I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband who coordinated and reserved the moving services. He is a man of few words, but a Mama Boy Movers review deserves more than a few words, so I just had to write it We moved from Goleta to Lompoc on Monday (9/9/24), and had the pleasure of getting Kyle and Ray (Raymond). These two young men were EXCELLENT and represented the company extremely well!! Key points to share: 1. Communication - Kyle and Ray updated us when they were 45 minutes away and re-updated us when they encountered a minor delay. That was very much appreciated, because companies nowadays rarely do that!!!! 2. Professional - Ray and Kyle were fast, polite, respectful, personable and handled all our belongings from beginning to end with uttermost genuine care. 3. Teamwork - I really enjoyed watching the dynamics between Ray and Kyle, as well as the way the treated my husband and I during the process. They definitely were a great team for our move!!! Ray was quite engaging and answered all our questions, even the random ones I asked that had nothing to do with moving etc, But....he would timely, smoothly and respectfully re-direct to the task at hand. Kyle was fast, smooth, polite, respectful, focused....and even though it was a rather short period of interaction, I gathered he's probably a man of few words They are definitely a huge asset to Mama Boy Movers!!! Please let them know that we sincerely appreciated the moving experience they provided!!!! ***We have never used a moving company service before, so when my husband told me the price, I felt like it was rather high for a move less than an hour away, also considering that we were moving from a studio and we did not have thaaat much stuff. HOWEVER, all those thoughts and feelings flew out the window after Kyle and Ray showed up and delivered reliable, dependable and professional services- It was worth every penny!!!!! These guys were amazing. I almost hugged them all when they left. Courteous, moved quickly, went above and beyond to help us out. Their communication before the moving process was perfect. They called me ahead of time to let me Know when they'd be there; and when they showed up they wrapped EVERYTHING and treated even my crappy furniture with the utmost care. You get what you pay for!! The whole team was fantastic. Courteous and helpful! They made my move so much easier and even assisted me with taking down the heavy big screen TV off the wall. We needed help moving two big beds and mattresses, both upstairs and downstairs. After receiving the quote an appointment was made for the next morning. Q and Bronson came when they said they would be here and were polite, efficient and both all around great guys. Best moving company! We used them to move from SoCal to NorCal and they crushed it. Tevin is amazing and so is his crew. They all worked so hard and took great care of us. Super responsive every step of the way. Tevin got us next day delivery when many others quoted that they wouldn't be able to deliver our stuff for 5-7 days. We were able to track the drivers locations during the route as well. Would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who needs a mover! read more

The whole crew at MBM is amazing! I was referred to Tevin for our interstate move. He was professional and very easy to work with. On moving day, Q (supervisor/driver) showed up with a crew and they got right to work! They were diligent, methodical, respectful and you can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of their work. Q shared his location with me so I could see where my belongings were the whole time! He arrived right on schedule for the unload. Tevin and his crew were waiting and ready to go! Mamaboy Movers was EXCELLENT for us! From my first contact with owner Tevin we expected a fairly priced, smooth running and on time move-and we got just that! Tevin is an excellent communicator about price, terms, logistics and unexpected developments-like when a bookcase didn't fit in the elevator and had to be carried up the stairs. His crew was polite, carefully trained ( see how they fold blankets over the chairs!) and his right hand man, Ben, was also helpful in describing process and precautions. Mama Boy Movers were AMAZING! Tim and Alex worked very hard and quick, they were professional and friendly! I have a sleeper sofa that they had to haul up a flight of stairs, they had to take the door off of its hinges and place the couch on the railing just to get it indoors. Great experience with these movers! 1) Setting up and arranging was clear and easy. 2) The followed up via phone and text confirming a few days before and the morning of move. 3) Guys were unruffled by the amount of stuff we had and being on the 2nd floor. 4) They worked hard and consistently. The 4 guys we had were all so very polite and very hard workers. 5) They assembled my daughters bed without asking so she had a place to sleep that night. :) 6) The installed our TV onto the wall and I don't see a bunch of wires. Mama Boy Movers did an excellent job with our move. We started in Tustin for the first pickup, continues to Lake Havasu for the second pickup and finished with the delivery at our new home in Prescott, AZ. Stevon and Manny had a fantastic attitude during the entire process. It was the hottest day of the year in Lake Havasu (120) and Prescott (104) and they stayed positive throughout. They worked hard, were personable and very professional. They took great care when wrapping our furniture, loading the truck and delivering everything to our new house. BEYOND HAPPY to find this company! I was able to set up and complete a move in less than 24 hours!! From the moment I saw Tevin's big smile, and Spencer's fun personality , I knew it was going to be a good day! The fact that they were large enough to be offensive lineman for my favorite football team was also a win, but they were gentle and agile as well. Seriously sweet guys that you want to hug and adopt!
