We typically park our car in reverse so we can set up the chairs/cooler out in front of the trunk facing the ocean. Makes for easy access to the shore. Everyone is respectable with cleanliness and ensuring trash/debris are thrown in the garbage cans and not littering. We always meet some friendly people here where we share some beverages and beach space with. Quite a community here. Don't forget your beach parking permit; you can purchase it when you enter ($12 for the year).

We were able to set up our canopy and enjoy our 4 yo playing in the sand and in the shallow waters. It was nice because the waves aren't too crazy and it's actually very shallow for a while. The beach parking permit ($12) also could be purchased right in the front so you didn't need to stop by a gas station prior to coming. I would definitely recommend this beach and hope to come back again soon!

Ya'll thought of everything anyone could possibly want and gave attention to every detail. The pier is beautiful and just draws your eye out to the bay and the gorgeous sunsets. It was the perfect place to sit and watch the fish jump, a few dolphins swim by, and the sun sink below the horizon. Wherever you choose to sit on the site, you can't miss the amazing and beautiful sunsets-easily the highlight of each day! The lush landscaping and beautiful palms make it a true tropical oasis. The site feels so private and is so quite, peaceful and restful. We also enjoyed walking the Rockport Beach and the Tule hike and bike trail, and were amazed at the herons and egrets roosting in the trees off Fulton Road! Thank you for all the info about those areas! How lucky we were to get to meet you and share this amazing place with you for a few days! Thank you for being so warm and welcoming and kind! The wonderful boat trip through the Rockport canals was an unexpected bonus and highlight to our stay. There are some beautiful areas in Rockport, but I think the canals are a hidden gem! But here's our review of our stay…read more We arrived at the resort during a light rain our truck and trailer making it's way down the road dodging large and small puddles as we turned into the staging area. Our arrival and site assignment simple. We backed into our bay view space and set up for our week stay. First the park is perfect a outstanding view of the inland waterway into Corpus Christy harbors and Bay. My sister lives close by and came to breakfast several times during our stay and joined us for the typical tourist attractions of the area. The pro and cons of our stay. PRO'S there's a small local dive bar one block from the front gate. There's a food truck outside to die for. Top the with live music and our stay was truly a good time. Cons We can't stop this time but will when we will again soon. The new owners and management people are very nice and the dive bar and food truck are a huge draw.

All new concrete sites but no amenities (no firing, picnic…read moretable, etc), tight sites but good grass (w/ sticker burs abundant), WiFi 2 bars in site 24 which is a west/ east backin. Water pressure good, FHU's w/ 50 amp, 3 bars on Verizon so you can stream on cellular service. WiFi not strong enough too. About 1/2 the sites are FTers w/ #22 winning yard of the month. Roads are concrete but very tight. Our 35' crossed the grad even though we were as far right as we could go. 40'+ rigs will have issues turning and backing in as all sites are back in w/utilities at the rear of the site.

I know they have recently been bought out. A few changes, no longer garage pickup or clean towels. That's not such a big deal but no coffee maker in the cabin and in all the years in the past: the security-cleaning deposit was given back into your account. Was informed today( after I had to call) that that was now included in your stay. That should have been made clear up front upon booking. We make it a diligent habit of thoroughly cleaning our cabin before we leave. Between no coffee maker and the other little perks, we were short changed in our stay this year. I have always taken your business cards and also word of mouth to promote this resort but I now have to think twice. Just not the same as before.
