Change management Definitely DO NOT ORDER for a big event I ordered for our daughter's graduation party from college 10 pizzas and 2 cheese sticks and 2 pizza sauces when my son picked up the order we received 10 pizzas and 2 sauces well I called and asked for management or ower I was told management was not there call back in 15 minutes so I wait about 20/ 30 min call a 2nd time someone answered and I asked again for management or ower and was told they were not available so I asked who I was speaking with the kid was rude and refused to give me his name he insisted on getting mine so I gave my name and was told the same thing there not available so I say ok then wait another 15/20 minutes then call back but this time I just stayed with the party and management finally answered I tried explaining what was wrong and she was not corporative would not let me get a word in so my sister in law tried helping me out because she works on the phone all day and again she wouldn't let her get a word in then everyone else tries helping me no results but they said I didn't pay for the cheese sticks ( but why would they give me the sauce if I didn't pay for the cheese sticks) what make this situation bad is the cheese sticks were for me ( who paid for the order and my sister in law who has difacalty with some foods (so we could even eat ) then we ordered the BLT pizzas there was literally 2 inches of mayo on the pizza it was gross then the pepperoni pizza had very little pepperoni on it So I was very upset so I take My neighbor in with me In person knowing I was upset I needed someone to help keep me calm THIS MANAGER Looked at my neighbor who is 80 years old with the most disrespectful attitude and said YOU DIDN'T make THE order and YOU DIDN'T PAY for it SO I AM NOT TALKING TOO YOU so I'm crying because of the treatment of my neighbor and friend and I told her that she was there to help me out The MANAGER said this is not a COURT OF LAW excuse me Then I'm requesting my money back and I was told I WAS NOT. Today was my first time at this Mancinos I will not return and wouldn't recommend there was 2 guys working not sure who was employee or who was manager but I noticed that the grinder sandwiches were being cut my a machine and no gloves were being worn when they were being put on the machine he may have washed his hands before but it's hard to tell it's making me question other places as well maybe it's not a requirement to wear gloves when handling a customers sandwich but it should be. We're from Mt pleasant and our Mancini ( as well as Clare's and Petoskey's) is WAY better!! Everything looked dirty. Chairs, silverware, counters... We ordered 2 grinders and waited a half hour. We finally approached the counter to find they had been sitting there waiting but no one told us .. The guy that had taken our order and checked us out asked if we'd already paid. ‍ He was the one that took out money! My husband's BBQ chicken had way more mushrooms than anything else. All of the BBQ sauce was in one area. My BLT had a small layer of mayo on one side along with probably 5 strips of bacon, two tomatoes and mounds of lettuce. If you want to get screwed out of food...and then lied to... this is the place for you. We ordered a bucket of 40 wings for a dinner party. We ended up only getting 30 in the bucket. We called back to complain and the shift leader said (since we really couldn't run back out in the middle of the party) that they would Goofpon us a free bucket next time we went in. When we called today, the OWNER. Told us "She didn't see our name" but if we ordered another bucket she would throw in 10 extra. Don't order online from this place if you're staying at one of the local hotels! We ordered pizza, wings, and soda to be delivered to the Hampton Inn on Super Bowl Sunday and the confirmation said that our order would be delivered in an hour. After about 75 minutes I called to see where our order was only to be told that the driver was just leaving with it. 26 minutes later when it still hadn't arrived, my husband called back and he, too,was told the driver was just leaving. I love this place and always order here for delivery for over a year now and have never had a problem.... tried to order twice now with their new online ordering and it will not take my address, i called them the first time lady told me she would tell tech and get it fixed. this month they have 50 % of any pizza online and again it wouldnt take my address so i called and the manager told me to change my order to pick up and they would still do the 50 % off, i dont feel that is right, why would i want delivery if i have to go pick it up???? $5.00 delivery charge! Was desperate and tried to place a delivery order last night, the guy on the phone was a total idiot. Asked my wife's name and then said "What can I get you Steve" WTF. The web site says they have 12, 14, and 16" pizza sizes. She asked for a small 12" and he said "That's a medium", again, WTF. At the end he said the total was over $21, for a $15.59 pizza, she asked why and he said there was a $5 delivery charge. For a $15 pizza? We passed, their pizza is not that great to begin with. I was at a friend's house last night and we ordered from Mancino's. We had chicken alfredo pizza, nachos, and fries. They forgot to put the tomatoes on the nachos. When my friend called to complain, they said they would bring a new batch over, no problem. 45 min. later, they finally show up with the new nachos. The delivery guy wanted the old nachos (which were half eaten by now) back so he could bring them in. He wouldn't give us the new nachos (the ones that actually had everything they were supposed to have on them) unless we could give him back the old nachos. Unfortunately, we were hungry after our long wait and we ate them even though they weren't made correctely. So he left with his fresh nachos. So, so TACKY! I would have written a formal complaint to the Mancino's headquarters (wherever that is) if I had been the one who ordered and paid, but since I was only a witness to all of this, I thought a bad Yelp review might be more appropriate. I can't believe what poor customer service Mancino's is providing. I've worked in the restaurant industry since 1996. I would never treat a customer like this after messing up their order. I get that they're trying to prevent people from ripping them off, but what are they going to do with their old nachos anyways? And to leave with the fresh nachos that were what we had actually ordered is totally out of line. The only reason this level of service is accepted is because there are relatively few options in this town. This place doesn't deserve to be successful. It's not like the rest of the food was amazing, either. It was passable. If you want something much better, go to Schuberg's. For pizza, I haven't tried all of the places in Big Rapids yet, but there are many other options. read more

