The quality of service never waivers here. I purchased a Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Medium mattress in April of this year. I loved the mattress. However, my sinuses didn't love the memory foam. I called the store, and spoke with Jerome. He was super nice and willing to accommodate the return. He told me to come on in, and he would be waiting. When I arrived Jerome greeted me with a huge smile. He was knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns. He selected two mattresses for me to try. The first one I laid on was perfect. It was the Aireloom Trinity Medium made with all organic materials. I chose this because of my sinuses. It is an excellent choice. A lot of businesses offer exchanges and usually the exchange is a hassle. Not here. They stand by their words and guarantees. Jerome helped me with the same enthusiasm I received when I purchased the previous mattress I returned. The price is steep, but well worth it because of the quality and guarantee. Mattress Warranty is a total scam. We bought the mattress protector that is required for warranty but they still say they won't warranty the 2 inch dip in the mattress because there is a tiny stain. We kept mattress protector on at all times. Each time they came out to measure the dip they have a new excuse to not replace under warranty. Maybe all mattress stores are the same but a major factor in buying from Mancini was the warranty. If you're considering buying a mattress with a warranty you may wish to bypass Mancini's as it is impossible to get your mattress replaced even when you follow all their guidelines. read more

I had a great non salesy experience here. The store is clean and carries a good selection of mattresses. First, My plan was to only stop in for 5 minutes. I did some shopping around and knew what I needed but hadn't found luck in a firm hybrids. He is someone who takes great pride in standing behind the products he sells. Let me tell you my story to illustrate what I mean... My wife and I purchased a Stearns & Foster mattress 5 years ago at the Mancini's in Dublin. I have been a practicing Chiropractor here in Danville for 34 years, and so I wanted a quality mattress that would support my spine well and allow me to keep doing what I love to do, so we paid about $4,000 for the bed all told. Within 3 months, the S&F mattress began to sag and form a depression where I was sleeping. We called the Dublin store and they sent someone from their third party testing company to do the "string test" - a ridiculous test where they stretch a string across the top of your mattress while no one is laying on it, and if there is less than 3/4" of space between your mattress and the string that is considered "normal" wear. Well the mattress looked great when I wasn't laying on it, the problem occurred when I was actually laying on it and it did not support me!!! We got a letter in the mail a few days later that said essentially "Sorry, that is normal wear and you are stuck with that mattress". The sagging continued to get worse and worse to the point that a "hill" had developed between my wife and I that was difficult to climb over if I wanted to go visit her side of the bed!!! Long story short, for the past 5 years we have been fighting with Sleepworld and Sealy (who owns S&F), including doing another "string test" about a year ago, and they have kept passing the buck back and forth. I couldn't sleep on the mattress for the past year or so as it messed up my back, so I was sleeping downstairs in our guest bed - not good for our marital relationship. Finally, after shopping at Whole Foods a few Sundays ago, I decided to pop into the San Ramon Sleepworld location and see if I could at least get a credit of some kind to buy a new mattress and throw this one in the trash where it belonged. Fortunately, Erik Hendrickson walked up to us and heard my story, bless his heart. He showed us around and told us he could do something to try to make it right for us, and we liked the Tempur-pedic bed. He wrote us an estimate for around $6,400, which included an adjustable base. He said he couldn't discount the Tempur-pedics because they had an agreement with the manufacturer or something. My wife and I said "thanks" and left the store, heading out to Macy's Stoneridge to shop for a bed there. About 15 minutes after we left, Erik called me and said he had called Sealy and told them my 5 year long story, and that they were going to give us a FULL CREDIT for the mattress we had bought 5 years prior. He really went the extra mile for us to get this done, and I am so thankful we met him. We decided to pay up for the adjustable frame since we got that $4,000 credit, and we love our new Tempur-pedic bed!
