Just delicious..noatree what you order off the menu? Daily specials and heavenly homemade desserts..great service, adorable venue and very homey and comfortable. You cannot go wrong with anything you get from here . They have a specials board daily as well as their regular menu and all delicious. Had the Potato Soup and the special Sandwich for the day and it did not disappoint..the owner is there to greet you and also check you out, a truly sweet lady and a gem of a Restaurant...one of my favorite spots ..

Food: 4 starts Service: 2.5 starts Gift shop: 4 stars On our way from Naples to Inverness we came across this little gem. We stopped for a quick lunch and we were satisfied. We share a cup of Swiss potato soup, country cabbage soup, and chicken pot pie. My husband said that he could have easily had another. We had a young server who could use training, she could do better.

Our girl gang of Horse Pals always comes to Mallie's! They have incredible food, outstanding service, the desserts are fantastic!

Outside sign. Voted Southern Season's list of small town restaurants!!

Cute restaurant with beautiful antique dishes all atound. I had the spinach quiche special which was awesome! It had a while slice of cheese on top which was so good! My husband really liked his club sandwhich. We were there at 2pm and got seated quickly. Small restaurant so you may want to make reservtions. The cake pieces were huge! The 3 tiered cake was so beautiful that we thought it was not real. Save room for dessert or I should have just had dessert first!

While visiting friends in Brooksville, they took us to the cutest little country eatery! It was super quaint with quilts on the walls, tea pots and teacups lining the shelves near the ceiling along with blue willow platters and vintage china. Just my cup of tea... Speaking of tea, with all the pretty dishware they have around this restaurant, they could use some new cups for serving as a couple of ours were chipped and cracked. Poor cups need to be retired, and I was then, once I mentioned it, brought a new cup! Huzzah! The tea inside was delish as was all of our lunches! We all chose The Best of Both Worlds: 1/2 sandwich & a cup of soup! I had the chicken salad on rye with a cup of homemade potato soup! It was literally all that and a bag of chips! ($7.95) My hubby had the "Gobbler" turkey & cranberry croissant with broccoli soup!! For dessert we shared the coconut silk pie, made from scratch and yummy! I was hankering for more! They had so many flavors of pie!! Like in the movie Waitress!! The meals were satisfying and tasty served by a congenial server with a cute retro apron. They have some tempting old fashioned specials like meatloaf, Roast beef, pot roast, pot pies, shrimp & grits and more! Check out the other sandwich options, salads and the array of homemade cakes! Dining at this cottage styled cafe makes you feel like you're eating in your mom's kitchen with pretty tablecloths, plate racks, dish towels, pictures and cozy seating! If I'm visiting Florida again, my tummy will surely find its way back to this sweet diner!!

All southern class - starting with the owner and ending with desert. You feel like you are home, or at a home you want to have!! Soups made fresh everyday is the highlight. We particularly enjoy the butter bean!! I have had the crab and the cabbage soup also. The meatloaf is unforgettable, the spinach salad is perfect with roasted sweet pecans and a from scratch citrus dressing. And then there is pie............. The kitchen understand the ingredients and are very helpful when working through my wife's severe allergies -- we love that.

It's an old house that's been transformed into a restaurant and each room has a theme. Super tight and small private parking lot so recommend parking on the road. All parking is free. When we arrived it was around 11:40ish and the wait time was 1 hour! Yes we waited. I was starving. We got called around the 40 minute mark. Taken to our table and waited and waited and waited -- probably 20ish minutes later we got our order taken! Drinks came out and the ice was already lacking, you could tell it was melted. They were out of the butterfly tea. The regular iced tea I ordered unsweetened with a bit of sweet was bitter and very dark in color. Bleh. For food I ordered the Honey You Must Try This which is fried chicken, spinach, tomato, crispy onion straws, house made cream cheese and honey mustard on top. The crepe itself was good but there was nothing that set this place apart for me! It did need more dressing and I think they forgot my cream cheese because I didn't see or taste it. Took awhile for the food to come out. Overall we were there a little over 2 hours! Crazy! The place is crazy busy and I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what but some improvements are needed. They need more shade in the front areas where they have benches and such for guests to wait. It's FL and the heat is no joke! The AC inside doesn't feel cold because so many people are inside and it's an old house. Staff and service is lacking. Not once did we get checked on during our time here. Actually if we needed something we had to get up and find someone or wait until they came to another table and flag them down. Decor is great and cute.

