    Steak and chicken skewers
    Brandy S.

Three words: What The Fck!!! The chicken- maybe it's my taste buds, but mmmm no. Needs mmm flavor, yes. Let's say flavor. The steak is soft and a lil bit on the salty side for me. I do prefer the steak over the chicken. The drinks are good, the mint is refreshing and the strawberry lemonade is delicious. I say for the amount of food, just go with the meal. Or maybe you try the skewers yourself. But for the price idk. I say nope. I know I know what you're going to say" but you're at the packing house, of course it's going to be expensive." But idk it going to be about $40. There was no price for just the skewer by themselves. But this is just my opinion and experience. You go and try it for yourself and see if you like it or not.

Chicken kebab plate. I didn't get rice or pita (for Lent) and everything was delish!

I don't get why this place has 3.5 stars. Came here on a whim because everything else seemed good but not as healthy. I'm glad I did! Their chicken kebab plate hit the spot! The guy helping me was very nice. Their strawberry drink is refreshing. Can't wait to come back if I'm ever in the area.

Stopped by the Anaheim Packing House on our way home to San Diego to get something to eat. The whole house as is isn't as popular as I once remember it back in 2016 but there are still many different places to choose from. We chose this and it was honestly the best decision ever. We were greeted by the worker and he was very nice. He offered us a sample of the strawberry lemonade that was very fresh. We got the gyro plate and pita. They were good portions with fresh meats and veggies.

    Falafel

I've had better falafel. This was a disappointment overall. I was really excited to get falafel. And I wanted my husband to try it for the first time. I was hoping to make him a falafel fan, like me. These falafels were very dry. They also tasted... nutty? The seeds were not ground up enough and it added an extra texture that shouldn't be there lol My husband tried a bite and said they were "disgusting." Welp, there goes my plan of making him a falafel fan... lol Service was fine. They made it quick. It's a fast food type of ambiance. There are tables and chairs to eat there. I wouldn't come back though.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Everything tasted fresh, from the hummus, Steak plate and the chicken shawarma was amazing. The young man at the register welcomes you and checks in on you like family. Make sure to ask for the hot sauce for your shawarma it adds a nice sweet and spicy flavor that will have me coming back. Definitely a spot worth checking out

I don't know why some of the reviews for Mangal are meh, because this place is actually amazing. It's on the second floor of the Anaheim Packing House (right in the middle), and I'm so glad my boyfriend and I decided to try it today. I got the steak plate, and everything on it was sooo good. The steak was super flavorful, the rice was perfect, and the spicy hummus was incredible. The salad was fresh, lemony and made the whole plate feel really balanced. I also ordered a gyro wrap, and honestly, I could've eaten two. It was super tasty, and everything inside tasted really fresh. And of course we had to try baklava for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending -- flaky, crunchy, and not overly sugary. Overall, I was seriously impressed. The service was amazing, the food was amazing. The other reviews do not do this place justice. I'll definitely be back!

I just grabbed their drink along with tacos from another restaurant. It was a mint cucumber flavored drink I believe. It has been very refreshing! It amounted to $6-$7. The service was responsive and immediate. You can walk up to this place with ease :)

Overall, had a pretty decent meal at Mangal. The falafel was excellent and the sides that came with it were good but not great. Enjoyed it being in the Anaheim Packing House. The service was friendly but a bit pushy.

Loved Loved Loved. The guys at the front were all great service wise! They totally got me on the mint lemonade drink, ask for a sample if they don't already offer you one because damn that was delicious!!! We got the chicken shawarma wrap to share, It's big. and some baklava on the side with fries and mint lemonade. The chicken on the shawarma was a little on the dry side BUT when you get it in a wrap with all the fixings it was a perfect balance to the creamy and crunchy veggies inside that it added a different layer of texture that I absolutely enjoyed! The fries were standard and delicious with ketchup. Now. THE BAKLAVA. OMG. As someone who has had the good homemade stuff the one they sell here is AMAZING. It was so crispy yet sweet and nutty and had a perfect balance, where it wasn't too oily or too much of one ingredient. The crisp was crispy and the honey on it was so perfectly sweet. I plan to get a tray of these for my birthday this year! I will update y'all on that later when I do :) The meal was a bit pricy $35 for everything but not one bite went to waste. So to me that was worth it.

    gyro loaded fries
    Brian K.

