Let me start by saying: this place is like my prayers have been heard. I love mango so much and specially the one Colombian style! They have several Mango Biche stands throughout the malls in Miami. When I was pregnant it was my number 1 craving but back then they didn't have this location so I kept finding excuses to go to Dadeland Mall to eat mango. I was thrilled when this location in International Mall opened since it is much closer to where I live. One serving is an entire greenish mango that they turn into spirals with a special machine they have. You can top it with whatever you like - salt, pepper, lemon, Leche condensada, that yummy red spice whose name I forgot etc. It is less than $10 and such a yummy snack. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you love the tropical fruit as much as I do!

Looking for a quick place to grab a bite with our dog. Found Pepito's, with outside seating…read more At first is a bit confusing, because it's connected to a gas station and a coffee shop, but park on the back and you will find the entrance. You go in, place your order, and wait to be called to pick up. They have speakers outside so you can grab a table while you wait. The menu is very latin, cachapas, arepas, chicharron, tacos, tostones... but they also have burgers and hotdogs. I had the Cheese Cachapa with chicken, and chicharron. The Chicharron was perfectly fried and, and the cachapa was delicious, especially with the nata sauce. Portions are generous so we had leftovers. Service is informal, don't expect a warm and friendly welcome, think more fast-food personality, but they get the job done. So, a great place for a quick stop with good food.

We were in Doral for the morning and had our dog along. With a bit of searching I found this place…read morethat looked like it had plenty of character, and good food. Pepito's. The outside area to eat was perfect. When we arrived we got a table in the shade and took turns watching the dog and going in to order lunch. I walked into a place that just was Doral. Or as the side of their delivery van said, "Doralzuela". It was a good think my Spanish is passable, ordering was all in Spanish. I got the special hotdog, and the arepa con queso. My gal got the chicharron and cachapa de queso y pollo. The latter was the overall winner. The cachapa was excellent, but so was the layered hotdog and the chicharron was exceptional. The price was great and the food was so good and so Miami, perfecto. This is a spot you wanna put on your must list.

Bites-On-Wheels is a small food truck/ food stand in the growing food truck community in Miami…read more What differentiates his food from the rest is that he sells ceviche, beef hot dog, and smoked sausage. He also makes, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and wraps. On first visit, which won't be my last, I tried the smoked sausage and the ceviche taco. The first thing I ate was the ceviche taco which was outstanding. The taco was big and it had fish, shrimp, with lettuces, onions, and topped with a mango habanero sauce. Hmmmm. It was really good. The ceviche itself was good. It was citrusy, sweet, and had big chunks of fish. The mango habanero took it over the top with a spicy kick. I am hooked on that and might just get a cup of ceviche by itself next time. When I ordered the sausage the cook asked me "if I was hungry?,'" as he took out the long, large smoked sausage and put it on the griddle while smirking. It smelled fantastic while i waited for my food. He put an NYC onion & tomato relish sauce with the sausage on the hoagie roll and topped it with potato sticks. There was a nice snap from casing of the sausage and a crunch from the potato sticks. The relish added a nice sweetness that contrasted the smokiness of the sausage. The sausage comes with a bag of chips and all for $4. What a great deal. The owner told me he will also serve dinner in the Shell Gas station on 117th and Kendall, where Ale House is, once he gets a generator to power his lights on his truck. I am a big fan and can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Come support Bites-On-Wheels. I'm sure you will enjoy the food.
