I've had the privilege of eating from Samuel Mancino's table since the late 60's. I was happy to see there was a Mancino's in my new town. Have take family and friends here for 2 years, food always excellent. Tonight not so much. Had 'shaved' ribeye sandwich. The meat was ground or in chunks, NOT shaved like original. Sorry but first timer at this location--and just not what I have had at other Mancinos. Ordered 4 sandwiches got home all were dripping soggy. The Vegi was soaked in past sauce (Suggest maybe put on the side???)and there was no lettuce at all one tomato. !!! The Mancinos in Granger never puts pasta sauce on it comes with mayo. The garlic breads were all stuck together on big blob. Hope to try again and it gets better. read more

Amazing staff. All working and cleaning when not on an order. Nice to see! Had the jumbo bone in wings and Italian grinder and they were outstanding. Fresh, large, and piping hot. Honestly, I think this is one of the best Mancino locations that I have been to. And trust me, I have been to them all I highly recommend this location all the way around. read more

Always good. Pizza excellent, grinders even better. Good people run the restaurant. Service good as well, even if they are busy.

We have tried Grinders, nachos, stuffed breadsticks, pizza, and calzones from Mancino's and all of it was just OK. We felt like the calzones and grinders needed more stuffing/toppings. The calzones especially were mostly breading. Nachos were decent, but once you got passed the first layer it was just chips. Stuffed breadsticks were overdone & dry. Pizza was fine. We may go there if we need a quick fix for a craving, but I don't think we'll be regulars. read more

I love this place. I ordered 4 breadsticks and cheese but my order arrived with only 2. So when I called back they were very quick to solve issue and help me. I got my 2 other breadsticks delivered with an extra cheese and 2 free cookies. Food and service is always amazing!!! read more

Now THIS is the Mancino's that I remember. I had the NEW Godfather sandwich (I think), and it was incredible. I forget the ingredients exactly, but it had salami, capicola, black olives, banana peppers, cheese, but most importantly, it was all lathered in pizza sauce. It was the best sandwich I've had at a Mancino's in a long time, maybe even EVER! To top it all off, the lunch special is only $5.50--and that include's a 1/2 grinder (which is HUGE), chips AND a drink. I don't know how all the Subway's in town aren't out of business yet.... I had a roast beef grinder. The roast beef was dry. The bread was hard. There was very little cheese, lettuce or tomatoes. Probably won't go again. They also charged us $50 for 3 full grinders. read more

The pizzas are good as good as you will find anywhere else in Sturgis. The grinders are where this place shines. The previous review of awkward dining area is definitely true. The service can be spotty. They have quite a few times messed up my order but they always fixed it and compensated me for the inconvenience. read more

Rating a 5 for the grinders alone because they're worth it. Always fun to find a place that has capicola, etc., and other fun Italian deli meats. They were so full of meat that I almost wanted to take some out--very generous portions. And the sandwich was huge! We got two full-sized sandwiches for the two of us the first time and never have since then, since half is more than enough to share! Fries are baked, not fried, but still fine. The calzone was fine, but nothing to get crazy excited about. But those grinders!! Mm. Yup, that's how I like 'em. Even more menu options with Italian deli meats would be great. read more

Excellent handmade calzone, friendly staff, felt like an awesome family-run business. I am from out of town and I was really craving some good Italian food. The only negative is that it was hard to see where the store was in the parking lot, but once I found it, I am so glad that I did. Highly recommended. read more

I visited this location on 6/3/2017. I grew up in southwest Michigan and I visited home for the first time in a while. The Mancino's in my hometown of Benton Harbor closed a few years ago, so we made the stop at the Sturgis location on the way back to Pittsburgh. We were greeted by one of the employee's, Evan, who was very kind and courteous. My mom, who wasn't with us for our trip, absolutely loves Mancino's grinders; specifically, the Italian grinder with only ham, sausage, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and extra mayo. Absolutely no onion, she has a deadly allergy to it. Evan took great care to make these sandwiches for my mom without the onion (it usually comes with it) and packed them for our remaining 5+ hour trip. All in all, we picked up 4 or 5 whole sandwiches to take with us. It was absolutely delicious and even now, more than a year later, I can still remember that sandwich and the wonderful hospitality we received from the staff at the Sturgis Mancino's. The next time I visit home, I will be stopping at Mancino's on the way IN and OUT of town. I can't wait!!! If you haven't tried it, you absolutely must. Go for a grinder, perhaps an Italian one at that! You will NOT be disappointed! read more

We just ordered a BBQ chicken pizza from Mancino's and it literally had not a drop of sauce on it. We called to ask if they could fix it and they were rude, inconsiderate and told us to deal with it. I have never been so poorly treated in my life. So now we are stuck eating this bland and cold pizza that cost us $25. Do not order pizza from this place. In fact you would be much better off going to buy a frozen pizza at Kroger. 10,000 times more delicious and way less expensive. read more
