As the process went on I suggested since my husband really likes the higher priced mattress that we should put our 2021 mattress firm purchase in our new travel trailer and place the new purchase in our bedroom. Just makes sense to really enjoy the new purchase more in our room more often and still have comfort with our previous purchase used less often in the travel trailer. It was nice to get input from both Anya and Miqul as well as patience in making a large purchase. We had such good results back in 2021 we had no reason to shop anywhere else so we definitely returned. I'll add to this review once we see how this mattress works out for us once we get to sleep on it. For now kudos to Mattress Firm for having such wonderful employees.

We went to Vacaville and met with Leroy, and he walked us through the whole experience of what Sleep Number is and how it can benefit us. After some deliberation, we decided to get one, and we have not regretted it. Recently, we returned. Leroy is still there, thank goodness, and we added the Dual Temp Control for my wife as she has temperature sensitivity issues, and that too has been an enormous help with her sleep as she can control the warmth or coolness of the bed depending on how she feels. Sleep Number Vacaville is worth the time, and Leroy makes all the easier to find out what we need.

It's easy and quick to get to off Interstate 80. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. No hard selling and following eyes. The showroom is beautifully staged and customers are encouraged to sit n test. The square footage is impressive. Lots of inventory.- bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and office furniture; lighting, bedding, rugs, and art/home decor. One side is the showroom that had "final as is" furniture sales including home decor items (art work, vases, figurines, etc). On my last visit, they had bird figurines marked $5.

He took time to listen to us about what we were looking for and suggested starting with three different mattress brands. We spent a lot of time trying out various beds, and at the end of the day, compromised between us. I wanted something softer, my partner wanted more firm. So we settled in the middle and put in our order. Akin was very responsive and patient. He kept us in the loop about delivery and dates. When the day came, he and his assistant made the delivery, and set everything up. After sleeping on the bed few weeks, it seemed more firm than we wanted, so we gave Akin a call. He was very gracious, as always, and we agreed to test the bed for several more weeks. Ultimately, we did decide to exchange the bed and frame (which we had only seen in a catalog). Akin was great. We went back to the store and chose a bed that we thought would be better for us. Akin was wonderful and made the whole transaction seamless, and even figured out how to make a few adjustments to our order to save money. We are beyond thrilled with the bed and frame now. Akin went above and beyond to make sure we were happy sleepers. I highly recommend Mattress Barn!

I ended up buying the first mattress that he had me try and my daughter bought the second. For her it was a hard choice. We also ended up getting pillows that have been a godsend. The first night we slept on our new mattresses with our new pillows was a night from heaven. My 30 pound dog loves making the bed with me and the cat sleeps all day on my daughter's bed with his toy. We ordered new mattress protecters through your store and are thrilled with their performance. Can't say enough good things about Rick and the store. He instantly knew what to show us that would meet our needs. He is very friendly and professional at the same time (hard to find anymore). I wish I could deal with him for everything I buy. I was in desperate need of a new couch last year, and after shopping for several days, we happened…read moreupon Home Life Furnishings & got a great deal on a reclining sectional that comfortably seats five people. One key detail to this whole saga is that this sectional my spouse & I agreed on was on the floor Sunday, but was gone by Thursday when I went in to purchase it. Since it was the only couch we really agreed on, I decided to go ahead & special order it, which took about two weeks to arrive to our house. I had no problem placing a special order (which, on the invoice, states in the fine print that there are no refunds on special orders. However, I was told there was a 5-year warranty. In retrospect, I should have clarified with the salesman I spoke to what all is included in the warranty.). I bought this sectional August 2023 and within 3-4 months, around Thanksgiving 2023, one of the power sectionals stopped working & the handle to the manually reclining seat broke. Each seat on the sectional hooks into its neighboring seat with bolts. The bolts kept coming apart when we would sit down on the couch with slightly more force than normal. After several phone calls back & forth, we were able to schedule a date for someone to come take a look at the issues we were having. One of the men who delivered & assembled the sectional in August came by, and was friendly & helpful. Home Life ordered the parts we needed & the couch was better by January 2024. I say "better" because it was still not 100%, mostly due to the bolts coming apart over & over again, but we lived with it. It's now August 2024, and earlier this week, the handle to the manual reclining seat broke again, but this time is quite literally coming apart. One of the wires from inside the handle was sticking out between the cracks of the seats, cutting my thigh when I was wearing shorts & sat down on the couch next to my son. I'm thankful it cut me, not him! I called & asked to speak to customer service today, knowing I would not get a full refund since my sectional was a special order. The woman I spoke to was very friendly, but told me there's nothing they can do aside from scheduling a handyman to come out & take a look at it. I explained to her the couch is almost unusable at this point, and while I understand it's not her fault or Home Life's fault, the manufacturer should know they make crappy furniture. She apologized, told me a refund is not an option, and asked if I wanted to move forward scheduling someone to come out & take a look at it. I declined, and told her we would be looking elsewhere for a new couch. I am giving 2 stars for customer service, but the quality of this furniture is unacceptable. I am now out $1900 and am on the hunt for a new couch that won't hurt my family. It's a shame there isn't a better policy for special orders.

I purchased 2 home entertainment sets, a sectional, and sofa love seat combo June 2024. Delivery of…read moremost of these items were in July. Within maybe 3-4 months the sectional started peeling. When I reached out to David at HomeLife Furnishing he said the manufacture had a one year warranty on the sectional but that only the pieces of the couch that were peeling would be replaced. At that time I had requested to return the couch because I figured the peeling would continue but David said that couldn't be done. So instead, 2 pieces of the sectional were replaced. Fast forward, we have had the sectional for 1 year and 3 months and it is still peeling. The sofa/love seat we purchased is the same material as the sectional but I did not have the same issue. The sofa/love seat gets plenty of traction but so far I haven't seen any sort of cracking or peeling. After spending almost $7K in the store I am really disappointed in the quality and the lack of customer service to address the sectional. I definitely understand quality has certainly changed throughout the years and nothing lasts forever, but I shouldn't have to replace my sectional after only having it for a year! $1600 plus down the drain.
