Then, they billed me again for 2 years ago. I asked why I'm being billed from two years ago and they blamed the front desk. Their communication skills are poor and I'm never going here again. What happened to this place? HORRIBLE. During my yearly in Sept, 2025, they pulled me half undressed out of the exam room and demanded a $150 payment or they would not finish the exam. I questioned why but I paid it because I was brought to the front of the office wearing a paper top and exposed. My insurance company later confirmed the copay should be $25. Without my permission, mammo specialists just told me they decided to apply my 9/25 payment to a bill from 2021...and are now telling me I owe them $150 for the 9/25 exam. And they are also claiming I have outstanding balances owed from 2018, 2021, and 2022. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I really appreciated that I didn't wait long to get in for my mammogram. Great! But the woman providing the service was seemingly in a hurry and wasn't very thoughtful in the way she was managing my breasts. "This is my body and you are not handling it as if I am a living person." That's the bad part. I didn't say that but it sure felt like that. I didn't voice my feelings when I felt there was too much pressure. She would get feisty at times like I was supposed to know which way to face, where to put my arms, etc. it seemed odd to me that she shared the mammograms immediately afterward. Asking if I normally have dense tissue. Um okay, isn't the radiologist the one to make decisions to discuss further testing like an ultrasound. If I didn't know any better, I would have been freaking out. But I know I have dense tissue. So to me, that was out of line. When I left the lady at the front desk had a huge bouquet of yellow roses that were individually set up for a patient to take. She offered me a yellow rose and yes of course that was a nice touch after having dealt with the other woman doing the mammogram. Plenty of parking. read more

They drum up OLD billing issues to get more money out of you! They claimed I owed for a routine mammo visit over 2 ago. I told them to provide records. They did, so I paid it. Turned out I had already paid my share but they stated it was for 3d imaging, which the detail didn't list. I let it go. Less than 6 months later they claimed I owed for an exam 1 year ago. This was for my annual mammo, folks. Insurance is supposed to cover for most or all of it. Since it was around $50 bucks, I paid it, but I made them confirm there were no additional open items, and that my account is settled after I paid this, and they confirmed yes. Kid you not, a year later I get a letter saying I owe more, AGAIN! This time I called and left a voice mail, because they NEVER answer their phone, that what they are doing is FRAUDULENT and they will no longer receive another dime from me. With all of these issues with billing, this leads me to even greater questions towards the care I received, or didn't receive, and the qualifications of their medical staff and doctors, and even more so, if the equipment is even calibrated properly. 100% LOST all of my confidence and trust in this place and I would avoid it like the plague! I will be researching into reporting their unethical and fraudulent practices and activities, and ALL the other reviewers on here, I hope you do or have done the same. read more

