It's extremely outdated but when you're used to clubs in Vegas it is hard for other places to compare. It's nice to have tables all around the dance floor that you can sit on without having to order bottle service- probably the only good thing they have going for them. My issue is with the lack of customer care. I ordered a sangria to drink. Usually sangria to my knowledge is wine and fruit. While I understand that the drink may differ from place to place, the sangria at my resort is exactly what I'm used to and the resort is a short ten minute drive from this club. After ordering my drink I realized that it was made with soda and wine. Due to medical reasons, I cannot by any mean have soda. I went over to speak to the bar about it I was told that regardless of what my drink had in it, there was nothing that could be done and to essentially suck it up and order something else if I wanted to. Sorry but I'm not at all inclined to spend another dollar here when you do not even have the decency to even say sorry and then explain why it can't be done. Aug 22-23 we were in Puerto Vallarta Mexico on a over nite cruise, our friends wanted to go out Dancing but I wasn't to sure about that since I wasn't familiar with the area and hadn't been out dancing in years, let alone in Mexico but they convinced us to go. Talking about a great time we had so much fun dancing all nite the club was beautiful they played all types of music and the crowds age ranged from 22/66 I said 66 because my husband is 60 Lol. ***BEWARE*** If the staff figures out you're from the US via accent or how you look you will run the risk of getting ripped off. Going on vacation with my bestfriend who happens to be hispanic, we unfortunately got charged an astronomical amount with hardly no explanation. One, its always important to be alert and ask how much are the charges. Two, ask for the receipt and make sure it matches. The server(Andrea/Alejandra don't remember) didn't want us to see the final receipt because she had shown us a different receipt prior which was 45$ US for 4 beers that already was overpriced. She kept my friends ID and credit card and went way across the club to what we thought she was charging the card. She told us to stay where we were at she'll come back(We was by the terminal where they normally were charging other people's card).We noticed something wasn't right when she was taking forever but yet other patrons were getting their card back in good timing. She also told my friend sign exactly how her signature is on her ID... SKETCH MUCH!! To find out this other server had my friends information and gave the card back. We didn't have a good feeling about the situation on hand and wanted to leave. My friend called her bank and told her the club charged her 117 US$. Absolutely ridiculous. We assumed the server felt we couldn't count in pesos which was incorrect we just did not have the overpriced amount in pesos since it was the last night of our trip and my friend had to use her card. I say to say this just be vigilant about your hard earned money and ask questions. read more

Seriously the best club we went to in Puerto Vallarta. We went there for a bachelor/bachelorette party for my fiancés brother and fiancée and it was soo much fun! After going to so many other clubs and bars, we finally reached this one and the bass was amazing. You could feel it in your chest and I didn't want to leave! They also let the girls dance on stage which makes for an unforgettable fun experience! Love love LOVE this club! Highly recommended for American tourists. read more

Great place to party, but don't waste your time making a reservation they won't owner it. I paid 200 dollars for mine and when i got there i was placed in a corner. far away from the rest of the people. I order 2 bottles, about an hour later i asked for more sodas, never got them. then i asked for shot glasses never got them, i asked the waiter to see if there was a way to say happy birthday to someone he said give me 10 minutes, never heard back. I asked for a bottle of buchanan's never received it, went back to the waiter to ask for the bottle again and she said that only if i gave her a 20% tip. With the quality of service 20% is a bit much. waited an hour and left. i din't mind paying a premium for the bottle but being asked a premium tip for the bad service. read more

It's Puerto Vallarta. Finally came back to my hometown a couple of months ago.. end of story, great ambient, music to dance to, mostly DJ, Cumbia's rarely. (Lot's of tourists) The service is really nice, they keep the bottles coming! haha.. neat bathrooms! They also have security on sight, The view is breathtaking! Horrible experience at this club aka dollar drainer. Visited with my boyfriend and he bought us a bottle of Chardonnay because we wanted a seat away from the crowd. Waiter tells us we can sit on the sofas if we buy a bottle which makes sense, same concept in the U.S. and anywhere you go. We took about an hour to finish the $100 dollar bottle and immediately get asked to leave. That spoiled my mood and ruined the night. We were there dancing and having fun until we got discriminated. Hispanic groups around us had not bought any more bottles yet we were profiled for being American and expected to keep spending. The people sitting next to us were never asked to leave but they weren't American. To top it off the waiter tells us he can get us other seats, pretending to have our back and then leads us to the back where the bar is & there's no seats. We spoke to the manager and he didn't do anything but laugh in our face and then go hide in his office..no one there had the sense of value for a paying customer. All they wanted was for us to keep buying bottles. 2 people don't need more than one bottle but they don't care. Unless you will be buying bottles, sip your drinks real slow so you don't encounter a similar experience or spend hundreds for no reason. read more

If you want to have a great time in Puerto Vallarta I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The crowd is a mix of young and older adults, the music was good, drinks were okay priced, but the service there was something to recognize. Out of all the night clubs I've been to the staff waiters at Mandala we're probably the most attentive and deserve 100 stars. I will def be going back to Mandala on my next visit to Puerto Vallarta. read more

