Sad to say, the inability to get prescriptions in a timely fashion, the off-site filling of those prescriptions in ridiculously large containers, the inaccuracies of the app, the often inaccurate emails/texts regarding status, along with the high turnover in staff, has made even me realize it is time to change pharmacies. I get my controlled substance medication through tele-health, which cannot be transferred, so I have no choice but rely on whenever they feel like answering the phone which is NEVER. I have logged several hours between yesterday and today waiting to get my medication, each time I was either disconnected or had waited too long and had to hang up to tend to other things in my life... When you call they initially connect you to a call center with a "pharmacy tech" to appease you I suppose, then you will be sent to the 7th circle of Muzak call hold for up to half an hour where you will then be disconnected. Has happened sooner in the multiple times I've called in the past couple days in the vain attempt to get my prescription refilled (again, it's tele-health so they don't get auto-filled, I have to call and go through this absolute nonsense) This is a years long pattern with no indication of changing, I will definitely be switching pharmacies. Of course, every Walgreens centers around the pharmacy, and this one is no exception. Nice large pharmacy that can probably take care of whatever medicine you need. Personally, what I like about all Walgreens stores is that when they do find themselves out of something they can order it and - with their constant resupply and restocking - can usually get what you need within 48 hours. I have allergies as well. I depend on the Pharmacy staff to make sure everything is correct and that there are no bad interactions between meds. Pharmacist Victor is awesome. He is always available to answer my questions. I very highly recommend Victor and the other pharmacy staff. Walgreens is a real asset to our community. It is also handy when last minute items are needed from a gift to a needed food item.
