I love love love getting my lashes done here. It's fast, affordable, and I'm always happy with the end result. Everyone compliments me on my lashes and asks where I got them done. I love feeling like I don't have to wear make up and don't have to mess with false eyelashes. Only downside is I think I am allergic to the glue, as my eyes would be swollen a day or two after. Im sorry but this is literally the worst application ever . The outcome was pretty but the glue was thick and so close to my eye and so were the lashes that I could just feel the glue or lashes I can't tell, poke my eyes every time I blinked. I woke up in the morning and the bottom of my eye was so irritated from my eyes being closed and poking the bottom of my eye from being closed for so long . Just be careful who you book your appointment with Im sure there is some great workers there because I have heard good things about some of them. But the one who did my lashes did not do them right. I contacted them and went in and she just took some lashes out but it didn't really do much besides relive some of the pain But it still hurt. told me to wait a little so I could see if they were still bothering me, so I waited . She took a client in while I waited to see how they felt and then started on another client after that one instead of asking how they felt again and made me wait more so I just left since I was waiting for more than an hour at that point. Top notch customer service! I'm so impressed. Got so many compliments today. I finally took the plunge and joined the lash extension crowd. What have I been waiting for? A reasonably priced option! I found it! I called several 5 star yelp locations between Davis and Fairfield and not only were they competitively priced but they could actually get me in. I was booked out one week from when I called. I was also sent a text reminder with a photo of their shop the night before so I would know exactly where to go as a new customer. I was sent home with directions to keep them dry, brush them daily and clean them with oil free eye makeup remover. I totally faltered and out of habit washed my face last night. It was enough to make quite a few fall off this morning. I sent a text asking what I should do and was told to come in to get it fixed. I live 30min away so I text her when I was on my way, she got me right in, fixed up and back on my way. Their customer service is amazing. I felt so special. I got the doll eye full set and it looked so terrible that I came back two days later to get them removed. While I was there I saw another girl in the waiting room with the same set, but hers looked far better than mine! To throw salt on the wound, she thought that I came back for a fill because my lashes looked at least two weeks old! They were so nice when I first came to get them and now that I am asking them if this is their usual quality of lashes they are very rude to me. They ended up not even taking them off and they refunded me half. & they didn't even take them off fully! They began but then stopped and told me that I can get them removed elsewhere. The shop itself is a nice place, but it's not worth it. The owners are very rude and it seems that their quality is very inconsistent. I would like to add that she said that I can't expect my lashes to look the same because us "black people" have a different eye shape, generalizing all black people. For everything else that she has said, she has twisted the truth....but that's okay. It's up to her if she wants to go back and forth on Yelp instead of just messaging me personally. I'm not sure how good this can be for business. Take your chances, if you wish. You may have a good experience--but if I were you, I would go elsewhere. She used to do this service at her home and recently she moved her business into a shopping complex. Lots of parking. I'm so happy that she didn't raise her prices. She has the best prices and quality compared to other people who charge an arm and a leg. I drive 25 mins each way to get my lashes done by her and it is worth it. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions. Lee Mee was very helpful and worked around my schedule multiple times. The entire process took around 50 mins - 1 hour. Cons: The process was fairly painless but my eyes did water here and there (I could feel her pinching my eyelid/eyelash). I only had them on for a week before I got them removed. I wasn't allowed to directly wash my eyelashes, which caused a slight buildup of oil on my eyelids. On windy days, the eyelashes would clump together or fall off along with my natural lashes (My natural lashes were fairly weak/short). I had to keep combing through the eyelashes to separate them after sleeping/showering/biking. After 5 days of this, some of my lashes weren't going back to its original position. Instead, it would stick up vertically and would refuse to fall off (making it look very messy). I also started to form a slight eye infection from not being able to properly clean my eyes. Pros: The lashes did look very nice. I would do this again if it wasn't so high maintenance (and if my natural lashes were stronger). The price was cheap compared to many other places. Lee Mee was also able to fix my lashes two days after I got them (for free) because of the wind/rain. She also responds incredibly fast to any questions or concerns if you have any. Prices: The eyelash extensions here were fairly cheap. The natural set was around $50+. The full set 1 was $60+ and the full set 2 was around $70+ (the full set 2 was just more full/had more lashes). If you mention that you're a student, you get $10 off which was a plus. She also charges $10 to take off the lashes. I recommend going to her to remove them, since doing so yourself can cause you to lose some of your natural lashes. read more

