Too many flies. Food was good but the huge amount of flies and fly swatter with dead flies was gross. This is a huge turn off.

They don't have much seating inside because it's a small place but they do have tables outside as well. Such a nice find while staying in Inverness! The servers were so pleasant and great. Chatted with the owners on our way out and we learned that Robin makes all of the desserts from scratch (so good)! Everything really was great for breakfast- love that they have specials each day. All of us really enjoyed our food and the vibe was great (local family diner type with indoor and outdoor seating). Robin's Country Kitchen is a small, unassuming restaurant that fits perfectly in its small town surroundings. There is nothing fancy nor pretentious about this restaurant. Again, it is a small town eatery. However, the food is definitely a treat and the prices are very competitive. I was here for breakfast and I would definitely recommend one of their omelets. This cute local restaurant has some of the best coffee and pies around. The breakfast menu looked delicious but we were there closer to closing, so We had lunch, fish, soup and vegetables. The fried fish and homemade soup were great. The mixed vegetables were from a can but we still enjoyed them. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Great service, great price. Stopped in for the fried chicken dinner today. Tender meat and crispy crust. Dinner consisted of leg, breast, thigh and wing. Good cole slaw and potato salad on the side. Everything good. Things get crowded around lunch time but service is reasonable and professional. Will return! read more

Went for breakfast. Many locals recommended this place but it really wasn't that good. Sadly the frozen hash browns & frozen home fries were greasy. My spinach & Swiss omelet was made with chopped frozen spinach and a slice of cheese on top. Biscuits tasted like they were made with lard. Fake butter on the table for breads. Robin's Country Kitchen consistently serves large, delicious breakfasts, at incredibly reasonable prices. Seven of us ate a late breakfast for under $50. And we were all stuffed until dinnertime! Service is fantastic... Shortly after we chose to sit outside on our most-recent visit, Labor Day weekend, a gentleman came by to adjust the gazebo canvases to block the sun but still allow a breeze. And throughout our meal, multiple servers came by to check our coffee & water levels. Our server also made sure we never had to wait for anything. Our meals arrived quickly, and were exactly as ordered. I could not eat all of mine, and brought my leftovers with us. This is home-style cooking at its finest! Every visit to Robin's Country Kitchen has been delicious & filling. Unless Robin's is terribly busy, we always eat here when we're in Floral City. And I've heard they can be packed early in the morning, especially on the weekend. The quality has been reliably good, and I've never been left disappointed, or hungry. read more

Nice little roadside diner just North of Floral City. It's relatively tiny by comparison to other places, but the food, decor and the staff are are all great! The soup I had was delicious and unique. I had the beef stroganoff soup which tasted like - well, beef stroganoff. Tasty. The side salads were good and generous. The restroom was maintained too. Would recommend to anyone in the area. I used to live in Floral City but never ate here. Boy was I missing out! Such a nice little laid back atmosphere with lovely ladies waiting the tables. Our coffee never went empty. The biscuits and gravy were wonderful. The cafe is decorated with horse paintings and like decor. It's a small place but doesn't feel cramped. I took my husband Bob Patten to Robin's Country Kitchen for breakfast. We sat at the counter right in front of the handwritten daily specials listed on the whiteboard. We were entertained by all the humorous signs on the wall, they really made us chuckle. The daily specials included desserts that sounded so good I actually considered having the hummingbird cake for breakfast, but I resisted and had my usual omelette. Although I said it was my usual, it's one of the best omelettes I've ever had anywhere and that says a lot! I asked our server Kim to show me the cakes and Robin, the cook, put together a tantalizing platter to show off the mouth-watering cakes. OMG it was so hard not to get one to go! This was Bob's first time at Robin's and he loved it. He really enjoyed the food and he was comfortable sitting at the counter. The wait staff were so busy and we both were astonished at how efficiently they run the place, even taking care of an overflow of customers seated at the tables outside, all done with just two servers! You can see a photo of the servers and the cook in the photos above. However, that photo was taken on my first visit. Today was Kim and another lady, whose name I failed to make note of. But the two of them looked after the whole place and everyone was happy. As we arrived, three guys on some awesome motorbikes pulled up. They looked like they had been on a long ride. I loved their bikes, which you can see in the photos below. The staff at this restaurant are so welcoming and their efficiency is truly legendary. There is even a little play station set up to entertain the tiny tots. Next time you're in the mood for a great meal or just a fabulous dessert, be sure to stop by Robin's Country Kitchen. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and close at 2:00pm. read more
