Our initial contact with Mammoth Restauration was with Corey, but he left a couple of young irresponsible, careless, lazy, inexperience guys in charge, Emir as a Supervisor and Bruno as his next one in charge of directing the job at our home. We did not see Emir, the supervisor for the next two days and Bruno was in charge until things got out of control. During the first cleaning day, Bruno left the cleaning crew by themselves in our property. They did nothing but fooling around, leaving empty cans of soda all around the house, and did not do a very effective cleaning job at all. We found them alone in the property twice while Bruno was doing other jobs. They even used some of our cleaning supplies and drank our sodas. They broke many items and attempted to cover up the damage. We found several items missing and literally we needed to purchase them again in order to complete some projects around the house. They even transfer the soot contamination from inside the house to the back of the house by leaving the shades on top of our grill. Mammoth did give us a couple of gift cards, but they could not cover all the missing and or damage item. We complained to Bruno, about the lack of professionalism of the cleaning crew and he got upset, they were literally bossing him around. What can we say about Mammoth Restauration - Doylestown? Mammoth stole from a house where a disabled little boy lives Let's get the good stuff out of the way; Alex the damage mitigation man who first showed up was kind, considerate, helpful. He got the right equipment, and was very thorough in his work. He was available via text and phone any time we had questions. He made such a good impression on us for the damage mitigation, we went with Mammoth to do the restoration work. This was a mistake. Our 2 year-old son was using a ventilator to live. Displacing him to a different house was extremely difficult. Mammoth advised they would store all of our items in a storage area until they finished fixing our upstairs floors for water damage. They did not. They brought everything down into the living room, did not create a proper seal between upstairs and downstairs, and as a result, the flooring dust covered all of the items they said they would safely store away. This included my ventilator supported son's furniture. We needed ServPro to come in and clean it all up. They didn't bother moving his spare medication out of his room either before tearing up, installing and finishing hardwood floors. Just taped some plastic on the shelves. Bad seal; dust all over the medicine of a boy who has severe breathing issues. Delay after delay after delay. No good explanations; would only tell us they thought their subcontractor was coming that day. No other explanations given. Never felt that we were important to Mammoth. Never got a sense of urgency from them. They only finally moved quickly after I told Dave, the branch manager that I was going to write a bad review because of everything that had happened so far. I should have expressed my frustrations sooner when talking to Dave. I relied on Andrew to take better care of things, and he really did not address our myriad issues. We had an alarm system and asked Mammoth to contact us if they had any contractors coming in over a holiday. They said no one would work on a holiday. Contractors came in anyway, set off the alarm, and the alarm contacted the police. They sent me to my house saying contractors were there, and needed my approval for staining the floor. Took time out of work and drove back to my house. There was no sign of any contractor. Here's the kicker; after I moved back, I noticed things were missing from the house. Nothing too expensive, but extremely troubling nevertheless. No other company, service, insurance employee, family member or neighbor was in my house during this time. No one was in that house except for Mammoth and subcontractors of Mammoth. Contacted Mammoth; the owner apologized and reimbursed us for the items that were taken during the time Mammoth worked on the house. My homeowners' insurance company said these things happen sometime when a company uses subcontractors (which Mammoth did at the time. Not sure about now). Found cigarettes in our kitchen. Once again, my son needs a machine to breath and live. Mammoth was well aware of this. Noticed well after we moved back into the house that a black fireproof lock box we stored in our house was also missing. This box had the social security cards and birth certificates of my twin sons. I guess someone from Mammoth liked that box, too. We had the final inspection rescheduled three times, and the last time was a rush job due to scheduling of their jobs. Sure, we signed a certificate of completion. We were told that they would start to bill us if we didn't. Any positive feedback we gave would have been reflective of Alex and the damage mitigation. Because we were rushed through the final inspection process, we noticed things that were wrong or incorrect after we signed the certificate of completion. After two or three mistakes, Dave the branch manager tells me that "we're done after this." He was referring to a mistake we found in the bathroom. Although at first he seemed like he wanted to help and was supportive, he then turned irritated over the phone when we found mistakes post inspection. Sorry; our lives were turned upside down by flooding and being displaced from July 4th through October. We were going to miss a few things on a very brisk walkthrough. I can't tell you the feeling of what it is like when something you knew was on a shelf or in a drawer for years is now missing. And you will forever doubt yourself and wonder if you seriously misplaced something you haven't touched in years, or if someone from Mammoth liked it and took it from your home. read more

