My husband and I had such an awesome experience with Devi at Mancini's Sleepworld that I had to leave a review. From the moment we walked in, Devi was so so welcoming, patient, and actually listened to what we needed. We told her we were on a budget, sleep preferences, and talked about what firmness we wanted. We knew we wanted the Lux Estate but after laying on the soft, it was just a tad too soft for us so Devi explained she could order us the medium and it would be perfect. What really stood out was that there was zero pressure. We were given plenty of time to lay on the mattress, compare feel of pillows, and ask a million questions. Devi was very knowledgeable about materials, warranties, return policies, pillows, everything and she answered every question honestly, which made us feel so comfortable. We ended up choosing the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate medium in a king and got two free pillows, and we could not be happier! If you're shopping for a mattress, do yourself a favor and ask for Devi at Mancini's Sleepworld in Livermore. I worked in sales so I know from experience that it's rare to get that combination of knowledge, patience, and kindness these days, and Devi absolutely deserve recognition for it. We purchased a bed because of the comfort guarantee and were told at the time of purchase that we would receive a full refund if it didn't work out. After two months, we found the mattress to be very uncomfortable and decided to return it. Unfortunately, we did not receive the full refund we were led to expect. My advice is to read all the fine print carefully before purchasing, as the terms of the comfort guarantee were not what we believed they were. When I returned to the store to discuss the issue, the only employee on duty was asleep on one of the display beds and was snoring. I went to another store a few doors down and came back about 15 minutes later, and he was still asleep. I had to wake him up, and instead of an apology, I was met with a bit of attitude. Our original plan was to exchange the mattress for a different one at this store, but after this disappointing experience, we decided to take our business elsewhere. I'm not a fan of sparkling water, so I took the Free water. I wish they had Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Beer. But, it's a mattress store. John was AWESOME. My friend has been going on and on about some purple pillow for a while now, and how much i had to try one! We happen to walk past this location after getting lunch and noticed the purple pillow in the window so we decided to step in so i could try it! I quickly helped myself to check it out, and Daniel was immediately there asking what I was looking for and if I had any questions he could help with. He was awesome in answering all questions I had and not only being knowledgeable but very friendly as well. (Since i already helped myself to trying it out). I appreciated him not trying to just sales me up! He was super helpful and I wanted that damn pillow! He helped me accomplish getting it into my bed, and for that I am forever thankful. We visited their newer location in Livermore. This store is big! There were several mattresses to chose from. We also wanted adjustable bases, and there are even a few of those to choose from. Daniel James was extremely helpful! It was a relaxing, no pressure experience. So many choices!
