Unhinged message from the owner after criticizing his overpriced food.

Overpriced food and a psychopath for an owner. He can't take criticism for being another dime-a-dozen high end restaurants in Sprint Lake.

I'm not a huge fan on thin crust pizza and maybe I didn't look at the website close enough to see how thin the crust was. The breadsticks also seemed like something you could get in the freezer section. My family enjoyed the pizza, but I would not go back when we are in town. If you like think crust though this place is for you.

Probably the best pizza in the area. Small hole-in-the-wall restaurant that gets sweltering in the summer. I suggest takeout to a local park on the water somewhere (you are surrounded by water in SL) and watch the boats. Or head to Stan's Bar down the road and have them deliver it there. Great crust and sauce. Good people. Unfortunately they do not deliver to GH Township :(

No, I did not order extra onions, this is how it comes

If I can offer one piece of advice to make your life better, do not order the cheesy garlic bread, it is either cheesy (I can see cheese, but it has no taste, and I'm not talking it has a little taste, no, it has no taste) nor garlic, it looks like they just put some cheese on a sub bun, and put in a box with some sauce; I might've given them three stars had it not been for the garlic bread. The crust is super thin, I give them credit for that, even those burned all the way around the edges. I don't hate the pizza, I hate the square cut, in West Michigan, we like triangles not squares. The sauce taste like tomato paste and basil, and nothing else. You do get your moneys worth on the onion, they put about a whole onion on my pizza, really odd, it doesn't work. I wish the pizza tasted good, because it smells amazing, just just because salt is inexpensive, doesn't mean you need to load your pizza up with it, I feel like I need to apologize to my blood pressure monitor after eating this. $27.60 seems a little expensive for what I've got, but if you don't try new things, you don't learn.

A great modernization of Mama Mia's, with their own flair and great food! The gyros and pizza are delicious.

Our pizza was delivered hot and 15 minutes earlier than expected. Their thin crust is our favorite and the sauce is amazing.

Canned mushrooms. Very little sausage. Disappointing. Quite possibly the worst pizza I've ever had.

I happened to be in Ferrysburg and wanted the fried chicken from Leppink's. They do have great fried chicken in the deli. But when I got to the deli around 12:45, they only had two pieces left. 2 wings! So who knows how long those wings were sitting there? I left Leppink's and spotted Greek Tony's and figured they might have a lunch special. There's no sign out front advertising lunch, but I figured since they have sandwiches and salads they must have pizza by the slice. Sure enough when asked the counter man said they had a two slice special for $7.42. It was two huge slices of their supreme pizza and a small styrofoam cup for your soft drink. I could only finish one slice....probably should have asked for just one and saved a couple of bucks. I'll know for next time. Pizza was a bit greasy, probably from the pepperoni, but it was a thicker kinda chewy crust. Overall very tasty.

Person answering the phone was pleasant, never had a problem with any of the order takers. The pizza on the other hand left a lot to be desired: -Very thick and chewy dough. I realize this ain't a thin crust, but it was not like this previously. -Sauce taste has changed. -VERY stingy with toppings. Perhaps a way to save money? Other than that, everything else.....wait time, counter-clerk, etc were okay. Bottom line: I will patronize this place again, but unless the product is improved, it will more than likely be the last time for me.

I grew up eating at this pizza place. I have been going here for almost 30 years. A few years ago…read morethe original owners decided to sell. It was shuttered for almost a year while the new owners learned the ropes and renovated the business. When it finally reopened my friends and I could hardly wait. They went first and their report back left much to be desired. They just said it's not right. They said they would give it a second try so we all went. I ordered my usual large pepperoni pizza with extra sauce and my friend ordered the super sub. The crust in the pizza was dead on, but the sauce was totally wrong. The flavor was way off and it ruined the entire pizza. My friend said the super sub was completely different. The ham was wrong and the bun was different. I asked if the new owner was there and they said yes. She came out and we talked. We both told her what she thought and she seemed genuinely surprised. She said that her husband worked for months with the previous owners to learn the recipes the exact way they prepared them. I just reiterated that it was somehow different. Then came the bombshell. She said "well they are exactly the same, but we are using higher quality ingredients." I don't know where she learned the English language because that's not exact if you changed the ingredients. She said we use "a higher quality sauce" and now the buns come from a different bakery. So basically they changed everything and claim it's the same. I continued to monitor facebook for several months to see if other customers had the same experience and sure enough every now and then people would point out it wasn't the same. At one point I added a comment and just said "I wish they would go back to the original sauce". To which the owner promptly responded "it's exactly the same only higher quality". She then arrogantly blocked me on Facebook. I will not go back to this restaurant until they change their sauce back or change owners. They are rude and dishonest.

We tried the 50 Club and the Tony Subprano and both were very, very good. We also tried the Porky Mac Balls and they were delightful. We did carry out and our order came out quickly. I don't remember if Mama Mia's ever had a dining area, but Mia's does now. I used to get Mama Mia's Pizza Sub, so I asked if they still carried that and they pointed out that the Pizza Sub on the menu is Mama Mia's original recipe, so while we didn't order that this time, I have eaten enough of those to recommend them as well. Thanks for keeping it on the menu! Great job!