Nice guys behind the counter and I really wanted to like the food more. I just couldn't. It wasn't terrible, but just seriously not worth the price. I got the gyro loaded fries and it was pretty pricey. Almost $20 after tax and just had a slew of issues. First problem is the size of the container for the fries. I get trying to use a small container, but it makes it hard to get the fries, meat and sauce at the same time without making a mess. If the container was bigger you could spread it out more. The sauce was a little too thick and it really just needed something brighter in that dish. It just felt extremely heavy and not a super dynamic flavor and I couldn't get through the whole thing. Some of the other dishes sounded good so maybe if I was in the mood I'd give it another shot with something else..

This is a very nice eaterie in the Anaheim Packing District on the upper floor. They have middle eastern food, however when the saw the Gyros listed, my eyes lit up. One of my favorite things to it. They actually have schwarma wraps, plates, etc., but they are very similar to the Greek gyros. I ordered the lamb/beef gyro plate which comes with the meat, rice, salad, and hummus, and my friend got the chicken schwarma wrap with fries. Both were very good and also large portions. The Packing District has lots of eateries, and this one is worth trying.

    Chicken Kebob Plate
    David P.

Ordered the Chicken Kebob Plate ($16.50), which includes pita, rice, hummus, and a salad. The kebob came with six chicken pieces, which were charred on the grill. I recommend them have a sauce to complement the chicken and rice because they were dry. The accompanying pita bread was thin, which I dipped in the hummus. The salad was bland despite sprinkles of seasoning; needed some sort of dressing. Seemed pricey especially with so many other choices in the packing district. Service was good and they provided small sample cups of strawberry lemonade.

Now I will be craving the delicious Aleppo hot sauce knowing I have to brave a nightmare parking lot. It's a teeny tiny parking lot with odd angles and bottlenecks with a surprising amount of restaurants sharing it. Makes zero sense. After circling three times I dropped my wife off and parked across the street risking getting towed. There's a ton of construction so hopefully more parking is on the way. That said, food is outstanding. Service was also perfection. Cuisine here is from Syria so there a lot of interesting dishes I haven't seen before. We started with deep fried spring rolls stuffed with akkawi cheese imported from Syria. Expensive but order it. I ordered the "khashkhash" kabob plate which was 4 grilled kefta kabobs served on a surprisingly spicy sauce of tomatoes and Aleppo peppers. It was served with a mound of buttery rice sprinkled with Aleppo peppers and a cabbage salad. Honestly the best kabops I've ever had. Absolutely loved the flavors. I devoured the whole plate while eyeing the parking lot across the street for tow trucks. Portion could easily be shared. My wife went with the Gyro flatbread. I scoffed saying "this isn't a Greek restaurant" but the joke was on me because I was envious. House made flat bread topped with gyro, tzatziki, pickled onions, tomatoes, feta, sumac, and Aleppo peppers. I took a few bites and retracted my previous scoff. They had a large list of mocktails. I had the Vimto Mojito and my wife had the margarita. Both creative and flavorful. Lastly I tried the "Ashta" for dessert. It's an Aleppo signature per the menu and is a pudding like dessert of clotted cream, pistachio, strawberries, and honey. It's simple yet satisfying. Took me a few bites to acquire the flavor but I loved it more with each bite. My wife didn't care for it. They moved by Angel Stadium from their Brookhurst spot. Great place except the parking. Reservations are odd too. $25 penalty PER PERSON if you miss your reservation. It was definitely motivation to find parking.

First off, whoever is back there assembling these wraps isn't just making food; they are practicing architectural geometry. Most spots toss your veggies in like they're launching confetti at a parade, leaving you with one bite of pure lettuce and another of pure existential dread. Not Kareem's. Every single bite is a masterclass in balance: vibrant, bright, colorful veggies that actually crunch, perfectly seasoned and juicy protein, and a sauce so ridiculously good I'm convinced it's strictly classified under international law. It's colorful, it's mouth-watering, and yes, I absolutely caught feelings. I am now in a committed relationship with a pita-wrapped masterpiece. And can we talk about the hummus? Every piece had that beautiful char from the grill -- the kind that makes you pause and appreciate how good simple food can be. The beef kabob was rich, smoky, and incredibly satisfying. Tender enough to cut with a fork, packed with warm spices, and grilled just right. My parents kept saying, "Wow, this is delicious," after every bite -- and honestly, same. The falafel plate was a total winner -- crispy on the outside, soft and herb‑packed on the inside.
