I typically do my brows myself, but with a big trip and two weeks of wanting to spend zero extra time on my makeup, I decided to leave nothing to chance and opted to have them tended professionally. I paid the extra fee to have the owner, Destiny, do my brows herself. No messing around. I walked in and she was ready. The space was clean, and I dropped into some casual conversation with her and her coworker with ease. They were both free when I walked in, but both chairs filled within a few minutes. I explained where I was going/my needs, and she did her thing. My brows are a little uneven as far as thickness, so for the first couple of days I added a little fill to the one, but after a couple of days they evened out and still looked great. The shape was perfect, they were the right shade, and gave me the POP I wanted. I went in the ocean multiple times, salty hot springs, hiking in the Mexican sun, endured a myriad of pillowcases in hotels, plus had my sleep mask and several different hats on, and we're still looking pretty good now that I'm home from my adventures. I would definitely consider microshading there in the future. Destiny's vibe might not be right for everyone, but the Browtique was it for me.

She asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for, gave me options to choose from, and even priced me out before getting things started. That was really appreciated by the way. She sold me on a membership type deal where they collect $50 on a monthly basis and add it to a "bank" that I can use for services in the future. It pretty much adds up over time until your next visit and then it doesn't feel like as much of an expense when the time comes. I've done this at nail salons and can confirm it's a nice thing to have. For this trip I went with some wrinkle relaxers, aka botox. It had been a hot minute since the last time I got it and it was a breeze. Pain free to the point where I hardly felt it. My results came in within a week or so and they're great. I definitely plan on continuing so I can maintain some youthful skin as I age. I have no doubt that I'll give their other services a go in the future. They were also able to accomodate me within a week so I can have my engagement henna done before flying out for it.
