Very great hamburgers and the service is wonderful i really like the shakes all in all highly recommend

I don't know what's happened to this place lately, but something put it into a downhill slope. The line at lunch used to be the fastest and most efficient in town. Now it's seems the have Mc Donald's crew (read review on Vernon's Mickey D's). Moreover, the last few times I went in there for an ice cream cone, the second scoop was stuck on to the side of the first scoop....the SIDE!. As I said, this was not a one time occurrence. I actually watched the guy do it and hand it to me. I locked eyes with him and put the scoop up on top myself. I didn't say anything to him, but I'm.surey face spoke volumes. As for the food, it was excellent , as always. The food is never bad. And this last complaint is more for the corporation, than the Vernon location. Iiss all the windows that Braum's locations had. It was bright and happy. It's kind of gloomy and depressing. It feels like you're eating in a bunker unless you sit right beside the front door. read more

So... my family and I went to this Braum's around 10pm. I totally get that we got there really late and ordered burgers and a few shakes. They announced that they had our order ready and handed us a bag with burgers and fries.... Great! We also ordered shakes. They said Ok. So we waited. And waited. Meanwhile, food is getting cold. And finally asked about the shakes. The guy behind the counter just said, Oh! We're out of Vanilla , Chocolate and Strawberry ice cream, so we can't make them. We then had to ask if we can get money back or if there was anything else we could do. They ended up making shakes with some of the other ice cream flavors they had, but really, had we not asked I'm not sure if anyone was going to figure out they hadn't completed our order. This location has gone downhill, tremendously. The workers durning the day time are not warm & inviting, they give off vibes that they'd rather not serve anyone. I keep coming back to give them a chance but the food is always terrible. I ALWAYS have to send my food back because it comes out 30 seconds after the order is placed, yet it's cold, cheese is NEVER melted, and fries are always soggy. The ice cream is about the only thing worth going for. Theres also a specific employee, name starts with P & she is NEVER friendly. Constantly in a crappy mood and never smiles. read more

Disgusting. I just had HALF of an eyelash in my burger. It was in my mouth that felt so nasty and i've never experienced that. So I called to let the manager know and she hung up on me angrily after telling me that none of them have eyelashes so it's not theirs. That is absolutely ridiculous. How is it not possible theirs if it was in their burger beneath a bun? Terrible service and obviously terrible quality of a food place. She should not be a manager. Insane. read more

It super dirty in a really bad way. We were slipping on the floor due to oils stick on floor. The restroom was awful. I didnt eat but my husband tried the ice cream and he liked it. If you can close your eyes and nit look at ice cream station i bet you'll be able to eat in this place.Everywhere was closed and we are in long road trip and he needed to increase his sugar intake for another three hours or so. Im giving one for the taste of ice cream because he liked it. Im not recommending this place specially if you bring a kid with you. read more

Just stopped in to get breakfast at 7:15am. 3 people working and all looked at me standing at counter and didn't offer to take my order. Stood there about 5-7 mins and left after no one took my order or even acknowledged me. Great customer service you have!! McDonald's just got my business. read more

The good: Bathrooms are clean and spacious. It's conveniently located in a convenience store, right by the highway. Servers were attentive and food was tasty and fast to come. Burgers and fries felt healthy (not greasy or oily). We ate 5 people and a kid and payed $42. They have plenty of seating, however the place seemed popular so it might get packed some days. They have plenty of parking and it's right by the place. The not so good: The only downside could be the seating for larger groups, and there is only one bathroom for man and one for women. The verdict: highly recommended if you are on the road and need to eat good fast food at a good price! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have a kiddo with an anaphylactic food allergy and after asking the staff for a clean scoop we were laughed at by the employee who then held up the scoop and said she would "just rinse it off in the back". We obviously left so if you have food allergies - steer clear. They have no concept on how to work with allergies and will, apparently, laugh at you - something we have never experienced before. read more

Workers not wearing gloves while handling food, the employees that were working the ice cream lane did not wear gloves, people walking in barefoot and another employee eating in the back licking his hands then going back to work and did not wash his hands! This was the most unsanitary Braums I have entered, the employees were more worried about SnapChat then the customers! read more

I really enjoyed going to the different Braum's locations in Amarillo. There aren't any in Austin when I visited my daughter there and there may have been some in Dallas but I never made it to 1. When I saw there was one in Vernon I made sure I stopped in and got myself a small hot fudge sundae. I just love the fact that they have the little sizes for just a couple dollars of malts and sundaes. I don't want to eat a large amount and after I have a few bites, I'm basically done and have had enough sweets to hold me. Getting an ice cream that's two or three scoops or even one large scoop is just more than I need. In Braum's I can get a little sundae or a small malt for just a couple dollars and it's more than enough for me. I don't feel like I'm eating excessive calories and I don't feel like I'm spending a lot of money so I can go a couple times a week without feeling guilty. They seem to have good quality ice cream and the service was perfectly good too. read more

We stopped in for an ice cream and left concerned we had contracted Covid. The place was very messy, staff had half masks, customers without masks and waitress touched all the cones without gloves. Ugh. You can do better Braum's. read more

Stopped in as we were driving to Dallas. The food, cleanliness and service were pleasant. We got the Jalapeño burger and Chicken club. They were tasty; no let down and no points to rave about. The brownie sundae was the best; a worthy must add for a complete dining experience. They have a fair selection of homemade ice cream flavors. I recommend getting a double scoop sundae and sharing it. I'd stop in again on a road trip by, if it were meal time. read more

We stopped in while passing through on a road trip. We regretted our decision. The restaurant was dirty. My shoes stuck to the floor with every step I took. When we went to find a table, there wasn't a single one that didn't have crumbs still sitting from previous customers. I continually had to wave away flies from my food while eating. I ordered a jalapeno burger. The jalapenos looked so dry, as if they had been sitting open to air all day long. The burger wasn't anything special. They have crinkle cut fries, which are my least favorite kind. It didn't help that they were not cooked all the way through and therefore slightly soggy rather than crispy. read more

Stopped here at 7am at hour 3 of a 12 hour trip last month. For a Braum's, it's probably a 3/5. For a fast food breakfast joint, the food was more like a 2/5, but local people watching was 4/5 so I'd call it a 3 average overall. I ordered a typical breakfast sandwich meal, coffee was OK (it's no Whataburger, let me tell you what), but it's endless... so there's that. Go nuts. Wife ordered a Big Country Breakfast, which was a gigantic pile of every farm animal you can imagine served with a dog bowl full of gravy. It was quite a bit of food. Sausage patties looked like maybe there were left over from the day before, and eggs looked like they were probably cooked from powder, but the biscuits and gravy were off the hook (I tried em to be sure). And our toddler absolutely mowed into it so you know it's decent at least. Next to an endless supply of the panhandle's most average coffee was an endless stream of old men and overalls, which was fantastic. I'll go anywhere and dunk hockey puck sausage patties in gravy in order to go through a parade of "howdy do!" and "good mornin to ya!" toothy greetings. read more

Braum's is a great company with lots of good food to offer. This Braum's is good too, but it's not consistent. I'm not talking about the ice creams, fries or even the chili, all great foods. The sandwiches & cherry limeades aren't consistent. You might get one or two trips in a row that are perfect, but before long you'll get one with it wrong. Sometimes the burgers are perfectly cooked, condiments are correct and the burger isn't oily but the next one won't be. The breakfast burritos always smell great, but if you change anything on them they are smaller and you are charged the same if not more for taking something off. They charge you over a dollar for water too. read more

Unfortunately, they did not have the coffee setup I had hoped for, but they were polite enough to let me try before buying their standard. The coffee had been sitting for a while so had grown cold. While visiting my boyfriend's family, they took me to Braum's for dinner. I was shocked to find that this was a mini grocery store/ ice cream shop/ fast food joint! My review is for the fast food portion. I decided to get the jalapeño burger (after I was told by a few people that was a good choice), which I really enjoyed! The burger was a good size, not too big and not too small. I also got some fries, which were not the best fries I have tasted. The fries kind of resembled store bought frozen fries. The prices for the burger and fries were about average, so I was not disappointed! I will definitely go back and hopefully get some ice cream next time! read more

This was the dirtiest place! We were traveling through on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not busy. ALL the tables were dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the manager didn't even saying anything when we asked if someone could clean a table for us to sit down. She pointed at a girl and then at a table and walked away. They don't even have a diaper changer in the bathroom! NOT family friendly! YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!! Someone needs to teach Hector a little something about customer service. While visiting my mom twice in Vernon, we ate here and dealt with this employee on both occasions. NOT ONCE did he ever smile, barely made eye contact, and never said anything beyond repeating what we ordered. HE ROLLED HIS EYES when my mom had to ask for cream for her coffee because there was none out in the seating area. When our order came out while my mom was stirring in the cream to her coffee, he pointed at me then pointed to the tray, THEN WALKED AWAY! We were sitting no more than 10 feet from him! And...we were the ONLY people in the restaurant at the time! He had this attitude the first time we ate there but I figured he must have been having a bad day and cut him some slack. But all this crap he pulled the second time we were there made me realize he's just a lousy employee. My mom wouldn't let me confront him nor the manager about our experience so I'm relegated to going the Yelp route. I doubt anything will come of this because reading other reviews on this location indicates that the problems at this Braum's location go far beyond just this prissy guy with a chip on his shoulders and a foul attitude. read more
