After experiencing no help from Home Depot's clueless employees, it was great to find helpful and GREAT service at the Sherwin Williams store in Issaquah. The advice and professional guidance from Mariana and Evan has been extraordinary. Frankly, I couldn't have completed my numerous remodeling projects without them. My "projects" started with finding specific colors for a study room (that needed to match a rug), and evolved into renovating oak wainscoting and staining/refinishing my wood doors and windows. It was a lot, but I did it and it turned out very well. Mariana is attentive and "switched on". It's refreshing and quite smart to have a young woman working in a paint store! I came 10 minutes before closing, and she patiently helped me without rushing, until we found the right colors. Evan was very helpful, and his expertise is evident. He helped me create a stain to match my wood floors, while teaching me about wood oils, stains and finishes. I am super grateful! Keep up the great work!

We are creatures of habit, with my wife using JoAnn's Fabric for her sewing crafting needs because that's where her family shopped while she was young. Later Michael's became the place as they expanded and opened new stores in our area, and her other mom friends recommended. Now Hobby Lobby seems to be the place as we convert to an empty nest and help my newlywed daughter decorate her new place. This location isn't as new as the ones we have been going to in California, and wasn't nearly as well staffed. In our case, we were able to find everything on our own. I did learn that items marked as 'Your Price' (which is a large portion of the store) is the final low price, no other discounts apply. The vast majority of product are inhouse brands, with the price preprinted (which saves labor on pricing tasks). The only hiccup was that nobody was actively manning the registers when there were no customers, and could only scale to one register even with many customers waiting. But as I've recognized, personalized customer interaction is more important than speed and efficiency at craft stores, and it's obviously working for them.

He can not provide the receipts or invoices of the materials he claims he bought (14K+ in materials and over 6+ in labor }. He is now gone and only 20% of work is done. The carpentry work he performed will have to be redone since does not meet code. he has poor carpentry skills and painting skills and has a thirst for money. he will blame everything else including you but not himself. I tried look him up on L&I and can not find his business or his names listed anywhere to verify his business. He will not issue his contractor number and the vehicle he drove had dealer plates appears to be a new vehicle recently purchased . I failed on my part since i should have had a written agreement/contract before work was started. He is a smooth talker, talks big and will get you convinced that he is legit and has operated and run millions dollar projects. he will show photos to convince you. He is a pathological liar and will take advantage of you. I have proof of all the money i sent him on Cash app and venom plus cash withdrawals i made. I have the photos of the work he performed. now all that work will have to be re done. This Man needs to be stopped.
