I want to give a shout out to the delivery driver Marvin and his assistant (sorry I didn't get his name) they were so careful in the process of getting the fridge from the street through the bare dirt backyard. Once in the house they were very respectful of the brand new flooring and the fit into the fridge space. Other things in the day did not go so well, but this was a welcome relief to have it done with such care and respect. I bought a dishwasher 10 months ago. Stopped working and called Pearson's since still under warranty. They set a repair appointment but I needed the original sales slip. Pearson's said they would supply the copy 2 weeks ago. Now the repair service will not come since I don't have a copy of the sales. Pearson's will not respond to my multiple phone calls. We have bought appliances from Pearsons for over 40 years. Recently it was a washer and dryer. Gustavo was very helpful in informing us the best ones for what we needed. The delivery guys were efficient and fast. They were shocked when my husband gave each a tip...means that more people should. The only thing I wish we had asked or been asked was to have the door open from the right side. I have normally had good ratings for Pearsons, so this one is out of character a little, but still happened. I am a Davis Custom Home Builder. I have a customer, who in completing a City of Davis re-sale inspection, discovered that a "Frigidaire Electric Range" purchased and installed by Pearsons Appliance about 10 years ago was installed without an "anti-tip device". This little item is required by local code. The liability concerns alone warranted a follow up phone call to ensure future homeonwer is safe. I was told flat out that they would NOT be coming out to install/ warranty this. That "they are only $11.00 on line, you can do it yourself". My customer was charged $250.00 in 2014 for this install, seems to me it should have been installed correctly? I was told the home has a slab floor, so they dont install the devices. Really? The devices can be adhered to either the floor or the bottom plate of the framed wall, so no excuse! I would caution those who purchase appliances here, to hire a third party to inspect any appliance installed by Peasons so that your loved ones arent unintentionally injured by a tipping range! After two unsuccessful tries at another store (Lowes), I finally came to my senses and went back to Pearson's Appliance (after two decades) for help in finding a new refrigerator for an existing space. It wasn't easy -- but Pearson's NAILED IT! Pearson Customer Service Rep Debbie was very tenacious and put in a lot of time to research what we thought was an unsolvable problem. She found the single refrigerator that fit the bill, and was incredibly detail oriented finding the features we wanted. In addition, I love that Pearson has their own trained staff for delivery and install. The delivery guys were careful as they took out our old fridge and put in the new one, and cleaned up after themselves nicely. We finally found a refrigerator that we love and extremely pleased with the service plan and delivery date, of course a different company. STILL NO MICROWAVE We thought we'd shop locally, so went to Pearson's Feb. 28, 2022 and purchased a new microwave/convection oven. Jesse told us it would be delivered "in about 6 weeks". Then it turned into "sometime in May". Then it turned into "sometime in July". We have received NO updates from Jesse, by the way. The information we have been given, however scanty, has been by whomever answers the phone when we call. Jesse is never there. Called this morning and was told he was going to be a little late and left my number for a call back from him. 4 hours later, no call. Lousy service. Have no idea if the appliance we paid for in full 5 months ago is any good, since we have yet to see it, but we are going to get our money back and shop elsewhere. read more

So the wife and I were in the market to purchase an oven, stove top AND dishwasher and decided to try the local businesses. We walked in and saw 4 employees behind the counter on their computers and an employee standing outside of the counter area. No hi, how are you, need help, etc. Wife and I walked the showroom floor discussing models, choosing finishes and not one employee approached us. I stood on the floor to view the counter and looked over there in a, "Hey I need help" look, but all they did was stare back???! I walked closer, 3 of them looked at me with eye to eye contact but said nothing!! Really?? What a joke! How do they expect to sell anything if they're on their computer or just standing there doing nothing, and there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS THERE BUT US! We have bought several appliances through Pearson's. I love buying local and that Pearson's makes purchasing and delivery pretty seamless. Buyers should be aware that installation fees are $250. If you buy a 3 year warranty, and after 2 years your appliance dies (like ours did), they will replace the appliance, but you pay another $250 installation fee & the new appliance has a 1 year warranty. So essentially, it feels like we lost a year of warranty. This happened to us & Pearson's did take $50 off the install. We will be buying from Pearson's in the future, but we do wish there was 100% transparency on the warranty at the time of purchase. read more