Add a half booth, you know, the time with a bench on one side and chairs. On the other where we were presented with 2 coffee mugs and asked if we wanted anything to drink While we looked at the menu, we told the host that we will order shortly. So she said okay and left. Upon looking around, we noticed that several tables were empty. But still dirty, and then we looked at our coffee mugs, and saw that they were dirty. So when our waitress showed up within a couple of minutes we asked for new cups And some coffee, and as soon as she came back to the table, she just poured coffee into 2 new cups without us. Even looking at them and then given a few more minutes to place a order We noticed that the table beside us was starting to get cleaned then they left without taking the dishes, we thought that was kinda odd being that my friend and I were previous restaurant owners ourselves what we understand that people get busy and then about 5 minutes later, the person came back and finished up the table. And at that time we placed our order Of which I ordered a special that they were running at the time. Mine was a italian type sandwich, and she ordered a taco neal without avocado, the food arrived not too long after we were there presented to us in a decent manner. They both looked good but to our surprise, both of our meals were pretty bland and the aforementioned coffee that was given to us had a very burnt, bitter taste to it. So we both decided to just drink our lemon water which the limits for the most part and her bowl of fruit, whether the best tasting options that we were given. Because my Italian sandwich was bland and the chorizo on the sausage are in the sauce was very overpowering. And I really would like to have enjoyed my sandwich but it was bland and almost tasteless. It did look good as did my friends breakfast tacos, she told me that the best part of it was the fruit bowl to help take away the taste in her mouth from it, i like trying different things whenever I go to a First Watch when I go. But this one did not seem to match the expectation that I've had at others I've been to And lastly, as with a lot of restaurants these days, as we were opening straws And discarding napkins and putting in a nice pile for the waitress to take away, it sat there until after we were done with our meal. Typically when you go to a table and you're asking questions and credibility with customers, you would clear away any trash and stuff around them if you can And do anything you can to comfort your customer other than that the waitress was attentive, just in my opinion, not awake yet, I don't know if they had a bad weekend or what but this is not what you would want. At a higher end breakfast place, I may try it again in the future. And see if they get their stuff together, in my opinion, or I may just go to another and see how they compare.

The tea room itself is a beautiful, eclectic house. Spacious yet cozy, decorated in a delightful hodgepodge of styles that somehow comes together harmoniously. It feels whimsical without tipping into chaos. The kind of place where teacups don't match, and that is precisely the point. Making reservations was pleasantly easy. I emailed on a Sunday for a Wednesday seating and received confirmation by Monday. I was mildly surprised they did not require a credit card deposit, something many tea rooms now request given the labor-intensive preparation and delicate perishables involved. Their trust in the process is refreshing. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Amiee, the owner and our server, was friendly and engaging, walking us through the tea selections, the promise of unlimited pots, and explaining the offerings that would arrive throughout the experience. We ended up trying five different teas, each pot a small surprise thanks to Amiee's suggestions. I cannot remember all the names, but I can happily say we liked every one of them. One in particular tasted remarkably like banana bread in a cup. Warm, aromatic, perfectly balanced, and thankfully not overly sweet. We were also delighted by the Peach Apricot, bright and cheerful, and really enjoyed the Pomegranate Vanilla Lemur, which had a lovely layered flavor. We began with a creamy mushroom soup, rich and comforting. The scone, served before the tiered tray, was warm, buttery, and quite good, though notably without the traditional Devonshire or clotted cream. Still, it stood proudly on its own. The finger sandwiches were fresh and thoughtfully varied. The bread did not appear homemade, but the selections complemented each filling nicely and everything tasted fresh. The cheese muffin was flavorful, though we both mused that two smaller ones with a slightly moister crumb might have been even better. The sweet tier was satisfying overall. I was initially skeptical about the bread pudding, but the mini chocolate tart and a delicate lemon tart on filo more than made up for it. One of the highlights of the afternoon was chatting with Amiee about the journey of the tea room through the years, including the challenges of navigating the Covid era. I am always impressed by those who pursue a vision in the food industry. It is a difficult road, and places like this exist because of persistence, courage, and a genuine love of hospitality. Another pleasant surprise was the pricing, which is remarkably reasonable compared with the often lofty cost of afternoon tea elsewhere. All in all, The Tilted Teacup offers a warm, charming, and thoughtful tea experience. My friend and I left very pleased, well fed, and with the comforting sense that we had spent the afternoon exactly as it should be spent: with good tea, good conversation, and a table full of small delights. I happily recommend it.
