They are light and crisp and not overly-battered or heavy. Then there is desert. The grape cobbler (first time I ever heard of grape cobbler) is amazing. The fragrance is mouthwatering-like driving by an orchard when they are at their peak. An unexpected and hard to describe experience texture - a bit like grape jelly but not exactly. And combined with the delightful cobbler crust it is perfect. Vanilla ice cream is the perfect addition to balance intensity of the grapes. It is worth a trip just to try this. And we did! read more

My family and I went in to get the Valentine's Day special. We had no issues being seated , but issues with service and quality of food. Our server, whose name I didn't catch, just walked up to our table and stared at us for about 15 seconds before asking for our drinks. We ordered mozzarella sticks, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken fettuccine, and chicken nuggets for my son. The mozzarella sticks came out barely warm, with no cheese melted. The spaghetti and meatballs tasted atrocious. Watered down meat sauce maybe? My Alfredo had virtually no flavor and grease pooled the top. We asked for the manager to take off the pastas and we'd pay for the mozzarella and chicken nuggets and leave. My son took one bite of his chicken nugget and refused to eat the rest. When the manager came back we asked her to take the chicken back and take that off our ticket as well. She responded to us and said "well you guys can just leave then" and ripped our ticket off the table. My boyfriend felt this had more to do with his and my son's race than anything. I called around 4 pm to speak to the owner. She immediately knew who I was(as I left a review on google before we even pulled out of the parking lot), and told me she replied to my review and refused to address the issue further. I told her that spoke a lot about her business. In her response, she claimed we "didn't even take a single bite" and "...you guys just didn't want to pay for your meal" I would love to know what made her assume that was the case. We definitely wouldn't have minded paying the 50ish dollars for the whole meal. We also, definitely did go pay 50 dollars down the street for some yummy Mexican food that was not disappointing. read more

I stopped in on the 15th of May for lunch. Ordered the small Italian special 14.00. The best thing I had was the toast that came with salad. I left a tip bill came to just over 16.00. When it came up on my card it was changed to 22.00. I didn't leave a 6.00 tip I will be coming back. read more

You absolutely have to Try this little spot right on highway 412. Always a great experience. They have daily specials but I can't go there without getting the small chicken and spaghetti meal. Beautifully fried chicken breast and a portion of their fresh made spaghetti made by their own pasta house in the back building. It's so good. The spaghetti comes with a generous portion of their homemade meat sauce. The house salads are so fresh and comes w their homemade Italian dressing. The homemade rolls are always fresh and yummy. Everything here is "Homemade" and you can actually purchase Mama Z'a dry pasta and Italian dressing from a small display case at the register. You won't be disappointed.
