Decent breakfast, clean place but not 4+ star material. Huevos Rancherous were dripping in liquid from pico. Fruit was fresh. Service was decent, also

My husband and I took an overnight cruise to Cabo San Lucas, so we were finally able to have an authentic Mexican breakfast. A friend joined us, and we took a quick Uber to the restaurant. I ordered huevos rancheros, my husband ordered machaca with eggs (gringo style), and our friend ordered chilaquiles flank steak with both the red ranchero sauce and the green sauce. The presentation was lovely. The homemade flour tortillas were delicious, and the fresh fruit was a nice touch. They offer five different salsas, which were really good. We all enjoyed our breakfast. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant and would definitely go back! Our friend is lucky enough to be staying on the ship for a few more cruises and said she will be taking her friends here.

This restaurant was conveniently located in downtown Cabo San Lucas. It's fairly spacious inside and there was plenty of seating when I arrived. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and they were just ok - not the best or worst I've ever had. The chips were a little too soggy, b it the flavor was generally good. Service was fairly attentive, and definitely catered towards an American market. I wasn't wowed enough to return but it wasn't a bad spot to eat.

Food = exceptional. Vibes = pure Cabo San Lucas magic. And the mango mimosas? Don't even think about skipping them -- they're that good! This spot is officially on our regular rotation.

Such a cute dining option! Great decor, all open. Super friendly people work here. Plus live music at like 8am! On the cruise and it's a short day in Cabo...so got off early looking for something open! Got the Pozole- Delish! Hubs got the Juevos Rancheros w Camaron...also delish!

Omelette with a side of fresh fruit

My experience with Mama's royal cafe was okay, it's a basic breakfast/brunch restaurant. They offered a few different breakfast items but nothing that caught my attention. I ordered the omelette and I like that it came with fresh fruit and a variety of condiments. I had a bottle of water that I already had with me from walking around the city, but the staff doesn't allow you to drink your own water in the restaurant, which I thought it was weird. The inside of the restaurant was clean, which was good. The wait staff wasn't very friendly in my experience, and the restaurant was completely empty so I know it's not from them being busy.

Highly recommended! Breakfast was American on point.. we end up going there everyday. Service was great. Ambiance was perfect relaxing feeling. It was 4 mins walk from Tesoro Resort.

Our family went here on the recommendation of one of us having been here previously. He loves breakfasts and was very happy again with his chilaquiles. We had the steak tacos and shrimp tacos. The steak tacos were good but nothing special. Service was good. Love the table cloths, nice, authentic restaurant for breakfast.

Excellent place to eat for breakfast. I'm sure lunch is amazing too. Service is off the charts. We have visited this place multiple times and will continue to come back. Food was amazing.

Berries French toast with side of bacon and tequila sunrise

Their French toast really is delicious. Got a side of bacon that was ok. We had been walking through town after getting some coffee and they were trying to get us to come in without our drink, which was kind of odd. Very attentive staff. Music wasn't too loud, so we were able to talk while eating. I would come back again.

Good clean restaurant with nice ambiance & good breakfast options. The french toast really was amazing! The fruits (e.g. berries) for the french toast were flambe prepped, if you prefer berries in its natural uncooked form then this is not it. The french toast was filled with cream cheese and ricotta cheese at the center. It added a nice creamy & fluffy texture to the toast. The concept was similar to some of the Japanese fluffy pancakes we had. It was the 2nd best french toast I ever had. Aaliya in Shinjuku is still our ATF. The shrimp tacos paled in comparision to Tacos Guss & El Paisa. They used small shrimps & lacked the crunch. Mango mimosa & the mango fruit juice were both adequate. The service was good. We liked the colorful table clothe & wall murals. It has a nice comfy & relax vibe. Final tally was 730 MN ($38 usd). Not bad but a tat more expensive than the casual dining places down the street. The next morning we returned for that french toast & requested it without any fruits, it was fantastic. We also tried pozole (chicken and pork& and it was adequate.

We were able to get last-minute reservations and was warmly greeted when walking into the location by staff members and quickly seated. We chose to sit upstairs where they had a view of the street so it was a great place to people watch. The overall ambience is super cute and aesthetic and a great place to just kind of chill and have some food and drink drinks. I got one of the smash burgers and it was really good. The fries were really good. Also, the burger had a good taste and the food came out pretty quickly. My wife got the shrimp which were OK, but I would have to say that they were overcooked so they were a little on the chewy side. I would probably not get the shrimp again, but I would get the burger again. We also got some drinks, but we forgot to take pictures because we are so thirsty by the time we got to the restaurant so we drank them really quick, but they were delicious with a great flavor. This is a touristy place, so the cost of the dinner was definitely on the higher end for what we got, but overall the location was really good for a little pregame before stepping out into nightlife

The live mariachi band was incredibly talented and created the perfect atmosphere for the evening. The staff was welcoming, fun, and professional, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Their recommendation to order the appetizer sampler was spot on--the fundido, quesadilla, empanadas, and sopes were all fantastic and perfect for sharing. The carnitas were unbelievably tender and full of flavor, while the sea bass had everyone at the table raving. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert stole the show! The flan was silky smooth, the churros were warm and crispy, and the tres leches tequila cake was an absolute must-try. To top it all off, the cocktails were creative, beautifully presented, and just as delicious as the food. Los Tres Gallos delivered an incredible dining experience with amazing food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that truly captures the spirit of Cabo. We can't wait to come back!

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

I didn't want to do excursions so I found some alternative things to do and one of the things that was highly recommended was a massage at the Sandbar. I was able to go online to book and pre-pay. I posted the information in our Facebook group and ironically there were more people that were interested in going. We had a van of 10 people and then I think there was an Uber with two more people, so 12 people total from my group went to the Sandbar at around 11 AM on Saturday. When I got there, I asked the lady that was checking us in if it was possible to get a discount or a referral bonus or something because of the number of people that I bought in and she said "no" and I guess I had no choice but to accept that. I probably should've asked in advance, but I know a lot of businesses will offer discounts when you have a group. When I tell you the massage was amazing, I loved every single minute of my 90 minute full body massage. I loved being able to listen to the ocean and just the serenity was so good. Afterwards I changed into my clothes, tipped my masseuse then went downstairs to ask for water because every time I've gotten a massage it's followed by water so that you can hydrate. When I asked the hostess about getting water I was told you have to go to the bar and pay for it. I asked her why would we pay for water when we just spent money on a massage? She told me that only the foot massage comes with a drink. Well the foot massage is significantly cheaper so I don't understand that, but OK. She then said to just go talk to the people at the bar and as I was talking to the young lady at the bar, this guy came over, I'm guessing he was the manager, Pepe, and he was giving her the signal to not give me a complementary water. I thought that not only was that rude, it was extremely poor customer service. Some of the group that I was with decided to buy some tequila shots, so it's not like we were not spending money in their establishment because we were, and to not include a one dollar bottle of water is showing me that they don't value my money and I should not spend my money at that establishment ever again. I loved the massage, but it's very important to me to have good customer service and if you can't extend me a basic courtesy, you don't deserve to have my USD or my pesos.
