I chose the latter and I'm glad I did Dan's son, Arthur came by to the house from Santa Ana--gave me a price, transported the chairs and returned them in about 6 weeks. The table looks brand new. The piece is complicated; lots of seams, pockets, and moving parts, but also mechanics under the chair and power cords to deal with. Not only was the upholstery work beautifully done, but the chair worked without a hitch when they returned it. They delivered the chair in a timely manner, assembled all the pieces, and made sure it was in working order before they left. As I mentioned, it's been a few years since the work was completed; my dad has passed, but the chair has been handed down to another family member, and the upholstery still looks as good as new. I'm sorry I don't have images, trust me. I will definitely use M & G again. Great workmanship and excellent customer service.

Oscar responded with clear and reasonable quotes and a 5-wk process time. sofas were picked up as scheduled. since we're trying to save some $ and matching the seat cushion, there were not too many choices of fabric to choose from. and It was hard/expensive to find trims that matched original design of the sofa. Oscar's staff explained and talked me into just doing simple piping along the base and around all the pillows. the day before delivery I called to confirm (I was really worried they won't make it for my party scheduled day after delivery), then again the morning of delivery and late afternoon. they finally delivered around 5pm on delivery day, 2hrs after their closing time. the sofas looked really nice and the simple piping actually enhanced the seat cushions. we really like it. Oscar was very responsive via text. the staffs were all very helpful throughout the process. I would have given them 5-stars if I didn't have to be so nervous the last 2 days worrying they wouldn't make it.
