I'd say these are in the top 5 donuts that I've ever had. I was trying to have a slight amount of self control, but there were at least 3 more that I wanted to try. It's colossally big and very, very easy to chew on without needing something hot and wet like coffee or tea. But I do think it would be better with a drink. What I've also noticed is that they really prioritize the decorations on the donuts, and I think that also brings out their peak service. I was served during the Governors Ball where there were a lot of people and a lot of vendors. They handled their service very well. I couldn't tell you the exact location of the place because it was a vendor, but I assume it's probably somewhere I would conveniently go to. I definitely wanna go to the Brooklyn location.

All of the employees have on the most lovely uniforms that invite you into the old fashioned establishment that beckons for you to eat the old fashioned cake donuts. The powdered donuts were an extra delight in my opinion. Especially the Bavarian cream. The lemon wasn't quite what I expected. Filled with a fruit gel and not a cream. So that one was a no for me. The glazed and cake were a big hit as well.

The cake itself was moist and the pudding held everything together well. I would be back to try their Strawberry Shortcake and other desserts.

OMG - this Bakery is amazing! It's like a little hidden gem in Bay Ridge. I was chatting with the owner Pedro (the nicest guy!), and he told me he renovated the store and expanded the bakery to provide more options to the community. He said it was always a small bakery & food store (serving regional Mexican food on the weekends) but he really wanted to elevate the bakery offerings without compromising the food on the weekends. Pedro my man, you hit it out of the park! This is by FAR the best bakery in Bay Ridge. And I can't wait to go back and try their weekend regional Mexican food; he told me his chef is from an area in Mexico called Jalisco (I might have misspelled that) and he'll be serving up his home town favorites...I'll definitely post another review after I taste the food! read more

It is about time 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge had a bakery. Great customer service and a great variety of Mexican and regular baked goods. The bread is fresh and the desserts are amazing. We order all our birthday cakes from there as well and they are made fresh to order. Very good prices as well. read more