Never in my life have I ever dealt with such an unprofessional, rude business. It was the most disgusting experience I have ever encountered from front desk, to management to accounting. My mom had an appointment for a mammogram at the Morgan Hill location but decided to reschedule it for the National Ave location as they give results on the spot. Upon arrival, she was told that my appointment was in Morgan Hill, even though she had rescheduled that original appointment. Maria, at the front desk, was very rude and told up to hurry up and get to Morgan Hill or she would miss the appointment. My mom asked if the charge for the immediate reading would be waived because of the mixup and Maria told her there would be no charge. I was sitting in the lobby and heard the whole conversation. So we hurried up and drove to Morgan Hill. As we were exiting the freeway, Maria called asking where we were as they were waiting for us at the Bascom Ave location, which is not at all what she told my mom. I interjected and told her that was not what she had said and she said, "well I gave you a business card." The business card has the Morgan Hill and Bascom Ave address on it so that meant nothing. We walked into the Morgan Hill location and Kim had just gotten off the phone with Maria. She said they didn't have any openings. I explained what had happened and she was able to squeeze my mom in, which was great. However, they said there was a charge for the immediate results, even though that was why my mom rescheduled the appointment for in the first place. Kim even called the doctor to see if it could be waived and she said no. So my mom ended up paying $115 for the results. Kim got off the phone with Maria again and stated that she told Kim that she "just told us that there would be no charge to get us to leave." Impressive customer service. My mom was so upset because of the whole experience, that she was in tears sitting in the waiting room in MOrgan Hill. The following week, I decided that I would go talk to a supervisor. I didn't want to see Maria so I went to the Bascom Ave location. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Mona came out to talk to me. I explained the whole situation to her and told her that I didn't think my mom should've been charged for the results as there was an error on their end, not ours. She agreed and said she would reach out to accounting to get a refund issued. She apologized and said that my mom should give them another chance to make sure the next experience was better. After about two weeks, there was still no refund. I had left a message for Mona and nver got a call back. I even emailed once and nothing. A few days later, I tried to call again and Mona answered. She apologized and said she would try again. I asked if I could email too and she gave me their email address. I reached out and the response I got from the accounting team was incredible. They were accusing me of harassing Mona and being rude and that I had no right to a refund, even though I was told I was. Apparently, everyone is backtracking on what they had said to cover their own butts. Every one is denying their involvement with trying to make things right. I was absolutely floored. The response was reminiscent of high school playground quarrels. I couldn't believe what I was actually reading. I wasn't being rude or confrontational but accounting sure was. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost. It's not worth dealing with rude and incompetent staff stemming from the top to the bottom. Same issue as everyone else, balance billed long after the treatment date. I fought back and showed them my insurance EOB stating that I owe $0 and they agreed to accept that as payment in full since they are an in-network provider. My insurance said it was rejected because whatever they are billing for is incidental to the procedure and not separately payable. So basically not a valid claim for payment as far as I can tell. Now this place says I owe the money because I signed a registration form with a waiver that I am "liable for any expenses incurred which are not covered under my plan." IANAL but I'm pretty sure that doesn't give them carte blanche to charge whatever they want to the insurance, then forward me the bill when it gets rejected. They also had me filling out the paperwork when I was already being walked back for the appointment. Kind of late don't you think??? Tried calling the office a few times but they don't pick up the phone and the mailbox is full. I am filing a grievance with my health insurance and the CA Department of Insurance. I didn't look at the reviews for this place before I made an appointment. The staff in the building office emailed me rudely, so I went to Yelp to see if other people experienced the same as me. Most of them have the same problem with billing as me and they only have one star. I hope every woman that wants to make an appointment here reads the reviews first because this place only cares about money. They don't explain any of what the doctor order. They just make you sign papers and give them money later ( 9 months later you will get the bill from mail box and everything you ask have to email and the person reply email is rude). They didn't tell you how much the insurance cover and when you sign the paper you pay. The mammogram technician tells your tissue is den and makes you schedule more appointments for ultrasound while you taking a screening . They supposed not to tell you only the doctor. This place has the worst customer service. I could not make an appointment over the phone since the mailbox was full, even though I called over the course of a week. I had to email them via their Contact Us form on their website to schedule an appointment. This should have been my first indicator that it was not going to get better. I was asked to arrive ten minutes early for my appointment, which I did and brought all my completed paperwork. I was told I had to wait a few minutes while they verified my insurance. Then the receptionist came back and told me the ultrasound tech had called in sick and I would need to re-schedule. Seriously, I couldn't have received a phone call suggesting a reschedule? I have to take time off work to attend these appointments not to mention the time its takes to drive there. It would be nice if providers would be considerate of the time and energy it takes to get to an appointment. They still wanted to perform the regular mammogram. I waited 50 minutes in the lobby before I was taken back for my mammogram. Ridiculous!! I will be asking my doctor to refer me to a new provider. read more

I contact the billing office via email and they have been rude, disrespectful, condescending, and just flat out horrible. I have been working in customer service and health damn near my whole life. I've never experienced how horrible service could be up until now. My concern is you are talking to people that might be dealing with a life changing diagnosis and the effects of someone's mental health. After seeing the other reviews, I can see this is a reoccurring issue. I'm not sure who is running the billing for the facility because, as previously people have said, they do not sign their name or provide identifying information. Current doctor bought this practice from another doctor. I have been coming to this office annually for my diagnostic mammograms for a long time. After new doctor arrived, she must have audited the books and decided to send me random bills from 5 plus years back. I had no idea I had any type of balance as I always pay my bills and would have expected them to ask me for payment when I came in at my annual appointments. I received 3 invoices which were years old and I would have submitted to my HSA account and timely paid had I been billed timely. Sending me my first bill years later because you find the previous owning doctor did not do his collections is not my fault. In fact, I lost my ability to submit my bills to my HSA because it had been too long. I attempted a dozen times to clear this up but could never get anyone to call or email me back. Instead, this current owner/doctor sent me to collections and ruined my credit for six months. What a disservice to patients! I spent hours and hours attempting to clear the issue up but current owner/doctor not interested in hearing from her patients - she outsources her billing and has no interest in helping her patients resolve a major billing problem. To NEW FEMALE OWNER/DOCTOR: before you destroy another woman's credit, please review your billing practices and try responding to people when they are willing to work with you. Their clinical care is even worse than the poorly managed front office and billing practices. I needed to have a biopsy done after an abnormal ultrasound. We are 3 weeks out and I have still not received a call about the results of my biopsy. Dr Patel looked me in the eye and said I will call you in 2 days with the results regardless of the outcome. I never heard. I called every day for over a week to try to get through as I as naturally anxious. Wasn't able to even leave a voicemail as the mailbox was full. I finally called my ob/gyn office and asked them to help me. They got the results and called me about it. Still nothing from Dr Patel or her staff. read more

