I LOVE Marina! Been coming to this place for years just for her. The deep tissue work she can do is amazing! Her thumbs are like magic ugh. She really knows how to get those knots out! She knows EXACTLY what's hurting without me ever telling her and targets the pain areas before I leave. I have chronic back and neck problems and now the pain is even in my knees and my biweekly massages help SO SO much! I ended up purchasing a package to save some money. 5 massages for the price of 3 is a steal, especially if it's something you need on the regular. Before the package, I used to go on Tuesdays during their special massage discount but I needed Marina on my Saturday mornings to make the difference in my weekend. Anyway! I bought a groupon for a 60 minute massage. I first walked into the salon and saw it was very clean and very sheek. The staff was very kind and welcoming. My massage was by Marina. She was great! You could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and she was very passionate about her job. My one (not real) issue was the music they plaid during my massage. It honestly reminded me of that scene from the sex and the city movie, on New Year's Eve when they played the montage of Carrie making her way to Marandas house lol it was a bit distracting however not that big of a deal. I love Elvira who gives a fantastic massage. Here's the issue...BEWARE OF THEIR PRICING, when I called to make the appointment, I specifically discussed the pricing for a one-hour massage promo for Tuesdays & Thursday on their website to be $60. The technician/receptionist confirmed the price on their website was correct; $60 massage promo on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A haircut $80 if I schedule with Giovanni. I decided to just do the massage and booked for Thursday @ 3pm with Elvira. When paying my bill, I was presented with a $70 charge for massage plus tax. I questioned why the price change when quoted $60 & per their website it clearly states $60. The response was poor to say the least. I was advised that the website was old and not updated and that it hasn't been $60 for some time. That may be a reason but NO EXCUSE for overcharging a client when quoted a price. I am a licensed hairdresser and been in the business myself as stylist, manager & owner. GET IT STRAIGHT MANCINI GIUFFRE. I stopped in for a blowdry this past Sunday. I'm giving this salon 3 stars because even though my stylist and the apprentice where amazing, the welcoming and reception was not! As soon as I walked through the door I heard cursing coming from the reception desk. I check in and I was told to sit down never asked If I wanted a coffee or water.. HELLO!? I found a Groupon deal of $42 to get a $95 worth of 60-minute signature massage, so I came here for the first time to give it a try to help sooth the soreness in my body. I am so pleased by my decision! This place looked elegant and clean, and it smelled good and fresh. The salon area looked fancy, and the massage room looked very relaxing and clean. Marina did my massage. Her hands were super soft, and she was very friendly and very good at her work. The rubbing she did on me was perfect and surely helped to loosen up my tight muscle. The massage bed was heated, so it added extra effect of relaxing my body. There is even a shower in the massage room, for guests to rinse off after a body scrub. I purchased a GROUPON for a facial and massage. I have been here before for my hair but never the SPA part. The receptionist in the front was really sweet and I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes until I started my massage. Marina was an absolute sweetheart, she was fantastic! Loved her techniques, she was so gentle but good at the same time. I explained to her how I tend to bruise easily from massages and they can hurt me even though its not too deep and she totally understood and did a great job. She told me how good for the body and soul a massage is and how I should always take care of myself and getting massages is not just a nice gift for myself but will make me feel better everyday and she's right. After I got my facial with Galinda and she was great, funny but serious at the same time. She was educating me on my skin and what products and treatments I do for my face, she went thru every step with me on what she was doing and what I should do at home. I really enjoyed it, she extracted did a great glycolic acid peel which was extra but recommended due to my acne scarring and I had always heard that from others to try. She referred me a great organic toner and gave me a little routine I should do. I loved both experiences and have already booked my next appointment! I gave it one less star because I wish they would just update the SPA area, the rooms are very clean and private but I dislike how you have to exit the SPA area to use the restroom in the main salon area while your in a robe and all. Wish there was also a private small waiting area with maybe snacks, teas, water and some