The cake itself didn't taste awful but for $200 it wasn't that great either and I could tell it was from a duncan hines cake mix. I understand that cakes can be very time consuming to make but for the high price she charged I really expected better. I was very impressed from start to finish with The service I received. My order was a little last minute and the owner was very accommodating. Although I ordered a small cake, the attention to detail was very impressive. The little tree had lines in the bark, and the buttercream was so smooth, it looked like fondant! The flavor I ordered was chocolate cake and vanilla buttercream. In my opinion, the more simple the flavors, the easier it is to mess up. However, my whole family (as well as myself) were extremely impressed with how moist and flavorful the cake was!! Just recently worked with Danice for my daughters 1st Bday/Baptism in January and she did it again. Her cake turned out identical to the picture I sent her. It was so beautiful and delicious! I cannot get over how good her carrot cake is! It's definitely a must try! I had not found someone to do the deserts for my baby shower, because I didn't like the reviews from all the other places in town and I didn't know anyone that had ever used any of the bakeries in the Victorville area, so I was at a loss...
