He helped me get through recovering from Prostrate cancer and the after effects (which by the way we're intense over a 5-6 year period) like my skin sensitivity being so acute after radiation treatments that my own (very salty) sweat caused my skin to sting from head to toe. I went so far as to use Dawn dish soap to shower with and it worked, amazingly...! My feet hurting, i bought shoes that were so wide, the Navy almost recruited me back in..! We have alot of history as today, I am going on my 12th year of being Cancer Free. In the very beginning of my treatment, Dr. Shiffman wanted to go outside of the box, get other oncologists opinions, anything that it would take because my prognois was prettty bad...a few months at the most. From the very first appointment he had me...his warmth was genuine and his determination was strong. I could call the office at anytime of the day with questions...he has a fabulous staff and I get an answer pronto from either the Doctor himself or one of his assistants. Dr, Shiffman held my hand during some very difficult times and decisions. While an Oncologists has to have one of the hardest jobs in the field of medicine, he always greets you with warmth and a generous hug and you, and during that visit, however long it takes, he is all yours 110%. Thank you Dr. Shiffman for all that you have done for me and so many on the Monterey Peninsula fighting this thing called Cancer.

I'm not completely out of the woods yet, but the herniation pain that I've been dealing with is already gone. I still have some muscle soreness and tightness, which is to be expected, but the difference is remarkable. Deb, Dr. Sohrab's assistant, made the entire process incredibly easy. She was always available to answer my questions, walked me through every step, and even provided helpful videos explaining what to expect before and after surgery. As a former professional snowboarder, I've had my share of injuries and surgeries over the years, so I'm not new to the process. Without question, this was the most comfortable, organized, and stress-free surgical experience I've ever had. I'm grateful to Dr. Sohrab, Deb, and the entire team for the outstanding care.

The other is that God connected us with a very good doctor. Dr Alexander and his team took good care of me throughout my pregnancy. They made this not so easy journey during a very difficult year a joyful experience for me and my family. We are very appreciative of their knowledge, professionalism and a safe yet very cozy environment they provide. This office also has very friendly and caring staffs and nurses. Their professionalism and patience make every visit a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, we are going to move out of the area. I wish my next OBGYN doctor can be close to Dr Alexande. We really wish that when we have our next baby, we can be back to the area so that we can see Dr Alexander again. That's how good he is!

I emailed the doctor thinking he would appreciate the feedback, and he was actually worse than the MA. He obviously only cares about patients who will have a baby. I'm glad to have the experience ahead of time rather than in person.