One thing I will say is that the glue they use does burn a little bit at some points. i have never written a review but i am so upset with how my overall experience with this place i have too. I came in and i was 4 min late ( i know this is my fault) i had never been there before so they gave me the booklet to see the eyelashes and already the person that gave me the book looked upset. i told her what i wanted i asked to have 13 be the longest and i pointed to one of the pictures of how i wanted them to look like. It was a short length to a longer length at the ends of the lashes. When i opened my eyes after 45min or so. i was so in shocked, all the eyelashes looked the exact same length. (All 13) i wanted to cry right then and there, but i didn't i turned back and said hey im sorry but i asked for 13 to be the longest length. The lady got upset very quickly and said something along the lines of" no your crazy they are 9,10,11,13 " . i didn't say anything back i just stared at myself and was honestly just so sad. she yelled back and said "do you want him to cut because you were bickering" and i said yes please if he can. when i was walking over she kept telling the guy that was going to cut them to talk a picture, she was saying "take a picture show her !! " and he wouldn't, he started talking to her in their language. she ended up coming over and talking a picture of my eyelashes and never even showed me and i'm sure because maybe she realized they were. the thing is i believe yeah she used different length but she did not consider my eye shape. if you put a 13 at my ends and a 11 on the middle they are probably going to look the same since when you open your eyes, the ends won't lift up as much as the middle of my eye. so they are going to look the same. the man did end up cutting them shorter but they still look like clumpy caterpillars. i was so upset once i walked out i couldn't stop crying and was honestly embarrassed to be seen with what i walked out with. i came home and was able to take a lot off with olive oil. overall even more upset with how they handled the situation, and having to pay 70$ for something i seriously dislike. read more

Cheap lashes and a nice studio. I think the method she uses puts too many false lashes on one lash so it looks bad after a few days. She also glued my top and bottom lashes together so my eyes lids were stuck together. She fixed this by pulling out my lower lashes. Super cheap at $50 for a full set so I guess you get what you pay for! read more

She took her time, explained to me very throughly everything that was needed to take care of them and when you have such a detailed oriented person like that to do your lashes, you bet I was super happy about mine! I want to start out by saying everyones experience is different my review is my own experience and no one elses. I went to Lee Mee because she had the best reviews for eye lash extensions in the area. She also had fantastic prices. I was hesitent to get them applied because I have sensitive skin. But I decided to get them done anyways. When I arrived it was a small but comfortable room and the bed was cozy. She went over the process and let me pick the size and thickness of the lashes. She did not do an allergy test on me which I heard most professional lash places will do. About 5 minutes into the process my right eye started to burn. I thought that might be normal because of the glue but appearently your eyes are not supposed to burn. She was very gentle except one time she did pick at my eyelashes which hurt a little bit. I assume a lash fell or got stuck somehwere it shouldnt have. After about 40 minutes I was done, which I thought was strange because I heard most lash applications take an hour and a half to two hours. When I looked at my eye lashes I was in love. Regardless of the experience I loved the way the lashes looked. Unfortunatley they did not feel to great. My eyes were supper red and watery and they still burned. I thought that would go away but unfortunatley it stayed that way all day. The worst part was the next morning. When I awoke my eyes were caked in crust and my right eye was in pain every time I blinked. My eyes were severley red. This lasted about 3 days. Finally when it cleared up I tried to enjoy my eye lashes. But thats when I realized the placement of my lashes were actually pretty bad. I had a lot of lashes glued to my skin which is not supposed to be that way. I also had flakes of glue caught in my eye lashes that I had to pull out. I had multiple lashes glued to one lash which made my lashes heavy. Eventually I started getting some of the lashes poking into my eye. Overall the lashes lasted about 3 weeks and I could feel them the whole time which was not to fun. Eventually they looked so bad I had to remove them with oil because I did not want them refilled. My eyes were bald for about 2 weeks which was fine because that happens when you get the extensions removed. I already have long lashes to begin with so I definitaly wont be getting them done again. I am not sure if I just had a bad experience because of my sensitivities but I highly suggest getting an allergy test done before getting them put on. Hopefully this was just one bad experience. I did reach out to Lee Mee by phone but always got a voice recording. I did call a few times and explained the situation over voicemail but never got a call back but this did take place during a holiday week so that could have been why. Overall I think Lee Mee is priced great and the location is convienent. I did love the way the lashes looked but I definitaly hated how they felt. read more

Her work USED to be FAB but myself and 2 other friends have recently noticed she's taking in too many clients and not spending as much time giving the eyelash fills. She used to spend an hour on my lashes and now her appts are only 35 minutes. My lashes are clumped together from using too much glue and applying too many artificial lashes onto one natural lash. Don't ever come get your eyelashes done by LEEMEE, she'll ignore your text messages and then tell you the day of your appointment that she won't service you because you're "too sensitive". Btw if you're going to turn someone away, then maybe you shouldn't do it the day the appointment is scheduled, you should have told me to my face when I was there. They'll also glue your top lashes to your bottom ones and try to stick scissors in your eye to part them, from poorly placing the eye patches on. Then they'll try to play the victim, saying you threatened them by telling everyone you know not to support their business lol dramatic much? Plus when she was doing them she pinched my eyelid a few times and my eyes kept getting watery. I had to tweeze some off because they were irritating my inner corner. So the lashes turned out looking good but by the first day I had lashes falling out. I followed all instructions ie; not showering first 24hours, not using mascara or anything the first 24hours or at all for that matter, stayed away from humid and hot places, didn't rub my eyes etc ... second day more lashes fell out and now we're going on maybe a week later and a couple more have fell out . I don't expect them too all completely stay in but for them too start falling out the first and second day was ridiculous. I'm glad I only spent $60 cause if I would have spent more I would be pissed but I definitely think they should improve the overall finished outcome so lashes don't fall out so easily. read more

I LOVE this place! It's by far the best lashes I've ever had done. I don't have any problems with them falling out before they should because you lose at least 5 lashes per day per eye naturally whether you have lash extensions or not.