purchasing an appliance with pearson appliance in vacaville ca is a nightmare! yes a nightmare. theY are bunch of scammers and liars. company who steals and destroys. july 29, 2020 when their technicians came and install the exhaust hood. before exhaust hood installation the technician didn't informed us that the hood is defective and no manual at all.the two filters were even dinged!(check out photos) and he told us that we better go to home depot to buy and so we can install defective lights. i just recently moved and want new appliance but the so intelligent technician will instruct us and rudely command us what to do. i called pearson store to asked about it. i called 3 times but nobody want to take care of my call telling that everybody is busy. until such time i told them to make sure take the item away of my property within 24 hrs. they made me wait 1 week even looking at their defective appliance made my blood boil so bad! july 29, 2020 they were offering me deduction of $80 like a smart teacher trying to give a candy to a kid. i refuse not because i am mean but because i do not trust their business anymore. the marketing manger (i forgot his name) called me and trying to re-fix me but again i declined. as a customer i have my own principle too. after i denied their request to keep it despite their offer, the marketing manager told me that they will not refund my installation fee since it was already installed. i am fighting my right about it that if only i knew it was defective i will not let the technician to installed it that end up of getting my cabinet side peeled off. july 30, 2020 the pearson store manager called me and informed me that they will full refund me for the said transaction. so we agreed upon that they will return my old hood since they haul it away. they stole my old exhaust hood. but they never returned it. technician came back empty handed without my hood and he said that they "put it in the garbage." and i asked why and he didn't answered and took away their defective hood. today, september 4, 2020 early morning i got call from wells fargo about the recent purchase since pearson has charge me for their defective merchandise. i am now disputing this. this company has put a lot of stress and trouble for me. do not buy here. go somewhere else that worth your money and time. if only i can give zeroooo stars i will. they did not kept their word. alllllll lies and promises. do not set your foot in their store you will regret it!!! read more

I wanted to relate my experience with Pearson's and even though I had difficulty with the product, I have to commend the staff for their perseverance in trying to make it right for me. I ordered a ge French door refrigerator and on delivery it didn't work. Pearson's delivered another and it was dented and scratched. They then delivered another, which was also dented. They then sent an installer out who replaced the dented door. Now, I don't know if GE is having quality control issues or if the delivery process is causing dents and scratches. I suspect it's a combination of the two. I am however, pleased that Pearson's kept on trying and didn't hang me up in a customer service limbo with GE. So currently I'm looking around for a TV stand so I thought I would stop by Vacaville's "Pearsons" that I see so often from the freeway. Immediately after walking in I was not impressed. I didn't like the whole vibe I got from the place. I have to say I was greeted upon walking in which is one of my biggest pet peeves. I like to be greeted. Walking in all you see is a bunch of appliances lined up on the floor. It kind of reminded me of shopping at a flea market. They had some TVs, washer/dryer units ovens, refrigerators exc. To me for the prices they were charging I would rather go to a well know place such as Best Buy or Sears. All in all I would not recommend checking this place out. It's dark, depressing and not somewhere I would think to go to shop for appliances. read more

