I have used other cleaning services before and most of them just want to get in and out and to the next job, however, Showcase is different in that they take their time cleaning carpets thoroughly. You can see that by the rate in which they move their steam cleaning wand--its as though they want to get every minute bit of dirt and dust extracted out of the fibers. Its sometimes funny to watch Loren and Dave beam with delight when they tackle a particularly tough job, like mine a few weeks ago--my dog passed away recently but had severe incontinence--there were stains all over my light beige carpet. It's all gone now! I would highly recommend Showcase and their team--especially if you are fastidious about immaculate carpets.

Our realtor recommended GAC Painting. We were pleased with the results. My wife made an appointment for an evaluation of our situation and Greg, the owner, personally handled the job. Throughout the process, she said he was on-time, reasonable, thorough and very prompt in replying to calls and texts. That last item is something most businesses really need to improve. Greg painted the baseboards, front door and parts of walls beyond the scope of a Magic Eraser. He also does repair work and tackled such things as rehanging a door, removing window curtains, upgrading the appearance of our kitchen sink, unclogging a bathroom drain and re-caulking toilets and bathtubs. After his work was done, we noticed small swatches of darker colors on some of our walls. Greg returned, determined it was due to new paint on walls with original paint from 14 years ago and tried his best to better match old and new. He did not ask for an extra charge. GAC Painting met our criteria for doing a very good job: - Arrived on time - Did the work with a minimum of fuss and delay - Nice guy - Kept in touch with us and replied promptly - Cleaned up - Charged a reasonable price There was one possible item for improvement. Areas which needed a touch-up, such as lower parts of door frames, were not done...even though they were adjacent to newly painted baseboards. They had a good couple ratings so I decided to give them a call. Mr. Choung was very polite and helpful. He said he could come look at the house for me as soon as the next day. He came the next day for the estimate and was early. He gave me a call about 5 minutes before the scheduled time and let me know that he was here. I met him outside and took him inside to show him where it needed to be painted. He was very nice and didn't rush me. He told me different options on how he would paint the interior as well as his opinion on the colors. He let me know his opinions but didn't force them on me and said whichever color I chose would be fine. After he was done looking around, he said he would send me an email later that day and indeed I got an email from him right after dinner. The email had a very detailed invoice attached that described exactly what he was charging me for and how long it would take. I was surprised at how prompt he was. After he left, I had a couple of other estimates done to see how different the price range was. The other painters were also not as open-minded and seemed like they just wanted to finish the estimate. Only after then did I realize that his price was the best for me. When he came for the job, he brought a crew of about 3-4 people (changed depending on the day). They were all very friendly and listened if I had something to say or ask.