Do not contract with this company. When water from our bathroom started leaking through our kitchen ceiling we called a local plumber. That plumber recommended Mammoth, and with water on the kitchen floor I agreed to meet them based on the plumber's recommendation. My first mistake. When Mammoth arrived and gave me an Emergency Services contract to sign, they suggested that the "mold was bad" and I should act immediately. I signed--my second mistake. (I learned later that contract may have been in violation of the PA Consumer law). Next I received a call from my insurance adjuster suggesting that Mammoth might be over-billing me, and that I should get the many drying, air circulation and other machines out of my house, because excessive billing was not going to be covered. I removed the machines. My last mistake was thinking that Mammoth could handle fairly the kitchen ceiling patch and paint before our annual holiday party in 15 days. We had two large holes in out kitchen ceiling and 40 people coming. After repeated calls Mammoth finally agreed to a start date the week of the party, but then called the night before and added $1000 to the estimate. (nothing like gauging homeowners in the spirit of Christmas). After another fight the $1000 demand was retracted but the painters that showed up were simply awful. We hired another contractor to fix our kitchen. When the remediation stage was finally complete and I received an invoice, Mammoth tried to tax me at 8% (PA is 6%) and bill me for emergency services I did not receive. Another fight. (Mammoth admitted to the 8% tax, suggesting it was "part of their billing software," and changed it back to 6%). It occurred to me that this might also fall outside the PA consumer law, but I just wanted to be done with Mammoth. This was my first experience with all this and I learned a great deal. read more

I've never needed a restoration company before and hope I never will again, however, if i do I'm calling Mammoth! I cannot say enough nice things about them. They were so professional, courteous, explained everything to us about what they were going to do and how, the timing involved, and the list goes on! My husband and I always felt very comfortable with them in our home. If I could give them more then 5 stars I surely would! read more

Horrible experience. It's been over 2 weeks since they came out originally and tore entire home apart and said they would come back and now 2 weeks down the line nothing and still told another week till they will show back up. Left me and 3 kids living in crap literally. Left black mold here all over concrete after they ripped up the carpet. Left dirt all over because they did not cover anything but an excercise bike and desk. The desk of which had a screw jammed into the side of it to hold up the drop cloth! That was ridiculous and disrespectful. Then lied and said he never did that. Left tac strips all over floor edges around entire downstairs with out new lovely concrete floor with 2 year olds running around. Even a huge one right at front door so we can constantly trip over it and get hurt. They also Put my heat sky high on for days at my expense when I was in a hotel while they were using blowers to dry my home out. Left window open with heat I'm now paying for going right out of it and bugs coming in (opened window to shove cable wire outside to rip up floor and left it like that. When bathroom floor was addressed the entire bathroom left in complete filth wood chips and splinter chips everywhere. Also nails and staples sticking out all over in which they did came back a week later to pick out after we got nails and splinters in the kids feet. No apologies of course! Never put down a temporary floor (even though they knew small children r living in the home) but was told to use our towels and rugs on the nasty wood planks they left us with so we don't get that wet (lol). Still 2 weeks of living in crap and was told another week till they get out here to complete work. Horrible company. Glad I took pics of anything. Just message me and I'll show ya!!!! read more

Mammoth acts last me they are doing right by you! Beware! Call references if they have any do not trust that your neighbor called them so they are a good choice! They completely overcharged and did not remediate the whole basement they charged for let mess and unusable space in hazardous conditions with sump pump pipes moved in the chainsaw massacre they used to take out wood floor.
