I called and left her a message about what I needed and what kind of hair I had and she called back within the hour. My mom got married the day after Thanksgiving, and we were worried about finding a hair and makeup stylist who would be available that day. Luckily, we found Marina and she gave us the most perfect, relaxing day. Everyone in the bridal party wanted a different look (glam, 1920s, classic, etc.) and the bride wanted to go very natural. Marina was so accommodating to what everyone was looking for and made us all feel beautiful. She spent the entire day with us and helped us plan out the schedule so that everything went exactly as planned and on time. Marguerite did an awesome job listening to what I wanted, looking at a photo of a previous cut, and carefully trimming my hair to the desired length. I ended getting about 5 inches cut off and instead of cutting it all off at once, she cut it once and then asked me if it was the right length or if I wanted it shorter. Which is my favorite thing that hair stylists do, rather than cutting it all off and asking if it is too short. Not happy with how my highlights came out. I just wanted basic highlights on my dark blonde hair,…read morebeen getting them for many years, 2-3x a year. I had booked an appointment for a full foil. I was early and the stylist was late. She told me I didn't need a full foil, so we did a partial foil instead. Unfortunately it didn't come out well. First, the whole foiled section is much lighter than the back/bottom portion of my hair (so really I did need a full foil and should've pushed back on that?). I have never had such a stark contrast between the foiled and unfoiled portions... it looks pretty bad when my hair is up, and as a mom, that is basically all the time. Second, some of the highlights themselves are uneven, being super bright (almost white) closest to my roots in a few spots. Never had this happen before, either. I tried to schedule a correction, but they said I would have to pay to get the bottom foiled as that wouldn't count as a correction. Fair enough per the technical definition... but my hair just doesn't look good overall and that would be the only clear fix from my perspective, since you can't darken bleached hair. Oh well. That was a huge expense. I definitely will not return. Haircut was fine! Though they did also blow it out some after I specifically said I didn't want it (for my schedule and for sensory reasons).

She captured exactly what I wanted and surprised me with her creativity in hair styling too. She took a great number of pics to share with me and asked me to think about the makeup style, types of eyelashes, etc. She could adjust anything to my taste as she is very versatile and professional in different kinds of makeup/hair styles. In the end, I decided to go with a more glamourous look with a bit more focus on. Before the wedding, Yin coordinated with me and my planner on the game plan to streamline everything and they arrived right on time to set up the makeup station and the hair station for both to go smoothly. I was really happy with my bridal look/hair (glamorous but still me) and it made me feel like a princess for my big day. The makeup stayed fresh and beautiful throughout the day and she gave me a little bit of lip color for touch-up in case it wore off. My bridesmaids and the two moms had a wonderful time with her and her team too to get pampered and dolled up! Thank you for making my wedding day so special.