nice aromatherapy music while you wait and relaxing you for your ME time. Also you can hear the music and even people conversations in the salon area while your getting pampered. Came here as part of a bridal party for my cousins wedding. I got an updo and my makeup done. The updo came out nothing like what I asked. If I would show you the picture of what I asked for and how my hair actually came out you would laugh. What I asked for was very loose and natural. My hair was super tight and hair sprayed to no end. If the stylist couldn't replicate what I asked she should have expressed that. My makeup came out okay. Nothing spectacular. One thing that did bother me was that I asked for two layers of foundation. That is how I do my own makeup when I go to an event. The girl said she doesn't do it that way because it looks cakey. I told her I didn't care. She still didn't do what I asked. I didn't want to complain that day because it was more about my cousin and her wedding then me liking my hair. I won't be back. read more

I made an appointment and he is almost the only person i let touch my hair now. he moved to this salon so now this is where i go. It is a huge bright open space always full of people. Very clean and only there for maybe a year or so. It is a little more pricey than id normally like but everyone here is so good with hair. I made an appointment at this salon to have my hair and make up done for my baby shower because it is the only upscale salon in the neighborhood I just moved into. I didn't know what to expect. The receptionist was pleasant and I had no problem making the appointment. I liked that they did not ask for a credit card to reserve the reservation. While I have no problem providing a credit card if a salon asks for it, it does make them seem desperate to ask. When I arrived, I was very impressed with the beauty of the salon. It bright, clean and open. I was offered a cappuccino, coffee, tea or water, and efficiently whisked away to have my hair washed with the most heavenly smelling products I have ever encountered. Christina was my make up artist and Anna did my hair. Both were extremely courteous and professional and did a great job and listened to my directions and executed what I wanted perfectly. They are highly recommended. My hair and make up lasted ALL DAY and I might add it was a very hot and humid day. When it came time to pay, there were no surprises. Pretentious little place that's all show and very little talent. Went there on an Amazon voucher for a massage. I had high expectations but piss poor results. Had a 3pm appointment that the masseuse kept me waiting for 15 minutes. Took me to an ice cold back room and attempted to make feeble conversation when all I wanted was a massage. Paid for 60 minutes but received 40 minutes that was mediocre at best. The mob wife wanna be at the front desk had the nerve to ask for $1.76 tax that Amazon did not collect. I went to Mancini Giuffre to get my hair and makeup done for my role as a bridesmaid at a wedding. I had called 2 weeks in advance to book my 9am hair appointment with Stephanie and was instructed by the front desk that it was "imperative I arrive with my hair washed and blown out and ready to go". At that time, I had also scheduled my make up appointment and an appointment with Stephanie for my sister "right after my appointment" and my mother had scheduled a hair appointment with anyone available at 12:30 unless they could squeeze her in earlier. As instructed, I arrived 7 minutes prior to my appointment, checked in with the front desk and brought over to sit in a stylists chair and told I would be prepped for a wash and dry. I told the girl that I had already washed and dried my hair that morning as instructed by the front desk upon scheduling my appointment. She seemed a bit bewildered and went to confirm with the front desk, came back and said, "Okay someone will be with you" and sit I did for about 15-20 minutes while I was asked if I wanted a cup of tea or coffee. The girl at the front desk had come back and forth to confirm my appointment and what I was told upon scheduling appointments for myself, my sister and my mother that day. Turned out, Stephanie who I originally wanted to do my hair was booked and I was sent to another stylist for my hair. At this point I was a bit annoyed by the miscommunication among the front desk and staff, not knowing what was going on/scheduling hiccups and was in a time crunch to be ready for the bride's house. I was a bit nervous because I did not know or hear about the girl's work but had no choice in the 2 hours I had to get ready. I sat back and let the stylist curl and set both my hair and extensions while I sat with another bridesmaid and her sister who happened to have bumped into who were getting their hair done too. Although I was sure to be very vocal about what I was hoping to achieve, my stylist listened, asked questions, and offered suggestions/options which I appreciated. Melissa did my makeup and