We had a calzone and the wait was a little long but the calzone was really good. I like the grinders, but I grossly underestimated how long it would take to get my food. It wasn't particularly busy, but if you're thinking this is fast food, you are in for a surprise. I think the only way to do this is if you have some time on your hands or get carry out. I'd give five stars if it didn't take 15 minutes to get my grinder. I love Mancinos! The food is always awesome! Love every grinder I've ever had with the regular turkey grinder being my all time favorite. The pizza is delicious and a good option over all the other chain pizza places in BR. I seriously recommend the wet burrito, it never disappoints! The only complaint is the staff can be cranky with you on the phone. But the delivery drivers are always really nice and I make sure to tip well for their friendly demeanor! read more

I have been eating at various Mancino's for over ten years now. I had been turned on to one in Bowling Green, KY back in the late 90's and after I moved back to Chicago thought I would never have another grinder. I was pleasently surprised when I found a Mancino's in the Kankakee area. I now make the special trip there to get a steak and cheese grinder a couple times a year. Between the crispy toasted bread and the thinly sliced steak covered with sauteed peppers and onions and smothered in cheese, who can resist? This is definitely a guilty pleasure! read more

Called the Big Rapids, MI location to ask about specials on a pizza. He said they had no specials but had a $7 14" one topping pizza. Asked to add an additional item and gave my delivery address. Delivery guy came to the door and handed me a receipt for over $16. Delivery guy said there was a $3 delivery charge which I understood but said that when I added the extra topping it voided the special price. Pizza was warm at best and was obvioulsy not properly handled in the car. It was all spread out over the box. Worst pizza experience ever. read more

First time in was told they had good pizza, when it arrived at my table there was enough grease on it to lube my whole truck, one bite and I couldn't spit it out fast enough it was so hot it burnt the roof of my mouth, my tongue, and raised blisters on my lips. the service was so bad I've Had better at McDonald's and thats not saying much. The cheese bread was simple toast with a bit of melted cheese on it served cold. The prices I would rather buy a 5.00 hot and ready from little Ceaser's before going there again, as far as cleanliness an employee went out to work on her car came back in and started cooking food without washing her hands. This almost made me throw up. which I did in the parking lot afterwards. I would not even give it one star if this would let me, I have never in my life seen so much grease that it dripped off the pizza and was so hot it burnt your hand if it touched it. would I recommend them? Yes to me worst enemies. then again no even they deserve better. Going further into this the sausage on the pizza tasted like it came from a frozen tube of bob even's breakfast sausage, the pizza sauce from what I tasted was spaghetti sauce with way to much oregano in it. not enough cheese to even call it a pizza. dirty floors dirty counter, bathrooms where fit for the rat that I seen in the corner. I hate writing bad reviews but I will never order from here again. I have waited 45 to an hour EVERY time I make a order for delivery. Even for a chef salad one time. Now they changed the best thing on the menu. The French dip was hands down the best I ever ate around here and now they make it with steak and swiss cheese without even notifying the customer when they did but still call it a French dip. It tastes horrible and everyone knows a French dip is made with roast beef! Anytime I have complained the employees and even a manger has been really rude.