This club is pretty fun but a little expensive for Mexico. We ordered a tequila shot and the bartender had given us the most expensive one they had, so we were forced to pay a lot for one shot even though there was no communication of that. Very sketchy money grav. La vaquita Vallarta beside it is better and more fun. read more

We came from California on vacation with my gay partner we were spending a good amount of money there behind us was a straight couple kissing and grabbing each other in an indecent way no one bothered them and when I kissed my gay couple on the lips I was asked by security and the manager to pay my tab and leave because it was against company policy. I asked why was it OK for a straight couple to expose them selves indecently but not for me to show my love to my husband. The manager said we can stay and dance drink but if we kissed we had to leave. We were treated like if we were breaking f the law. We met other gay couples on the strip and they said they were also kicked out as well. Apparently they gay community is going to file for discrimination. As we were walking out I asked the manager also gay by the way you do understand and accept you are discriminating against us right he said yes and when I tried to record him saying that he asked to to go outside and we could take care of it there. I'm not the type of person who will create this kind of drama. I would never return to that place if they can't respect my life choices even though I came from California specifically to go clubbing there. If you support the gay community you should not go there as well there are other clubs there with the same environment and we are accepted for who we are. Please support the gay community read more

During my vacation to Puerto Vallarta my friends and I wanted to go out and experience the night life. We decided to go to Mandala. Upon our arrival we were told about the bottle service, which we went with. The music was good, mostly all EDM and some spanish. Our service was good for the first hour, they poured our drinks for us and did what they had to do. We weren't aware that bottled water wasn't included and was charged for that which isn't a big deal, it just would have been nice to know first. Afterwards they came with the check about an hour into our stay. It was unusually loud in there but I guess thats how Mexico likes it to be so we couldn't really hear what was being said. We paid our bill but apparently we were short. How is it short when we paid with a card. Then we proceeded to tip and they said it wasn't enough, which it was. I don't know about others but I do not like when I tip 20% and still get a complaint. #1 who does that, I guess in Mexico they do. So then they came around with another check asking for their tip again. So we even gave cash this time. Half of our group had already left because they didn't want to deal with the petty asking of tip increase. The group next to us which was only two girls offered for us to join but still the workers were asking for us to pay them after we paid them, then they gave us another bill charging us again. Honestly, this place was annoying with the money asking especially about the tip and I was really pissed that we were charged twice. Which I don't understand why, I don't think I'll ever go back, EVER! read more

Totally incredible! Bottle service is a must! If not, plan to be in a mob of people. Paid $200 for a bottle. $300 for two. Probably easier if you speak Spanish to help out with bargaining.....it is of course Mexico. The sound and light system is unreal! Gotta get there early to insure a spot for bottle service. Not sure if they participate with open table. Been to many clubs all over the world and this place is in the top 5 of my all time favorites. Clean, safe, fun and the people were very kind. PLEASE DO NOT CONTRIBUTE YOUR MONEY TO THIS BUSINESS. THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST GAY PEOPLE. This is the worst place I have ever visited. My girlfriend and I were walking down the malecon and they asked us to come in since the place was dead. We did and they placed us in an area near the corner toward the front. We bought a couple of overpriced drinks and the waitress was super kind and attentive. All the while I kissed my partner a few times and the waitress never said anything. We then moved to the dance floor and I happened to kiss her again and much to my surprise, they asked us to leave as it was against their policy. I asked for a refund for my overpriced drinks and they refused, therefore I refused to leave until they refunded my money. My partner then asked to speak to a manager and then they used excessive force on her and I went to help by pushing away the person who had held her wrists. They then shoved me out and put me in a chokehold in the outside of the club in front of many people. My girlfriend recorded the entire altercation then they took the phone away from her and deleted the recording from the phone. Never in my life have I ever experienced discrimination at this level. I hope you go out of business. But more so, I hope you realize the trauma you have caused me. read more

Last night my friends and I at this club spent 8000 MXP. We were very friendly and met a lot of cool people. Through out the night our waiter on our first floor table kept telling us we had to give him 500 MXP cash to keep our table even tho we already spent 8000 and the other tables at our level weren't all even taken. During this time the waiter was a complete asshole for no reason and we started to feel very uncomfortable. Right after this we decided to leave and immediately when walking out of the club minding our own business we got grabbed by cops brought into a dark alley where they handcuffed us and started beating us up and punching us in the face. After an hour they made us give them $1000 USD and let us go when we did NOTHING. We are 90% sure how were targeted was by the waiter telling the corrupt ass police what we looked like and more importantly had money. Absolutely terrible and id fire this guy immediately as I assume this isn't the first time it's happened to someone and completely ruin their trip and give them a bad false representation of Mexico. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK, corrupt shady service. Try LA SANTA, staff was friendly and great. read more
