I was in my first car accident one week before Christmas. This body shop was in my insurance company's network, and they had the earliest availability. I ended up here somewhat by default. Right off the bat, I felt warmly welcome by the entire staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and patiently answered all my questions. Because they had been expecting me, they were 100% prepared and ready to serve me the minute I walked in the door. Mike asked me about the accident, and then he and I walked around my vehicle to examine and note the damage. (A rental was immediately provided through my insurance, but Malvern Collision helped organize the pick up and drop off.) The very next day Mike called to inform me that the estimate was done and the parts had been ordered. I was able to view the estimate details on my insurance policy account online. He even took it a step further to find similar decals on Amazon for me, if I was interested in replacing the ones I was losing (that were on my old tailgate). Wow! I was given a target date of Jan 9, but they had everything completed by Dec 31 -- over a week early! They said if I noticed anything wrong, just let them know, and also said their repairs are lifetime guaranteed. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and the customer service I received was top notch. (Note: I can't say whether or not I got a good deal, as I had nothing to compare it to, and it was covered by insurance. In my limited and humble opinion, it SEEMED reasonable, given the amount of work done, and the quality of the labor. For that reason I'm basing this review on everything except cost.) Very positive experience! I hope I never NEED their services in the future, but I would use them again, and absolutely recommend them to anyone in the market for auto body work. read more

I would give these guys an absolute -5 star review!! Absolutely horrible communication, they told me they're reassembling the car last Thursday, so then I call on Monday they tell me all they have to do is clean it and do a walkthrough and they'll have it done by Tuesday Afternoon. I call them on Tuesday and apparently they're reassembling it again? So I don't know what games these people play but I would avoid them and go somewhere else for sure! I don't appreciate the dishonesty Especially when I have no means of transportation. Definitely not going back! A deer came out of nowhere and I tried to swerve out of the way. Unfortunately I clipped it on my passenger side. It pushed in the molding on the bumper and the reflector was broken. I went to Malvern Collision to discuss how to repair it. Mike came out to my car to do an estimate. He said why don't I just try and fix it right now. I was surprised that he just brought it into the shop and fixed everything back in alignment at no charge. Then Mike ordered a new reflector for me to replace the following week. When I got there they quickly fixed it and my car looks great again. Everyone at Malvern Collision are great. Great communication and very helpful. I had the best experience here! I was hugely concerned bringing in my '10 Mini Cooper with front end damage after 2 other local places told me it was likely to be totaled. Mike and the boys at Malvern Collision were great-I told them I desperately wanted to save and fix my car. They really heard me and followed through -even when they realized there was additional damage. I wouldn't take a car back to Malvern Collision, as I don't feel that their work is as good as other shops. I had some bodywork done here in 2001. The only place on my car with peeling paint is where they did their work and it's been peeling for years. Older bodywork/paint from a different shop still looks excellent. read more

Malvern Collision was hired by State Farm to repair a car that had been rear - ended. The car had sensors in the rear bumper. Before the accident they worked perfectly. Malvern Collision repaired everything properly - except the rear bumper sensors. They now beep randomly when the car is in reverse, even when there is nothing behind the car. THE SENSORS NO LONGER WORKED. I took the car to the Malvern Collision's owner, Andy. He insisted that the sensors worked and, if I had a problem, to take it up with the insurance company. A different mechanic verified that the sensors were not working properly. When I took the car back to Andy, he refused to let me show him what was wrong or to even discuss the problem. "I'm trying to be cordial", he said walking away. "Take it up with State Farm." Avoid Malvern Collision. read more

Today, I called for the last time and they assured me that it would be send today but didn't care to ask for my contact information so clearly, they're blowing me off. This place is a fraud! They repair parts that they write estimates to replace and bill your insurance company for the new parts and keep the extra money in their pockets.
