I really liked this because it wasn't too busy and I could still enjoy the other tasks I had to do throughout the day. It was great to start my Sunday at Asha and the start of my week! I experienced restoration of my well being through water and heat at Asha. The soak was nourishing and relaxing. This was my first cold plunge experience and I really enjoyed it. I felt awake after! The sauna was great. It was my first time doing that too. It was soothing and my skin felt so great after this whole experience. The customer service is great when you check in and out. I wasn't the only newbie and it was wonderful to have the kind staff tell us about what to expect with the lockers, changing rooms and showers. There's parking in the lot by the building and street parking. Check out this bathhouse for a relaxing vibe! I cannot wait to go back.

I wish I took pictures but I didn't. The shallow end starts at 3.5 ft and goes to 10.5 ft I believe. Everyone can go to 3.5 ft, but if you want to go to the deeper areas or diving board you have to do a test to earn a wristband. You swim (the short way) across the pool however you want, you just cannot touch the bottom of the pool. The pool is so clean and feels so fresh. My son I have a bet, we wonder how long it would take to fill up the entire pool with only one hose on full blast... What do you think?? The facilities are just OKAY - it is a large facility, it's is also older (our 82 year old Nonna has fond memories of using the diving board when she was a kid!) but it does the job. There is also a large very shallow pool area for toddlers and preschoolers!

So, a little cool-down was appreciated. They were super friendly and the price was ok. If only we had considered that a.) they have a lot of camp groups during the summer holidays and b.) there is virtually no shade in the entire area and especially in the afternoon, every single little shady spot was already taken. People who come here often know to bring their own umbrella (something that's officially allowed) and come earlier to get the spots they want. But even though we suffered a little, it was worth it. The facility is very nice and clean, has an awesome family changing area and my kid just adored the lazy river.

Adj: Good and Getting to Great, gratefully…read more Gym's been improving, nooks and crannies could still use more deep cleaning once a year at least, but the ledges are not so dusty anymore. I know those window sills, etc. are very hard to keep up as dust just descend and cake on pretty quickly, but I appreciate the efforts to keep those ledges at least partially clean. Staff remain cheerful and welcoming, and many of them are doing a lot more cleaning, dusting, emptying trash cans, refilling paper towels, sprays, and wipes, and some of them vacuum. It's all getting better and it seems more and more people are coming to this location, so the cleaning will need to be kept up. The swimming pool certainly is a big draw, people want to do their lap swimming and with no pool at the Pocket location, the Greenhaven branch becomes the default for this area, so I'm noticing more new members. Women's locker room look better now, no more overfilling feminine products disposal bins. Sometimes the floor is still wet, so maybe more mopping up every couple of hours or for a staff to check or even just leave a mop for members to mop up the wet floor is a good idea so people don't slip and fall, especially since this location has a lot more senior gym members who have been coming to this location back from when it was Greenhaven Racquet Club. Anyhow, sometimes the women's locker room is TOO cold, the AC is turned WAY high, and other times it's like completely off and stuffy, so maybe moderate that. Finally, lately the women's sauna was down, and it was fixed within a few days so that was good. Hope this gym branch will continue to improve as it is a pretty nice community here, the staff are friendlier here.

Both locations have limited weekend hours as they close early on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Since both locations in this area close early members have to go to another location out of the way to work out. Closing at 7 pm on a Sunday is too early. At least keep the hours consistent with some of the other locations. This location seems to be a little neglected. The nautilus equipment is old and needs to be serviced more often. The seat adjustments on some nautilus machines don't fully work and are worn out. There's also equipment that has been broken for quite some time and hasn't been repaired. Also the jacuzzi was also out of service for a while. But is back up and running . Members pay a good amount for their monthly dues and should have good working equipment. Members pay a little more for membership here than some of the competitors out there. Some of the cheaper gyms almost all the equipment is in working condition. Make-In-Shape-Great-Again!

She's professional and her communication is clear. Park Terrace has made some updates by painting the room, painting the bar, and fixing some of the ceiling tiles and it made all the difference. We provided our floor plan and when we arrived, the facility, including the bathrooms, were clean and the tables were placed as requested. There were plenty of garbage cans provided. The power strip in place by the bar was dead but plugged our devices directly into the wall outlet and everything worked. As guests arrived, 3 guests immediately asked what we paid to rent the facility as they were interested in renting. It was impressive.

The restrooms were barebones as the powdered soaps were filled and the paper towels were well-stocked. Adult swimming classes ran for two weeks and was $45.00. The city's Parks & Recreation Department now runs the pool and no longer offers adult classes. It's offered at McKinley Park. Southside Pool does $2.00 admission to the public on weekdays and customers can swim for as long as they want.

Then at the start of every hour there is adult only swim. Nice quiet time (in the pool) to swim laps without the splashing kids. At times it can get abit crowded and I have been hit more than once with a flying ball in the pool, but such are the aspects of a semi public pool. It is still better then spending thousands of dollars to lose my backyard and only use it maybe two months out of the year. The only true disappointment I ever have is when it is not hot enough to go swimming. I will continue to be a member for many years to come.

If an area is reserved you'll see signs up for the timing. When there are bigger events the parking nearby tends to fill up, but when there aren't events you can usually find plenty of free parking nearby. The park has a basketball court, baseball field, tennis courts, picnic tables, disc golf, a skate park, a nice playground and even a pool. There are paved paths and there are multiple areas that are great for entertaining groups, including a stage area. They pack a lot into a relatively small area and while there's a lot to do it won't take you long to walk around. While we were walking around a family was having a party and plenty of people were utilizing the different areas for sports. There were also some people walking their dogs, like us, but some people had their dogs off leash in some of the bigger areas. There wasn't a dog park area. it was beautiful while we were there and everything was clean and well kept.
