I have a 13 year old Volvo and recently the interior headliner came loose. It was obscuring my rear-view visibility so I needed to fix it if I wanted to drive it. I took my 2004 Volkswagen GTI to Amadeus to get the headliner and all four interior [door] panels reupholstered. Amadeus offered a very competitive 'package deal' discount, so I took the car in on a Friday morning. I also needed to do some unrelated rear hatch wiring repairs on the car - which would be greatly simplified with the headliner out - so I arranged to pick the car up again after they had removed all the interior pieces. It was ready for me the next morning (Saturday), so I took it home, did the wiring repairs over the weekend, and I brought it back to them on Monday morning, so they could put everything back together (it was a lot). The car was done on Tuesday, and I have to say wow, they did a fantastic job! The material they used for the headliner was almost an exact match to the light gray interior pieces that they didn't need to work on (the A, B and C pillars). Everything was neat and in its place. You can tell they took the time to get it just right. And the material I chose for the door panels (something a little more interesting than what was in the car before) looked great! The interior of the car looked brand new, and it actually felt quieter on the road, with far fewer rattles and squeaks. I went back the next week and asked Amadeus to apply the same panel material to my center console armrest. He took care of that, and it turned out great as well. And I asked him if he had a piece of the material left over that I could keep in case I ever needed to do any repairs on it, and he gave me the roll of what he had left! And he didn't even want anything for it, or for the armrest work! Amazing customer service, and top quality workmanship. Look no further if your car's interior needs some help! read more

I received Upholstry by Amadeus and his crew but they referred me to a bad person for my window tint: Edwin Menendez. The first time, Edwin lied to my face and said that he did 70% window tint for me when he did 35%. I had to pay another person to fix it. Then the referred me to him again. Edwin asked for a $240 deposit before starting the job, but didn't complete it on the day he promised. Then refused to refund me. I contacted my bank to dispute the Zelle but they told me Edwin had took the money and emptied his bank account. I don't know why Amadeus and his crew would refer me to a liar and dishonest person like Edwin Menendez. I won't be doing my Upholstry here anymore. I'll find a new place. Shame! read more

First time in 35 years driving 7 Mercedes, this was the first seat crack happened to me. It happened one year after the warranty expired. Not happy about it. Dealer quoted $600 to replace the bottom section where It happened . Trim Line in RB recommended by by friend quoted $495. But want to wait for their call to take it in. I found Amadeus not far from my daily drive route by accident. Amadeus, the owner told me they've seen this kind of cracks "all the time", $350, any day of the week is fine, no appointment needed. One day job, and I won't have to worry about cracks for 10 years, they have the same exact material for replacement. While I was there, saw a well known used car dealer in RB has a top of the line Mercedes convertible there for repair. Figure it's save to have them do the job. The replacement job was excellent, I can't tell it's not "factory original". I'm glad I found Amadeus by accident. read more

-Quality work and quick turn around time- 2 days ago, I had my sunroof open in the tilt position. When I tried to close it, it would not shut. I called Amadeo and he was able to take care of it first thing this morning, on a Saturday. Great price! A different place quoted me at $350 (over 3x what I paid). So, a Replacement Convertible Top was installed on a classic Car. The job was done and it took time but I was OK with that. What happened after I picked it up is where the trouble started. On pick up I was not allowed to use the top for three days, a week passed but I noticed very soon that my electric seat did not work, my passenger seat would not lodge, it kept moving back and forth. Nothing worse than not having your seat controls not work EXCEPT my turn signals had also stopped working. All of this worked when I dropped it off. I called Amadeus, he said to bring it in. I asked him to have it ready for me before 4th of July, I showed up on 2nd of July and the car was in pieces. The dash underneath was torn apart, so they fixed it quickly, the seat worked but didn't work, my power windows that I asked to get fixed did not work, only passenger side. I was furious and Amadeus wanted $300 for the job THAT WAS NOT EVEN COMPLETE , I PAID $100 BECAUSE I FELT BAD FOR THE ELECTRICIAN. I was told that parts were needed, two Pig Tails for the rear window and then a master 4 window switch for the front, $300 for the front and $500 for the master. I refused and said I could find them cheaper and did. I asked Amadeus for the part number and he texted it to me, I typed it in and they were $39 a piece so $78 plus $5.95 shipping, A FAR WAY FROM $300. The Switch I found for $79 used on ebay with a guarantee and $9.95 Shipping, Amadeus quoted me $500. So the difference in Parts that i found was $168.90 and he wanted $800.00 That is a $631.11 difference in cost per parts. This is a PURPOSEFUL GROSS OVERCHARGING OF PARTS and WE HAVE NOT STARTED ON LABOR. In Summation, Amadeus is a categorical rip - off artist. He has two shops, both are across the street from each other. When he first started he was next to Vellios Machine Shop and he was new and he was "hungry" and did good work. Now that that he is in the high dollar corner lot mixed with tiny apartments and a Mexican Restaurant there is no parking. Once you do you will see a filthy Bird Cage (often open with exotic birds) and an frumpy old man sitting in a chair with Sunglasses on that appears frozen looking like a bum. Just short of a Circus Act this place reaks of disorganization and lack of leadership, quality and while you will see certain nice vehicles you have not experienced your own work done and later see the complete disaster you received back. Do not be fooled, Radios, Windows, Lights, Trim and even paint scratches will appear. I, along with a lof my friends, who had work done there, will never go back because of all the problems and the proprietor, NOT caring about you car, only the money that you spend there. This is a friendly car to car guy or gal warning, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO AMADEUS AUTO UPHOLSTERY unless you want to live a nightmare. His work is No Good. He lies to your face. My '69 Chrysler 300 Convertible, today nothing on the inside works electrically, no lights, no power windows, no dash lights, no windshield wipers, BUT the Turn Signals Work. All of the above less the windows worked when I BROUGT IT IN, his response (Martin Herrera aka Amadeus), "I dunno know, we nevva touch it......etc." Denial, No ownership of work and ZERO customer service. A Fraud, Thief and No Accountability. The car is now at a professional car electrician who is licensed, I asked if they were certified, the answer was NO, this is insane............ this is how car fires start. read more

So I took my 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special here, which interior wise had not been touched or updated or fixed since 1967. It was rotted, the power seats busted, and well looked like hell! It took a little while which I can understand as the state of my Caddy was in shambles! But when we got her back, she was beautiful we had him change the color to black inside with red inserts in the door panels but kept with the original styling :) it's beautiful I can't recommend him enough! Great upholstery shop, repaired the seat bottom on our Mercedes with genuine MBTex, along with our side door panel. Totally an OEM match for the seat, but unfortunately there are tiny ripples/bumps for the door panel armrest where he filled it in, but pretty unnoticeable. We did have to go in to have him tuck away some material, which he did with no complaint, and free of charge (and quickly too). Entire repair was around $400 so not dirt cheap but also not extremely expensive. Overall would recommend and will return in the future for repairs and custom work. read more

After dropping it off on a Friday, Mr. Amadeo initially told me that the car would be ready Monday. This was changed to Tuesday. After wondering where the hell my car was, I called them back and was told it would be ready Wednesday.
