I was a little confused by why they would close all their cash registers and not leave one registrar open for customers still in the restaurant so as we proceeded to leave, I asked for corporates number the girl that that was behind the door as we were going out asked why do we need corporate's number or is there anything we could do to help? I said no you're closed. Laugh out loud. I just need corporate number. They didn't give me the number they said look it up online so I did and as we were going to our car, we got in the car the manager came out to my car and proceeded to ask why we were going to call corporate I said because y'all closed remember instead of de-escalating the problem he just escalated it more by coming out to my car and arguing while we are going to call corporate on them we said we would never eat there again or come back. That is my favorite place to eat and I will never eat there people don't need to be rude and work at a restaurant?

Their flavors were mostly fruit flavors, but there were a couple of non-fruit flavors to choose from as well. Husband and I decided to try their three scoop combo, with graham crackers and chocolate chips on top, and their bourbon caramel sauce. The ice cream flavors we got were coconut, cheesecake, and I believe something with peanut butter in it. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about their coconut ice cream, because generally, I'm not the biggest fan of coconut ice cream, but I severely underestimated it. Their coconut flavor was probably my favorite one out of all of the flavors! For the three scoop combo, I believe we paid like six or seven something dollars. While that may seem steep to some, like I said, we live in Austin, Texas, and things are quite expensive there. At some places in Austin, one scoop can equal anywhere from 4 to 5 dollars. So when we saw THREE scoops for 1-2 more bucks? Shoot, that was a deal for us. They have little tables outside you can sit at. And it's right across from the lake which is lovely. I actually watched the guy do it and hand it to me. I locked eyes with him and put the scoop up on top myself. I didn't say anything to him, but I'm.surey face spoke volumes. As for the food, it was excellent , as always. The food is never bad. And this last complaint is more for the corporation, than the Vernon location. Iiss all the windows that Braum's locations had. It was bright and happy. It's kind of gloomy and depressing. It feels like you're eating in a bunker unless you sit right beside the front door.

I had my son, two daughters and two little granddaughters with me. We pulled up, parked and waited for our turn. Waiting turned out to be a good thing because there were so many options to choose from. I couldn't even list all the available flavors. The prices are $3/small, $4/medium, $5/large and specialties. The little ones ordered a Barbie and a Frozen, both came with suckers in the straws, big gummy frogs and one with more gummy candy. My daughter's ordered a Strawberry Bomb with a piece of cheesecake and whipped cream and then a Raspberry/Cherry/Green Apple snow cone. My son got the Ninja flavor and I got a plain grape. We also received suckers in our straws. They have a Facebook account under their old name Emma's Sugar Shack. The snow..er shaved ice was awesome!!
