I will say it's a very cute place with natural charm. The service is also great, very nice ladies sat us and took our order. The food is just very average. The avocado tasted like it was a day from going bad but the rest was okay. They also forgot the sauerkraut on the reuben sandwich which was odd haha. Other than that it's just your average American breakfast joint.

Another stellar breakfast. The service is fantastic. The food is wonderful served fresh and hot and quick. The folks are so friendly. The owner acts like he knows this every time we see him and I don't know that he knows us, but he knows what we look like for sure. This is the Springdale institution and you'll be glad if you visit! Also, the prices are very reasonable. Clean and comfortable environment.

Talk about a dollar value for a ton of food! Had the pleasure of breakfast last Friday. Our server, Ms. Tina, was on point and fantastic. I had the hamburger patty with eggs, O'Brien potatoes, and a biscuit and gravy. My wife had the veggie omelette with the O'Brien potatoes, as well as a biscuit and gravy. It was more food than either of us could finish, cooked to utter perfection, and a great dollar value.

Impressed by Susan's! Very busy on a Wednesday around 11:30, but our food came out fast! Staff were very friendly and kind. Chicken & waffles were delicious, highly recommend! Cheesy eggs and hash-browns were also very good.

Susan's has been around a long time. Eat a meal there and you will understand why! Hearty Southern staples for breakfast and lunch will keep you satisfied for a while. With great service and a nice American dinner atmosphere, you can't go wrong at Susan's!

Breakfast was amazing! Everything cooked well and our waitress took great care of us! You can expect a small wait sometimes, but it's worth it!

Overall, fantastic experience! We waited for a table for about 15-20 mins on a Sunday which wasn't too bad. Once we sat down, our server Becky, was great! She took our orders and just kept checking in on us without being too overbearing. Chicken and waffle - I enjoyed the waffle! Super light, airy and crunchy. The chicken was well breaded, not too thick, and the meat wasn't dry. Overall, I recommend this dish! I can see why it's a fan favorite Steak Benedict - overall, the dish was okay. The sauce was flavorful. The only thing was that the steak wasn't seasoned and was a bit tough. Being that it's the featured item of this dish, was somewhat disappointed. Hashbrowns were well seasoned.

This was like a step back in time. The space is cozy with comfortable wooden chairs. It's popular, so there's a short wait. They're friendly, but efficient, so they expect you to get in and get out once you're finished. I had the huevos rancheros special and my husband had the chicken and waffles. They were both delicious. I wasn't a fan of the coffee. My only issue was towards the end of our meal, a worker was walking up to the front from the bathroom blowing her nose. She then threw the napkin into a trash can by the bar, and then walked over and began rolling silverware without cleaning her hands. Everything was great until then.

This restaurant is a favorite breakfast spot of our friends who live in the area, so they took us while we were in town. I wasn't overly impressed with the interior of the restaurant, but only because there was nothing special about it. Very low key spot, which was nice though. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they ate. I got the French toast, which was tasty and something I would order again. My husband got the chicken fried steak and he enjoyed it.

We arrived at a busy time, but were still seated quickly. Good service, good food, and the kitchen was super-fast!! My Pig Sooie Omelette was filling, fulk if meat, and it tasted fantastic! My wife loved the Chicken & Waffles; well-seasoned chicken bites with a tasty waffle! Loved it all!!

I love the trendy laid back atmosphere, both inside and it includes a nice patio space. I noticed several people either dining with others or doing some reading or work on their computers, quite an endorsement of how relaxing the environment is. I had the Breakfast Sammy, which was absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted quite fresh and each component was really nailed. My wife went with The Dagwood which she loved as well. Friendly staff to boot. I can definitely see us returning here soon.

Early on there had been some shape-shifting from mini-bodega for the entrance lobby, but they've settled into this current mode as a wine bar. For my food: I ordered the salmon breakfast, which comes with a 'jammy egg,' and a latte breve. I had asked for my drink in a mug but received it in a glass. I have a personal preference for my meal to be deconstructed. I hadn't seen a picture of this dish else would have instructed had I been aware. I like to cut open my own egg and tear apart my own fish. (That... will likely be a standard request for all restaurants in the future--deconstruct.) I like the salt flakes and fennel on the eggs and don't know whether I'd've gotten them deconstructed The salmon seems (to me to be) more 'baked' than 'smoked:' The service was pleasant and charming.

We happened to be at a doctor's appointment nearby and got excellent news so we thought we would treat ourselves. The biscuits were VERY good and the gravy was also (for a restaurant.) The regular coffee is not good for a breakfast place, so that was not a good sign. It tasted bitter and like dirt? Hard to explain. Even the orangey thick clunky cheap cup (pic) was off putting. Maybe just my opinion ...but if a small change can help? [Thin lip white ceramic] I ordered biscuits and gravy meal which comes with eggs. I ordered eggs over easy ["easy" to me means unbroken wet yolk but thoroughly cooked white]. I wanted to use the biscuit to soak up the yellow of the egg, and when I broke the orange, the whites from the eggs were clear and uncooked. I RARELY send things back to the kitchen, but I felt that the eggs were inedible so the waitress offered to bring me new eggs. I re-ordered scrambled and when she brought the plate back, she proceeded to tell me that those over easy eggs I sent back were fine. By the way, the scrambled were runny-ish as well. I like raw-ish eggs(soft boiled etc.) but only when they are my own and I am handling them. We will not be returning. To me going out for breakfast is a luxury and restaurants should treat it as such.

Sunny and pleasant, but small. Large menu, but the food was inconsistent. The onion rings and fried ravioli were a hit as well as the fresh and colorful salads. Lemon chicken was fresh and tasty and could be a good option for someone watching calories or for a catered plate. Chicken-fried steak and the Rueben were both described as "okay, but I've had better." Potato soup was strangely sour and elicited scrunched faces from the four people who tried it. We didn't try the pies on this trip, but I hear that they are excellent and they certainly looked delicious. I think there is a lot of potential here, but it depends on what you order. I thoroughly enjoyed my spinach mushroom salad. The flavorful chicken breast was an excellent addition and the bacon tasted very high-quality.