she was awesome. Personable, talented and made me up feeling like a million bucks. Lucky for me, Stephanie came over to braid me and apologized for the confusion and miscommunication with the front desk which I appreciated and know she must be in high demand because that girl can do hair awesome. I was then passed to my original stylist who made some finishing touch ups and off I went to be at my bride's beck and call feeling FABULOUS. I'm really torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one. When I call in advance to make and confirm an appointment with a certain stylist, I do not want to be pushed onto someone else last minute when I arrive at the salon. It would be one thing if I had made an appointment for whoever but I DID NOT. So 3 stars for the scheduling crap and being left to wait having no idea what is going on. Also, Mancini can be a bit pricy (Hair and makeup came to about $188+tip). Despite the price, I was counting my lucky stars that I was satisfied with the finished product despite having someone I did not know or intentionally make an appointment with. I won't focus on the "what ifs" (i.e. what if i was charged $188 for a hairstyle I was not satisfied with AFTER I was pushed onto a styist I had not intentionally made an appointment with. Yea probably would have DIED) So instead, I'll choose to focus on the positives: the work of my stylist, braiding by Stephanie and makeup by Melissa. Tip: Just call in advance and confirm details in case they pull a switcheroo on you too. read more

I've always had trouble finding a solid hair salon with friendly staff, good prices, and impressive services. Mancini Giuffré is all of those things! It is a beautiful, spacious salon--very clean, nicely decorated, and modern. There are many ladies working so it wasn't too difficult getting an appointment for a haircut only a few days in advance. Since I had never been there before I wasn't sure who to ask for so I let the woman giving me the appointment decide. I wound up with Lydia and I am so happy I did! She was sweet, professional, talented, and honest. She showed me exactly how much she would cut off and didn't try to convince me to get more off (I feel like many other salons do this and it always made me stay away from getting haircuts). Lydia was easy to talk to, offered advice for protecting my hair, but didn't try to sell me on any of the products in the salon which I thought was great (I always get swayed into buying something extra). Where do I even start... I went to this salon for me and my husband to get massages, separately. We wanted the separate time to relax on our own. However, this was our first time visiting this salon so when I booked the massage they failed to make me aware that there was only one masseuse so we would have to wait for one another instead of getting massages at the same time. However, the worst part about our visit was the masseuse we had, Marina. After her spending 25 minutes to talk about massages and our health, pretty much to sell the next level massage which was not worth it, and completely making us uncomfortable, we got stripped of that time since it clearly was included in the hour we had paid for. And she continued to talk to me after my massage for another 5 minutes. And I still had 5 minutes to make the full hour from when I entered the room. Therefore, our hour massage couldn't have been more than 25 minutes. Marina really tried her best to cover up the fact that she wasn't giving me and my husband a full hour massage. Review is for the spa only. Bought a Groupon for a massage and facial. Massage was good and relaxing; she had nice technique. The massage room is very nice, but you can hear things going on in the strip mall. I don't think the noise I was hearing was from the salon, rather neighboring shops or from behind the strip mall... so it's nothing the spa can do about it. Also, when the massage therapist came for me, she didn't tell me her name. She didn't ask what areas I would like worked on or if I had any injuries or allergies. I've never had a massage where they didn't ask me those things. She just said hello and had me follow her in. That was okay with me, but a little odd. I would recommend the massage. The facial was disappointing. I kid you not, the time she spent in the room with me was about 20 minutes, if not less. Now I know there is a lot of down time during a facial... while you get steamed, while a face mask sets and so on. But everywhere I've been before, the esthetician will give you a neck/shoulder/hand massage during these down times except for 5-10 minutes when they excuse themselves from the room to put aside product recommendations. And the time she spent doing the steps was done in about half the time it typically takes. Which all lead to her barely being in the room. The extractions that were done, were well done, but when I got outside I could see a lot that were missed. I didn't leave with that facial "glow" and fresh face feeling you usually have.