First time using them and I'm absolutely disgusted. I have always used the big companies for appliances, but this home town store was recommended so I went in and told them exactly what I needed and most importantly, I needed it by a certain date . They said no problem!! What a load of rubbish!!! First they are days late in delivering. Then when they do deliver, 2 of the 4 appliances delivered were damaged. Within a few days one more appliance is delivered. Now we only need one more. It takes them a whole other week to get 1 appliance. So now we're way past the original delivery date and the 1 appliance arrives and it's now damaged in the same spots! And now I'm asked to wait another whole week! I'm trying to move out of state!! This has made my life so complicated. A definable domino effect in my life because of their ineptitude. They don't even care. Their answer is "well that's how it is!" ????? Called about a GE top loading 4.2 cubic ft washing machine they have listed at $566 online and the gentleman that answered was very polite and knowledgeable and Customer Service oriented. I'm in vallejo so he suggested the Fairfield location and he offered to check their inventory for me. I explained that I had already called them and the lady said that the one I asked about was an older model and they were all gone and all they had left was the 899$ models. Don't give Cordelia/Fairfield Pearson's your business if you can get around it. They don't care about customer service. They try to upsell in a dishonest fashion. Not a way to run a business. VACAVILLE location on the other hand is very honest and good business people. The man said that Fairfield in fact had 20 of the machines that I asked about. We bought a new washer and dryer from Pearson's today. We bought our last set here about 17 years ago, and we figured that was a pretty good life for our machines...so let's start there. Willie was our salesman and he was very helpful, answered all our questions...such as, what is the difference between a washer with an agitator and one without an agitator. He seemed very knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't want. He got us a lowered base rate and informed us as to other costs (like hookups and haul away/proper disposal of old machine). Our refrigerator wasn't working properly, so went to Pearson's to get a recommendation for an Appliance Repair man and to look at new refrigerators in case ours wasn't fixable. Zach helped me with both and he was so courteous and helpful. Dave's Appliance came out and determined the refrigerator was dead. So went back to Pearson's today and purchased a new refrigerator and also a new upright freezer. Once again Zach helped me and made the purchase pleasurable. He was wonderful to work with. They were able to deliver both today, and took our old ones away for recycling. Gerald and Mark were our delivery guys. They were the best delivery people we've ever had. Courteous, polite, respectful, and most importantly very conscientious in making sure to remove the old and bring in the new without damaging anything. I love Pearson's. I decided to put this review up in order to kind of balance out the poor review that precedes mine. I have bought a few appliances at Pearson's and I find them to be very knowledgeable and to only carry select, quality merchandise. They are a local store and therefore a better place to plop down my money (IMHO) than Best Buy, or other big box stores. I recently shopped there for an LED flat screen TV. I also checked Best Buy, and Pearson's came within $50 of the purchase price of BB, as well as charged $200 LESS for the installation (which included removing my old boat anchor of a Sony XBR TV). That's a savings of $150 in my book. Pearson's does not specialize in TVs, and yet they carry select brands and models that are of high quality. I love the one I got (an LG 47" LED); the installation went without a hitch, and I would most definitely shop there again. By the way; my experience at BB was pretty poor. I had to hunt down some sales help, the TV display is totally overwhelming (since they carry so many models), and after a few minutes, I couldn't tell the difference between them anymore. The sales people are relatively knowledgeable, but fast-talking and a little sleazy. People go there for price, not service, I guess. That's in contrast to the more human, attention-to-detail approach I got at Pearson's. I guess I don't mind not being "greeted at the door." I like to kind of size up the place and look for myself for several minutes before being forced to interact with someone. So, their style works well for me. Each to his/her own, I guess! I need a refrigerator next; I will be checking out Pearson's for sure! read more

WOW. These people, especially Zach, were the best. After a bad water leak in our kitchen that necessitated a complete remodel, we went to Pearson's for appliances. Zach was awesome. He knew his products and went so far as to print out spec sheets and discuss the pros and cons of various appliances. I have to say that he was also very patient with us. We probably went back to Pearson's 10 times( not exaggerating) to ask more questions and he never tried to hide or shake his head in exasperation, which is what I would have done if I were him.. The delivery guys, George and Duncan, were terrific also. They spent 3 hours taking out appliances and moving the new ones in. They were so respectful of our appliances and floors. They had to remove our front door and a hall door as well as the handles on the appliances. That shows how much work was involved. Very friendly and knowledgeable young men .. Thanks guys.
