Bring your own seasoning. Such a disappointment. We walked in to an empty place and ALL dirty tables. Sat down to look at the menu. Everyone was extremely busy with an outgoing delivery. After about 10 minutes a man came out to clean the tables but we had to call him over to clean ours. He was very nice and asked if we had been there before. He told us we need to order at the register. Combo platter, greek salad, falafel, sajouk and 2 sodas came to $40 and change. Food didn't take too long but they forgot the falafel. Great portion size but TOTALLY bland. No taste to anything. They're very nice. Brought us free dessert. Bottom line, though, food not worth returning and not worth price :( read more

Great little find! We're from Portland and were on our way to the convention center and realized we were hungry. Decided to stop in here because of other reviews on Yelp! Food was Fantastic! It did take a while to get our food, but I don't mind that because that means it isn't sitting around somewhere. I had the Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and it was delicious. Other people from our party got the sample platters and the shrimp kabob. Everything was great... and we have good food in Portland. We even topped off our meal with outstanding Baklava! Came in for a late lunch, and it was delicious. Cute little family owned place. The gentleman who helped take my order, was super polite and friendly. The lady who was cooking seems super friendly as well. I ordered the beef kabob pita sandwich. It was good. Decent lunch size portion. Run don't walk (but don't hurt yourself) to this restaurant! I have tried different Mediterranean restaurants but I have NEVER had food this good! We ordered the large vegetarian sampler. Everything was wonderful but the grape leaves were heavenly. The yogurt sauce is amazing! Everything is so FRESH and delicious. I may never have the money to travel but after eating here, I'm not worried about it. Honestly, just close your eyes for a minute while you eat and you are transported. I believe it is family owned and operated too if I'm not mistaken. They are very friendly, the restaurant is so clean, they are wearing masks and gloves too so no worries there. I've ordered from this place a handful of times, whenever I'm feeling like something not asian or American. My most recent delivery experience was a 5-star rating. I made a mistake on my order through yelp, so I gave them a call to fix my order and ask for the food to be delivered instead of picked up. They complied without complaint, and I got my food in perfect timing. The hummus here is awesome, and I'm a big fan of the sandwiches. My only complaint is that the kafta is dry, whichnis why i give this place 4 instead of 5 stars. But I'm also not aware of what authentic kafta is supposed to taste like, so it might be unfair to take a star due to my own ignorance of authentic Armenian food. THIS IS THE BEST MIDDLE EASTERN FOOD IN THE AREA. I could go on about how good the hummus is, or the kebabs, or pretty much everything else. But what blew me away was the falafel. Like ramen, there's a cult-like-following on these things. So I've tried them everywhere. All over California... the famous food karts in NYC...and I even had them while travelling in the middle east. I never liked them a single time. The ones here though have changed by opinion completely. They are amazing, and amazingly addicting. Just like Cheetos, but in real-food form. Such a gem! This place I frequent often because it's right down the street from my job. I love the food here and the employees are extremely nice. The older lady who I think is part owner always make sure to prepare my food specially. I do not eat gluten soy or dairy and she makes sure to advise me as to what I can eat and even makes me chicken totally separate from everyone else's so that I don't have to have the soy. The food is delicious and it's always fresh and I truly appreciate the service I get here and not being made to feel awkward because of my dietary restrictions. My favorite at this point is still the chicken shawarma over seasoned jasmine rice, I had the shawarma over salad once, which is very good, but still prefer the shawarma over the rice. We had a fantastic experience with Mama's Kabab. They brought out cut pita's and hummus to start while we waited for our food. It was fantastic. The chicken shawarma sandwich is delicious. It's a lot of sandwich for only $5.00. We also had the chicken kabob and beef platters with rice and they were excellent. The meet is flavorful and tender and the grilled vegetables add to the taste. We kept cycling through the fresh pitas and hummus quickly and they would just bring more. The owners are very nice and even gave us some rice pudding and baklava for dessert free of charge. Pickled turnips- ok Pickles I like the traditional Arabic pickles Cheese borak- not bad but u can tell it was fried a while ago. Now, for the Baklava.
