The inside of the restaurant is decently sized, clean, and even has a space where you can host a DJ, which is a nice touch. There was a slight language barrier, but it wasn't a big issue. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my to-go order since the hostess/server was the only one working outside of the kitchen staff. I ordered the MOFONGO MIXTO (Mixed Mofongo), which is crispy green plantains mashed with garlic and olive oil, paired with chicharrón, chicken, or cheese. It was solid--rich, tasty, and especially delicious with the salsa blanco, which was creamy and garlicky. That sauce was a first for me, and I loved it! While I've had mofongo that included rice and beans elsewhere, this version stood on its own nicely. A couple of notes: parking is a bit challenging, and I'd recommend placing your order through an app to help navigate any potential language barriers. Overall, a good experience, and I'd definitely give it another shot!

It is a family run establishment and having just opened, the place is super clean and super modern. There is a good amount of seating, so they can accommodate a large group easily. They are open late and on certain days, they have a DJ and the place turns into a club. The food was extremely fresh and is home cooked style. The chivo guisado was extremely juicy and the meat was so tender - falling off the bone. The pico pollo was great too and very well seasoned. Portions sizes were generous with very reasonable prices too. The staff are very friendly too. It's a nice place to come and enjoy some authentic Dominican food with some bottles of Presidente or cocktails. I recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed.

They were tasty and had that slight kick of heat like real jerk does. Saw the fried chicken in the window and it looked so good. Tried a piece and that was good as well. And finally the beef patty, this was just what I was looking for! Customer service was on point and cant wait to go back for more. I want to try the oxtail, the goat, and the rice. This place hit the spot and brought me back to life!

I did this by saying "can I have two of the $5 Specials" While assembling the order, the woman behind the counter asked a couple of questions that sounded like standard options (rice, beans, sauce), and I said yes. There was no indication these would increase the price- or that what she was asking me was different than what I ordered. When she showed me the total, it was $37. I questioned it and repeated that I asked for the $5 specials, unsure of how confusion was even possible. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and honestly uncomfortable. She seemed smug & happy with herself when she told me that the special was "jerk chicken rice - you got jerk chicken" **which I never asked for** At that point I was hungry and she wasn't worth the argument or energy, so I paid. Nothing on the menu reasonably adds up to what I was charged. What an absolutely psychotic experience. Food was ok at best.

I got the el original chimi and a big papi hotdog. The hotdog was the messier thing i've ever eaten but it was DELICIOUS, not to mention all beef. It was packaged well and arrived intact. The chimi however... it was disappointing. It lacked flavor. The patty lacked the ground beef texture. The sandwich was served in a small sandwich bag. All of the toppings were at the bottom of the sandwich. I wouldn't get a chimi from here again but I would definitely get their loaded hotdog again for sure, and I'd try other items on their menu.

I ordered The Boss chimi which including bacon and jalapeño, so it's a step from the el original. When I say YALL...this shit slapped aka it's was BUSSIN BUSSIN aka it's was absolutely delicious!!! Honestly didn't even know what a chimi was but after the owners described it, I had to try it for myself & I have no regrets. Perfect meal before my nap. Will definitely be back to try more items. Aside from the food, the customer service was delightful. They were very honest and veered me in the perfect direction. Love love love

Im a fan of outdoor courtyard they share with The Spread, fyi: it's dog-friendly. The menu is inspired by global street food, and everything is served in paper bowls with plastic utensils. We recently visited on Cinco de Mayo for their Taco Tuesday special, and honestly, all you can eat tacos for $22 is an absolute steal. They also run $5 Arepa Wednesdays, which is perfect if you're trying to keep things budget friendly. I tried a few tacos and appreciate the corn tortillas. The Al Pastor was easily my favorite, which surprised me because I don't usually go for pork. The meat was juicy, topped with real grilled pineapple, and paired perfectly with the spicy árbol sauce. We also tried the Birria, which had rich, tender slow-braised brisket, though I did wish it came with the traditional consommé for dipping. The Chicken Tinga was decent, but I'm just not a huge tinga person in general. The Veggie taco was a good vegan option, packed with sautéed potatoes and peppers that gave a nice break from all the meat-heavy choices. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the churros with ice cream for dessert. Even on a busy holiday night, the staff really stepped up. Eric handled the pressure like a pro, and Chris kept everything spotless despite the constant crowd. This place is definitely more about the lively atmosphere and the "United Nations" of flavors than a quiet, traditional dinner experience. Perfect for a group hang, casual date night, or anytime you want good energy with your meal.
