Then, without any prior notification, I was told that my order had been canceled. Meanwhile, the money had already been taken from my account. I spoke with the manager, but she showed no concern and offered no helpful solution. If Ace cannot fulfill an order, the customer should be notified immediately--not left waiting at the store. I'm in here all the time for the essentials: gloves, those foam paint thing for stain, foam pads (also for stain.. can you tell I like to stain things?), tarps. All kinds of consumables you don't want to overpay for. They're consistently stocked, easy to grab, and priced right. Where this location really shines, though, is staff and tools. The staff are great, always helpful. Harbor Freight has come a long way, and the value is hard to beat. Especially for air tools! Solid performance at prices that make it easy to expand your setup without overthinking it. I recently picked up an orange rolling tool chest on sale and honestly couldn't be happier with it. Sturdy, smooth drawers, and an incredible deal for what you get. Also worth calling out: the Apache hard cases. These things are fantastic. I use them to keep gear dry, protected, and organized, and they punch way above their price point. No frills, no nonsense. Just good prices, useful gear, and a store that makes it easy to get in, get what you need, and get back to work. I forgot my MAILED coupon, so I asked can I buy this $70 worth of stuff and bring the coupon and receipt next time and you adjust the receipt?? NOPE. can you just give me the $5 off NOPE. AT gas $5 a gallon they told me to go back home and come back. I said NOPE, IF YOU DONT WANT TO PROVIDE customer service makes no never mind to me. I will just go elsewhere. now they wasted good will and I won't go out of my way to support them. I bought an $800 electric lawn mower and the first time using it I found the self propulsion was defective. I brought it back to the store within 2 weeks of purchase and was told that because it was used I can't exchange it. I said, "of course it is used, how else could I have found out it was defective." Then they said they wanted to take it in the back of store and test it out. I agreed. 40 minutes later the manager came back and said the machine and box is covered in oil and so it wasn't returnable. I told them it can't be covered in oil it is an electric mower and they don't use oil. Then he said, exactly you must have put oil in it. I adamately denied this accusation and they then said well we won't exchange it and I would have to go through the manufacturer. When I got home I inspected the machine and the box and there was no oil. So clearly they are too lazy to take care of their customers because they don't want to do the paperwork to send it back to the manufacturer as defective.

I unfortunately cannot recommend this group in any way, shape or form. They are disorganized,…read moredeceitful, unprofessional and incredibly difficult to work with. We ordered several pieces for a bathroom remodel over a month ago after an incredibly uninspiring visit to the show room where we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff by asking for help and guidance. We selected our elements and purchased them and were told it would be 3 to 5 weeks for some pieces to arrive which aligned with our renovation timeline. Now we are already past that time and we are told it will still be another three weeks for the final elements to arrive in their warehouse, let alone get to our home. I was forced to purchase some pieces elsewhere (which will be at my home less than 8 business days after ordering and now that I did so the delayed pieces havw mysteriously shipped incurring a 25 percent restocking fee. Bear in mind they will wont even arrive at their warehouse for two more weeks and I am expected to pay an additional delivery fee they never disclosed. If you are absolutely desperate to see an honestly small and unimpressive display of a few Kohler pieces by all means feel free to visit this shop but if you are interested in actually having the pieces arrive without a headache or delay, buy them somewhere else. If you have absolutely no other option then definitely work with anyone there except Kim Stranger and certainly take nothing she says as the truth. Look through the rest of the reviews here and other places, it's obvious that this is their default modus operandi and choose somewhere else.

I changed the rating from 2 stars to 3 because they at least reached out. 7/15/2024 - Nothing but a profound disappointment with the service I received at Fergusson location at 3440 6th Ave S, Seattle. My recent experience left me frustrated and concerned about the level of customer care at this store, and I urge your business to a competitor or even another Fergusson shop. Called on Tuesday to order a 3x3x2 Street Wye, a special fitting not typically stocked. I chose this location due to its proximity to my workplace and was assured it would arrive by Friday. Unbeknownst to me, this store is the only utilities supply shop that closes at 3 PM daily. I received no notification that the part had arrived, so I called at 2:30 PM on Friday to confirm its arrival. I informed the person on the phone that I would leave work immediately to pick it up, yet there was no mention of the early closing time. I arrived at the store at 3:06 PM, only to find the doors closed and gated. A person sitting in his car in the parking lot rolled down his window and, when I explained my situation, his response was simply, "I am not going to clock in." He suggested I go to the Marginal Way location, even though I had specifically ordered the part for will-call because no other Fergusson in the Seattle area had it in stock, and it had to be shipped from Portland. His refusal to help was frustrating and disappointing, especially considering my entire weekend plans were contingent on this fitting. When I returned on Monday, I encountered further issues. I asked why the employee even bothered to engage me if he had no intention of helping. Another customer, who seemed to know the employee, became confrontational with me for voicing my concerns. This added to my frustration and made the situation more uncomfortable. My main concerns are as follows: 1.) Why didn't I receive a call or text confirming the part had arrived? 2.) When I called to confirm the part was in and mentioned I was on my way, why was I not informed of the early closing time? 3.) Why was the employee sitting in his car and engaging with me if he had no intention of helping? 4.) When I spoke with Kyle, the manager, he seemed indifferent to the lack of communication and customer service. His response felt obligatory and dismissive. This experience reflects poorly on Fergusson's commitment to customer service. The lack of communication and the dismissive attitude of their staff are unacceptable. It would be nice to see a business address these kinds of issues promptly to prevent other customers from having similar negative experiences. I honestly have my doubts that they even care about customers.
