We celebrated an early Valentine's Day with dinner at Manger Restaurant and Wine Bar in Bayport and overall were very pleased. I loved the decor and it provided an upscale vibe in its small space. All the food was amazing which you can see photos of below, except for 1 dish, the Capunti Nero which was too salty in our opinions. There was also a great cocktail selection as well as a vast wine list. Besides the one dish of 4 that we didn't particularly love, the only other critique is that their menu online is not up to date so I would recommend if you go to make sure you check their Facebook page as they appear to post their current menu there.

Manger restaurant & wine bar in Bayport, MN recently celebrated their 5th anniversary and I just visited for the 1st time! In French, manger means "to eat" and that's just what I did. The food was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to return and try more of the menu. This time around I tried the strawberry and avocado salad, french onion soup, short rip agnolotti, and crème brûlée! The server and cooks were knowledgeable and so sweet! Visit Manger for an exceptional and delicious meal

What a cute little restaurant! The service was speedy, Mainly because it can only fit like 15-20 customers at most but that's the good part about it, makes it more intimate and the food was good! Flavorful but small portions for someone who likes to FEAST lol. I enjoyed it very much but make sure to order more than one plate if your going hangry. Would dine here again.

Eating at Manger was wonderful. We happened upon it when they had a wine tasting. We got to try every wine (sorry I do not remember the winery) and ended up buying a bottle. We had the frites and the mussels as dinner and the portions were perfect. Do request more bread to soak up the sauce! We visited on our anniversary and were asked by the server if we were celebrating anything. For our anniversary, Manger gave us all 3 desserts on their menu. They were absolutely delicious but I loved the honey pot de crème the most.

What a hidden gem! Wonderful French food and wine in a beautiful, quaint atmosphere! I was in heaven! Yum!

My husband and I just wrapped up a date night at Manger (our first time there) and it was A-MAZING. We went full boar - wine flights, cheese board, salad, entrees, dessert, and coffee. It was incredible. GET THE STEAK FRITES. And if you're going in the next couple weeks, the Beaujolais was to die for. Hidden gem status: unlocked. Great first experience - we will definitely be back!

Yummy food all made from scratch! The steaks are delicious, scallops tender, and the fries fantastic. Chef Mike takes pride in his creations, and the ambiance is warm. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant, highly recommend it! I had the lobster pasta which was perfect. It was very filling, not to heavy, the taste was great and lots of lobster in the dish. We will be back.

Went for dinner here tonight and have mixed feelings. We sat on the patio and it was a beautiful evening. Our waitress was exceptional and service was outstanding! The bread, salad, and fries were great in every way! We both ordered the wagywu tenderloin and although it was a beautiful cut of steak neither was cooked to what we had ordered. Mine was supposed to be medium and it was rare and my husbands was supposed to be well and was medium at best. I sent mine back and they fixed it but my husband just sucked it up and ate his since he was very hungry. Unfortunately when I am spending 40 bucks per steak and fries only I expect it to be cooked properly. Wanted to love this place since they got so much right but sadly can't give a better rating. May try again for lunch or a burger. Went back for lunch. Had the walleye sandwich and salad. It was delicious and I loved it! They did a great job this time.

The chairs are a little old and sticky , my body is particular and after 2 hours I was sore. The Waiter was not very friendly and did not seem to like his job. It makes such a difference when you're out celebrating and the server makes you feel unwelcome. It's part of the whole experience and part of what you paying for. Good food, mediocre experience all around . Id probably not come back. Perhaps id try the outdoor seating and give the Martini another go!

We first discovered San Pedro's from a "best patios" list in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, decided to try it for a date night, and we've been hooked ever since. It's always worth the drive across the border into Wisconsin for this gem! The jerk chicken nachos are our absolute FAVORITE--we order them every single time. They're perfectly layered so every bite has that cheesy, flavorful goodness instead of everything sitting on top. A newer obsession of ours is the street corn pizza. It's the perfect balance of sweet and heat and easily one of the most unique, delicious pizzas we've tried. The cocktails always deliver, especially the jalapeño blood orange margaritas and the mojitos. San Pedro's is absolutely worth the wait for a table--especially if you can snag a spot on the patio!
