I told the waitress I was really hungry and asked what's popular. She suggested Calentado. It's a dish with eggs, rice & beans, meat, and cheese topped arepa. Meat choices are chicken, steak, ground beef, or chorizo. I tried the chicken. The waitress recommended scrambled eggs with onions and peppers. Our food came out very quickly. The plates of food were enormous. Each plate had enough food for two people. And everything was great! They have a large assortment of pastries and desserts up front. Unfortunately, I was too full to try any. They seem to be very popular in the neighborhood. I have only ordered take-out so I can't speak to their dining service, but their food is always made quick and is ready when I arrive. It's the only Colombian place in the area, and a nice change of pace from the many many Guatemalan/Peruvian restaurants in Stamford.
