Basic meat and three. However the meat and three are wonderful. I had the chicken fried steak, with okra, green beans, and pinto beans. Washed it all down with a bath tub sized ice tea. Lots are suffering from employee turnover. Cooks mainly. Today's country fried steak was overcooked and peach cobbler was paste with tiny piece of peach. Slaw was tasteless. I am glad they are holding on. read more

AVOID UNTIL PANDEMIC ENDS. This restaurant was once good but should be avoided now without competent management or staff. All but one table in the dining room was piled with dirty dishes and old food. With a nearly empty restaurant, it took almost an hour to get our appetizer which was UNDERCOOKED/RAW and looks like it had been dropped on the floor. 0/5 will not be eating here again until management is changed. read more

The vegetables from about 20 options. 4 kinds of bread, and 5 desert options. I went light, 1 meat and 2 veggies. I had Catfish which was excellent. Fried Okra and butter peas. Both excellent as well. Add a big glass of Sweet tea and you are right in the heartland of good ole southern cooking. If you are in the Florence area, stop in and enjoy a good meal. It not fancy, and the seating is a little tight, but the staff is friendly, and you will enjoy some home grown restaurant feel and experience. read more

My wife and I tried Mama Jeans for the first time last night. The decor may not be fancy, but the food was fantastic. Just good old fashion home cooking. The previous reviewer should have given it a chance. He doesn't know what he missed. The prices are great. We paid less than we would at McDonalds and the food was a whole lot better. Give it a try. Homeside is gone now and we need a good family restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurants around the mall are great, but depending on the day you may wait 10-20 minutes before you're even seated. Mama Jeans gets 5 stars from me for great food at great prices. read more

Me and boys stop there about 2 weeks after it opened. It was around 5:30 pm. We went in sat a table. Notice the tables didn't match . Anyway we waited 10 mins at our table and waitresses walk by our table but know one stop to give us menus or get our drink orders so we got up and left. We went to homeside. Eating at mama jeans is always a good experience. I usually have breakfast there when going to Florence. The western omelet is my favorite. The waitresses are very friendly and punctual. Food is always prepared just right and the prices are really cheap for the quality you get. If you are looking for great country cooking in a friendly place you should try it. Ultimately I was extremely impressed. The staff was very amiable and friendly, and the prices were outrageously REASONABLE! For $5 I got a double cheeseburger that was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. Overall very high quality food for unbelievably good prices. 9/30/2016 came in set down got drink and menu ordered to special for Friday night got it 15 to 20 min later I part of order was wrong ran out of my drink took 20 min to make the sweet tea was through eating before I got a refill it took another 10 min to pay not busy just no one to pay didn't have my ticket my server left with it couple behind me never got there order and were going out when there order was brought out and were telling how happy they were with there service will not be back read more
