I had belongings in storage that I needed to be moved from a facility in Los Angeles to a new location in Ventura County. I found several companies on Yelp but decided to call Mama Boy Movers. Barron, who answered the phone, was friendly and professional. I explained what I needed and the date I wanted it done. I received the estimate and was happy with the quote, but I called another mover to compare. I was so confused after getting off the phone with the other mover because of their double drive time, mileage, etc., that I immediately booked with Mama Boy. I received a reminder email and text the day before the move, which also told me who would be my point of contact regarding the move with their name and phone number. The morning of the move, I received a text from my contact person, Q, who gave me their arrival window. About 45 minutes later, I received another text with an updated arrival time. Mama Boy Movers' punctuality was impressive. The team arrived within 5 minutes of Q's given time, demonstrating their commitment to timely service. Two of the movers for the day were Q and Elijah. Again, they were both friendly, courteous, and professional. I showed them where the storage unit was and the elevator situation, and they got to work. About 15 minutes later, another worker showed up. I had been given a third mover for free for the load-up, and he was also excellent. Vlad was just as professional and a hard worker like Q and Elijah. The three emptied the storage unit and loaded the truck faster than I thought they would. I never felt they were stalling or lingering around to make the move slower. Q drove the truck to my new storage location, and I explained how particular the resident managers were. Once again, he and Elijah closely followed the instructions, and the two of them had the truck unloaded and my belongings placed in the new unit very quickly and precisely. Overall, I was overjoyed with how smoothly everything went, and the prices were reasonable compared to what I expected to pay. I highly recommend Mama Boy Movers, and if you can get the team of Q, Elijah, and Vlad, then you'll be more than pleased. However, I suspect all employees there are equally competent and efficient. Great experience with these movers! 1) Setting up and arranging was clear and easy. 2) The followed up via phone and text confirming a few days before and the morning of move. 3) Guys were unruffled by the amount of stuff we had and being on the 2nd floor. 4) They worked hard and consistently. The 4 guys we had were all so very polite and very hard workers. 5) They assembled my daughters bed without asking so she had a place to sleep that night. :) 6) The installed our TV onto the wall and I don't see a bunch of wires.
