Quality service from a quality man! My boyfriend and I were snowboarding when we realized we had lost our car keys. It was too late in the day for service, but we called anyways to see what our options were. Bob was very responsive and gave us detailed instructions for how he can proceed to help us in the morning. Bob is an amazing guy! Everybody in town knows him. We lost out rental car key, the only option rental company would offer us was to toll 200miles to some dealership which would cost thousands of dollar as well as ruin our entire vacation. We called bob and he went to the rental company and explain the situation to them, finally got their approval to remake the key. After an hour or so we got our engine started and back on road again. Bob is an actual magician. I lost my car keys on the slopes at June Mountain and despite roadblocks from a downed Honda dealership database, Bob was able to look at a photo of my spare key and divine how to recreate it in his van, mountainside. He was then able to electronically chip it correctly and we were able to get on the road with enough time to hit the hot springs on our way home. I called Mammoth Lock and Key to see if they were able to make some keys for my Thule cargo box. I got a call back within 15 minutes and was able to meet up within just a couple hours (keep in mind, this was is no way an emergency or time concerning request). I texted over a picture of the lock. The key was already made by the time I pulled up to our meeting spot. We tested it really quickly and he made me a spare within a minute or two. It only cost me $16 for both keys and was the most convenient service! I can't even describe the process I was imagining (taking the cargo box off, leaving it for a few hours, paying $50-$100, etc etc). I don't actually write yelp reviews (this is my first ever), but am very impressed and stoked with Mammoth Lock and Key. This company is AMAZING! If I could give it 100 stars I would! My husband, 3 year old son and I were towing our trailer and parked at at campground to come to find out we couldn't get into the trailer because the deadbolt wouldnt unlatch. We spent over an hour with tools and WD-40 and nothing worked at midnight. We slept in our truck overnight and tried to stop at hardware stores to get a new key thinking that was the issue. We decided to continue on in our journey and make it to our destination and thought as a last resort to call a locksmith. We ended up googling the wrong locksmith we initially called but stumbled upon their company van. The gentleman which I forgot to catch his name in 2s was able to get us in!
