Kyle and his team called the morning of to let us know they were on their way and got there early. They loaded up so quickly, made sure everything was packed safely and secure. We even had two pick up stops for a storage unit and a house. Kyle's team made sure and accommodate us with placing items needing access for 2nd pickup easily for us. I had a lot of furniture and 85 boxes and a long stairway for them to go down, and they were very careful with their hand trucks on each step. Nothing I own was damaged. Tim also disassembled and reassembled a large dining table I was concerned about. I left some items curbside for LA Sanitation "Bulky Item Pickup" (I had previously arranged the pickup) to pick up the next day (which they did), and both movers cooperated with me every step of the way. They were also careful moving items into the hardwood floors of my new apartment, reassembling the table, lamps etc. in my new place. I chose Trek because of their very favorable reviews on Yelp and Google, but what really sold me on them was the way their Customer Service people Arthur and Andrew handled my initial calls. I called several movers, but both Arthur and Andrew at Trek were outstanding communicators and from the first call made me feel confident and well informed regarding my move. My crew consisted of four strong fellas-my crap being packed left and right, furniture being moved, boxes toted off, things I wasn't taking headed for the trash etc. They were all done by 1:30 or so and headed to the new place so I stopped for pizza/soda for them. The team was efficient, respectful, and understanding of the hot mess of a move we had for them - lots of packing help with not a lot was ready to go, plus some unexpected furniture moving that required disassembly/reassembly. They came right about 15 minutes after the end of the arrival window which actually worked out well so we could prepare more for them, but overall everything was faster than they/we estimated which is great when you're paying by the hour. They used supplies we had bought from Home Depot and Amazon, plus their own for the wardrobe and other big things. One glass jar was broken in the unpacking process and they were quick to apologize and clean it up the best they could.
