I had one of the best pork burritos I've had in a long time at Mamachio Mayan. The flavor was so different from anything I've tried before-really fresh and memorable. My husband ordered the chicken burrito and enjoyed his as well. One of the standout details is that they grill their burritos, which takes them to another level and adds such great texture and flavor. I'll admit I'm pretty picky about my meat and usually stick to a bean and cheese burrito while letting my husband be the guinea pig. But this time I was a big girl and took the plunge with the pork burrito-and I'm so glad I did. I will definitely be back. This was our first time coming to this establishment though we have driven by many times. We arrived early and we happy they were open and ready to take our order. I talked with the friendly young lady who gave some recommendations and was willing to get creative to make something off the menu for my daughters. We ordered the supreme pork burrito and supreme steak burrito. The smells were amazing while we waited and our food was being cooked. Got the food and got home as fast as possible. The steak burrito was big but not crazy. The steak was grilled well and had great taste. The avocado, sour cream, rice, beans and cheese together is alway a good thing. The pulled pork burrito was also really good and fed both my girls. Two hot sauces were given - green = mild, reddish = HOT (very tasty). Reviewing for their location at 19th & Barbur. I had noticed this spot open up in the parking lot of Vertical Diner and finally decided to give it a shot. I ordered three Conchinita tacos which were all amazing. A little small for 2.50 but flavor was on point! I also got a Burrito Supreme which is outstanding. the flavor is nicely sweet and not a size thats TOO large. Will be coming back again for sure. read more

I normally get take out and the owner is very nice. The food is delicious however I do typically prefer a more traditional Mexican flavor so I don't visit too often. There's a different flavor to this that I can't describe other than it's maybe a little sweet? Still very good, but not my favorite flavor. It may be yours! read more

She was not wearing a mask the whole time making my food . She also was on her phone most of the time and she was not wearing any gloves . Didn't wash hands after touching her phone then going back to making the street tacos . I did not like the tacos , they barley put any meet and cover it in tomato's so you can't see how much meat there is on them . I tried to get my money back , she refused because I had taken one bite out of them . Asked for owners phone number she would not give it to me then threw my food back at me through the window then slammed the window shut and locked it . First time going here and I will never be returning. Wasted $10 on 4 tiny tacos I never even ate . Very disappointing service and food . This taco cart I think moved from another location because the address is different now. It's located on Barbur Blvd. I ordered using the old pics on Yelp and their menu has changed so I will post new menu photos. We got two burritos and some tacos. A tiny high on the pricing. Tacos were 4 each and the burritos were 10. They were both good, I wouldn't say exceptional though. Minced style meat with various veggies, beans, cheese and rice. It was a little mushy since it was minced meat so didn't provide much texture. The green sauce was good but they gave us a red ish sauce and it was really hot! Will might go here again, it's right by our house but there are better options in the area. My husband wishes they still had the mole which was featured on an older menu. read more

Mama Chio's food cart at 8124 on Barbur Blvd, Portland. I recently checked out Mama Chio's and I'm a huge fan now and eat there a few times a week. Since I moved here from Southern California 11 years ago I've been missing good Mexican food and haven't really found a restaurant in the Portland or Washington that tasted like the Mexican food I was used to. Total waste of $17 dollars. Tacos we got were over priced, Flavorless and just overall bad. More nerve in the steak tacos than actual meat. The guys didn't even get my order right and I spoke to him in Spanish. My wife complained she had a bad taste in her mouth and drank the rest of my soda to wash it down.
