Pizza pizza pizza!!!! Been a fan for a very long time. I've been eating the Pompeii's peetz in Baldwin since I was a kid. And it still rocks, give me the X-Large with pepperoni and ground beef, greezy goodness that will keep you coming back for more. I'm always a takeout guy, but the establishment is nice too, providing a lot of room to relax and fill the belly. This last week, had the chicken Peetz and it was awesome, kudos to your chicken topping, very good. Thanks so so much, for keeping the spirit of '87 alive and well. Chicken wings taste like freezer section wings at a grocery store, not sure about the pizza though.

Stromboli's and subs are fantastic. I haven't tried their pizza yet but it looks as good as the rest of their food. They have a nice place to sit down inside but it is also take out if need be and delivery. We got our order within 20 minutes. read more

First time customer and was pretty impressed with the quality of the food as well as the price. For an order of garlic knots, small personal pizza, dinner salad and some bone-in wings, it came to a total of $26. Very affordable. Staff were all very friendly, restaurant was nice and clean as well. Would go again! read more

I drove a long way and waited 45 minutes for my sandwich. The place was exceptionally busy and it seemed like most people got pizza. It looked like at one time there was table service, now there is not. I think it would be better with table service because the dining room seemed very dirty. Great local pizza, only been there once for pickup but they had it done when they said and it was very good. We had the chicken bacon ranch, nice flavor. I like their crust, nice and soft and chewy. Need some dipping sauce for the crust and you're all set! read more

My girlfriend and I wanted a low-key day during our Michigan trip. While getting ready for the thunderous 2024 presidential debate, we decided to go with pizza. Being from the Chicagoland area, we are quite picky with our pizza. We were quite pleased with what we received from this sleepy little town. Their 12" thin crust sausage pizza tasted just like something we'd have at home. If we ever visit Baldwin again, we'll stop by for another slice. read more

Pompeii's is such a great pizza place! The pizza is delicious and they are generous with the toppings. The Stromboli is a heck of a deal. There is so much of it and it is packed full of fresh ingredients. I also enjoy the calzones, but not as much as the pizza and Stromboli! I would definitely plan ahead in regards to ordering take out because sometimes it can get very busy! I recommend Pompeii's for dine in or take out! Garlic knots were great and we got a ton of them! Pizza was perfect and delivery was fast and right on time!

Being the only pizza place in town, I really want to like it and support them, but at times, it's a roller coaster. I've gotten perfect pies, I've gotten soggy/greasy pies, I've gotten burnt pies. The garlic knots were great a couple of times with a generous coating of cheesy seasoning on top, followed by nearly no seasoning, or more often, the bottom being caked together with the bread tossed on top. There's a couple workers there that really know their stuff and run a relatively smooth ship, other times, I come across new people that don't know anything and don't move with any urgency. I recommend them if you're in the area and want some pizza, but be forewarned and cross your fingers.... because when it's good, it's GOOD! read more

I ordered from Pompeii's their food was great. but they charged $22.49 for something that was $11.13. The price was on their website but when I got there they said they said $22.49. they need to update their website. but I recommend it. I do not recommend their hotdogs! read more

Absolutely amazing pizza, however their stromboli's are unbelievably incredible! They also have really great cinnamon and garlic knots all at surprisingly fair prices! We always visit repeatedly during the summer when we come from Oklahoma, and I would take Pompeii's over any Pizza chain in our area. Highly recommended! read more

Commented to my wife that I felt like this was the worst pizza I'd ever eaten! So disappointing. I've had a lot of pizza in my life, it's one of my favorite foods, but I'm no pizza snob, I'll eat any pizza. Just have to be honest, my starving kids didn't even finish one whole piece. This place was a shocker. It seemed a little backwoods. But the whole menu was way more than a pizza joint. The chicken Caesar Salad was made with very fresh romaine. Decent bread croutons and lots of small chicken bites. We also ordered a 12" pizza. A Chicken Alfredo pizza. It had finely chopped peppers, onions and black olives. We added yellow pepper slices. The crust was great. Well cooked bottom and a soft edge. Very satisfying! Will definitely be back to try more menu items. read more
