We have old Miller paint to match. Rebecca was extremely helpful and assuring. She told us that if the paint did not match, the store can tweak more to fit better. And they did. I had about 20 cans of paint that I needed to dispose of properly. I reached out to the Rodda store where they cheerfully informed me they could take any paint I had, provided the cans were not leaking. The friendly and professional staff at Rodda helped me get my 20 cans of paint into the store, where they were loaded into a bin to be safely processed. Good store. I have been buying paint from them for my commercial properties and house for about 25 years. They gave me a good reference to hire someone in 2019 to paint one of my buildings. He was cheaper than my other two bids and he did a good job. For all the bids I was suppling the paint (so the contractor does not skimp on the paint to save money), since I was using the paint for a contractor that Rodda recommended they sold me the paint at contractor rate. read more

Came in looking for a color match for a few gallons of paint. The two guys did not give me the time of day. They took my order and I thought they were mixing the paint while I was waiting, only to find out 10 min later they hadn't even started and that it would take an hour! As I was asking questions they would literally walk off and do something else. Finally a nice customer standing next to me (who was apparently a painter) answered my question for me. Honestly the most knowledgeable people I know. They try their best to color match your stuff and seem professional at their work. I would disagree with some that have rated this only because knowing them personally. They like to make jokes and crack some silly stuff but when it comes to getting the color they do one heck of a job. They do not have sample size which is understandable but they do have sample cards which still help with finding what you need. I will also say that staining wood can be a long process so please don't let some of the ratings here fool you because knowledge is power. Why start something and not know how to finish it from the start? Anyways these guys deserve 5 stars. read more

I spent two hours in the Bellevue store matching other paints because my contractor told me Rodda was the only paint she used. I painstakingly took the time to match all of the paint colors that I had chosen from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. The manager assured me but the colors would match and that the paint was excellent. 2 days later the painter went to pick up the paint and they had no record of my choices. Even though Scott the manager assured me that everything would be taken care of. so needless to say my contractors painter had to wait around for all the paint to be mixed. I chose contractor grade because I was assured that it would be fabulous paint. This paint is like chalk on the walls. you barely brush up against this paint and it literally falls off the wall! I've used inexpensive Behr paint and it is held up really well. Buyer beware! I wouldn't use this product ever again! not only was the service from the Bellevue store really poor the product is worse. read more

I came in to the store in search of a wood stain paint. I asked the front cashier if they could point me in the direction of wood stain and I was interrupted by him asking, "well what are you painting?" I said, "a wood fence? That's why I said wood stain." He goes on to ask what color the fence was and telling me it's a long process to strip the old paint off the fence and then to wash the fence, etc. Still unanswered I reasked if they had any wood stain paint..... he looks frustrated as I ignored all his words and he hands me a pamphlet of color samples. I see a color of gray that I desired and asked if I could purchase a sample. He replied with, "no, its by the gallon only." Now as I am immensely irritated with this employee, I said alright well thanks anyways and start to walk out only to hear him chuckling as I'm leaving. Talk about rude and unprofessional. I was treated as though I had no idea what I was looking for when I was simply just looking for a shade of wood stain paint. I wasn't asking for a textbook explanation. Plain and simple.
