Getting a person that can make a decision is impossible. I got a new company to install a new take and take of our service. I called to advise them to come pick up their tank and they had the audacity to tell me that it would cost nearly $500 to pick up their tank! I went ballistic and consider that approach to business criminal. RUN FROM AMERIGAS!

When they arrived, the first thing that said was that I had to repaint the tank before they would fill it up. None of the other companies ever required this. I got the paint and painted it. Then they started the fill but stopped just enough to to avoid having to to pay the rebate($300). They told me that there was something wrong and couldn't finish the fill(thus cancelling the rebate) They left, drove though our garden, got stuck then finally got out but destroyed the lawn there. They never followed up and never sent the rebate. Without a doubt the company is crooked. I called Suburban and they came out and filled the tank and their price was good. I am still with Suburban and emphatically suggest that you stay away from Amerigas.

I left messages but no one returned my calls. Two weeks ago I got a call and a email invoice asking me to pay for my tank and service for the next year. I told her about what had happened a few months ago and how I haven't been receiving their services. No real sympathy, just continued to ask for money telling me it was my annual service charge not a filling fee. I asked her to cancel my account and send someone out to get the tank. I followed this phone call up with an email. 2 weeks later the tank is still at my house, I have called numerous times and spoke to no one. I have left messages and no one calls back. And I have received no confirmation email that my account has been closed.

We went to the office the next day after no one answering phone. We wanted a receipt. No answer Monday voicemail full. Monday closed. Tuesday a receptionist was in the office she had no record of our purchase. I asked her to call her boss in front of off me. No answer but she promised that she get back to that day. She did not. Wednesday closed. Thursday closed. Friday closed. Voicemail full. Saturday open the technician who came to service our fireplace and advised us to order new logs was at the desk. He claimed he does not even know the owners phone number. Obviously he does know who is employer is and how to contact them . He was not able to give us a receipt. I need answers from this company . I will post on every social media review site .
