Bought a a scratched up stainless fridge... price $650 for bottom mount freezer. BY the time they added tax and delivery charges it cost me over $800 dollars. I can't adjust the temp. The refrigerator freezes some things. They will not do anything to help. The delivery was over $100. Don't think I will buy from them again. They claim they "refurbish " all appliances. Purchases a dryer and had to take it back 2 times. Told that it worked fine. The manager of the store was trying very hard to make corporate understand but corporate was rude to him about the situation. In hearing how they spoke to him I felt like they were accusing us of trying to get a more expensive dryer than what we bought. I didn't appreciate the accusations that I was hearing. I suggest you not buy anything from this place. We purchased a dryer that broke down the week we got it. The came to get it and sent a loaner. The loaner worked fine. They bought the original back and which I might add the original was the same model but the wrong one. When they bought the original back it dried one load of towels and quit working! My brother n law purchased a washer and a dryer that they never delivered when asked for the money back they said no refunds just in store credit! I would put zero if I could I have worked for the company and only one person has the knowledge of the business and she's over whelmed she's great THE OWNER DOESNT EVEN KNOW THE BUSINESS... THERE IS A 200% MARK UP... PLUS THE BIG refrigerators almost always have something wrong with them... the delivery guys are great....but the product is subpar... they come in with other peoples used water in them...everything almost always needs to be replaced at least 3 times before they get it right...not disgruntled just disgusted with the ethics... Do NOT recommend the Danville store! Because I had been speaking with soemok from the Lexington Store, the Danville manager wanted to know why I was calling her store. Once I asked why she was being rude she began yelling at me and told me she was hanging up on me. She tried to hang up but didn't succeed and I listened to her say "I showed her! My parents bought a really nice stove and refrigerator from there about four or five months ago and they never worked right. In this short time they have already had to buy another stove (not from there) and now they are going to have to buy another refrigerator as well.. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Went to the Lexington store and purchased a stackable washer and dryer and the delivery service. At the time of purchase we inquired about stacking the appliances and even told the salesman that we'd purchased the stacking kit. The delivery date was rescheduled last minute, TWICE. We visited the Lexington Store and worked with Tim who tried to resolve the issue. When the appliances were finally delivered on the third attempt, the delivery team said that they could stack the appliances but couldn't install the kit. The kit would have to be installed by a "technician" and would require an additional fee and another trip at a later date which wasn't communicated to us at the time of purchase. In speaking, with the VP of the company, we were told that he wouldn't be "wasting any more time" with us and that we'd have to "deal with it". This man was very rude and unprofessional. Sold defective appliances. Picked up for repairs within 30 days of purchase. After 3 weeks of silence (not hearing anything at all from Mako) a delivery driver calls to give 15 min. advance notice for appliance drop off. No PPE masks on either worker. Hooked up washer and dryer then tested on manual stop start. The dryer delivered was not the dryer I paid for. Store manager, Zach, said my dryer was "crap" and they sent me a replacement. The replacement is sub-par. When I attempted to use the washer today, 3 cycles do not work and the machine does not drain. Same as the original issue. Exceptionally rude manager. Indicated he would take steps to have a refund issued, then hours later, made derogatory comments and said he didn't care because he was leaving the company in 2 weeks. I have contacted the main office twice in writing and left a message. If "no stars" was a rating, I would have picked that. AVOID this company!
