trouble breathing and cough none stop. I told him to san gabriel hospital er only 5 minutes away. the er doctor ask why you took him in so late. I to the doctor I just get out from the clinic. they ask which stupid doctor look at your kid. the er take care my baby right away. we have to transfer to Huntington hospital at 3pm because they have no treatment for this kind of rivus. lucky I take him in early the lung not infect with rivus. thanks san gabriel er and Huntington hospital for saving my kid. read more