Have had mammograms here for years and never a problem prior to Covid. Then, like others have stated, started getting "final notice" invoices for services two and three years prior for which I had never received initial notices. When gets these bills years later it is nearly impossible to know what one has already paid etc. In 2022 I caved and paid $439 for services in 2018 and 2019. Now, in 2024 I get a "final notice" regarding service in 2022 for $129. Unbelievable! I did email the billing department and got a quick, but incredibly rude response. It was implied that I received three bills for this service in 2022. False. I have messaged my insurance to see if they can look into the matter from 2018 through 2022 however it is almost impossible for me to research what I may have paid them prior to the 2022 payment. I called my insurance , why didn't they pay everything this time since they always did and I did exactly the same thing. The insurance told me to ask them to resubmit the charges and do it differently, I sent them an email explaining all that, the responded me back and told me that a I am a layer ! I sow the email to my husband and he tried to send them an email, they responded back and called him an insurance fraud ! After all that I decided to pay the bill and now I am looking into exposing them, I am trying to round up all the people have been scammed by them and take an action together, I will figure this out so this will end. If you haven't been scammed yet please find another place, do yourself a favor run away from here. Save your billings and bank statements! Or find them and keep them handy. I sent copies of everything, billings and bank statements via certified mail to the collection agency and Mammography specialists; the collection agency promptly withdrew their claim. I received a nasty email this morning regarding this information, calling me a liar, with a statement that was irrelevant to their claim (and that also showed the we had a balance of zero). If the debt collection company drops their claim, then you know that they don't have a leg to stand on. What a terrible organization. read more

I have received mammogram screenings from a mammogram specialist for 17 years, and my insurance has covered the costs because it is routine screnning.In August 2022, they threatened to send my 2017 invoice to a collection agency if I dont send within a week. I called my insurance company to inquire, and they said that the specialist had sent the wrong code which is dignistic code which was wrong. MY Insurance agreed to pay if the specialist sent the invoice again as a mammogram screening test, but the specialist insisted that it was entirely my responsibility and refused to send the invoice again. I was under so much stress that I ended up paying with my own money and never went back. Please don't go there, it's a scam. I want to give no star but can't get ride of two stars. read more

Today, I checked my credit score and found out I have one collection of like $800 from them. I'd never received any invoices and call from them. I'm really surprised at some of the low ratings but it all sounds like insurance issues and unfortunately we all know insurance companies are the devil. As far as the facility itself, the practice is very reliable, efficient, and clean. They called me to remind me of the need to make my annual appointment. It doesn't take long at all to get in and the ladies working there are always welcoming and super easy to deal with. While I've typically had a positive experience here, today was very disappointing. There was ZERO COVID19 screening. I was not asked any screening questions as I have been at other medical facilities, the waiting room was crowded, there was no temp check, and one of the three staff members I had interaction with had a flimsy medical mask that would not stay on her face. Staff was also wearing street clothes with unbuttoned medical jackets (so I assume they have been wearing these clothes all day while exposed to other patients). I left feeling very anxious at the lack of measures to protect staff and patients. I feel at risk because this facility failed to follow County guidelines. Regarding the practice, I feel I'm always forced into getting an ultrasound, too, even though my doctor didn't order it and my insurance won't pay for it. DO NOT go here, I had to put 1 star but this place deserves negative stars. I had been going here for my annual mammograms for years with no issue. Then they sold the practice and it's gone downhill ever since. They sent me multiple bills from 2017 & 2018 in 2022, when I call to understand why I received a bill when I had never had to pay out of pocket previously they stated the previous billing was incorrect but no explanation. I had referred multiple people previously and we are all getting these late billing notices. They even sent my friend to collections. I have since gone elsewhere that is credible, professional, and doesn't try to cheat me out of money for legitimate insurance covered screening.
