    Miga Sandwich
    Steve L.

Located on the corner of SW 17th Ave and 12th street is this Argentinian bakery that I have been hearing nothing but good things about. And it did not disappoint. I went in aiming for their empanadas but I left craving their Miga Sandwiches even more. In fact I ended up going back couple of days later to try all the remaining options of Miga Sandwiches. For empanadas, my top three were regular meat, sweet meat and chicken. In that order. But honestly their corn their spicy was also very good. The 3 cheese was good but I feel they put Bleu cheese and it over powers all other cheeses but if Bleu cheese is your jam then it's perfect. As for the Miga Sandwiches, they were all amazing. But if I had to choose one to try it would be the classic ham and cheese. The bread was so soft and the sandwich was so simple. It's probably the simplicity of it all that makes it so good. I also enjoyed the egg one and the olive one too which had a salty kick to it. The bakery itself is small and no tables inside. Only tables along the wall for standing and eating. So it's more of a grab and go kind of place. The staff is super friendly. My kid loved asking about every Argentinian candy they had and I heard their bread is also very good. They told me it takes a bit while the heat it up in the oven. So I'm sure it gonna be amazing for my next visit which I already can't wait. Definitely an instant regular for me and you should be too. Give Bariloche Gourmet and those Miga Sandwiches and Empanadas a try. Trust me.

A small spot. First time trying a sweet beef empanada. The medialuna has a light sweetness to it. Excellent service

1st time at this place. It's a really little nice Argentinian market , we went for coffee and desserts. There is a grab and go kind of place. Everything is fresh! We had coffee , alfajores and elephant ears, very tasty and delish!

    Ricotta tart Great!!!

For a little Argentinian place (more like a bakery) is a jewel: empanadas are excellent, I'd even found one that never tried somewhere else (corn empanada) and my favorite: the spinach one, my wife got the egg miga (someother places did not have) great quality of the food!!! Their staff are very friendly, patient . Ambiance is good , very cleaned place , hard to tell more about this because of the time of the week. It's always a pleasure to get food from there!!!

It has been several years since my first review. The staple standards continue to be of high quality, the espressos, cappuccinos have improved, likely due to better brand and quality of the machines but the baristas need to work a little more on their quality control.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a few things at Bariloche Gourmet and it was a truly delightful experience that transported me straight to Argentina! The customer service was impeccable from the moment we walked in--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. I ordered the cheese pizza, chicken empanadas and a few dessert items! Everything was delicious. Thank you again. We will be back.

Oh wow I'm loving this little Argentinian gem! First time I visited I picked up some dulce de leche stuffed merenguitos and alfajores and they were super light and not overly sweet. Next time I got the empanadas, sandwich de miga (crustless mini sandwiches) and croquetas for an office meeting. Everyone loved them! Their food is high quality and you can honestly taste the difference. Next time I'm trying their pizza and lasagna.

Great empanadas especially the sweet beef. They have all types of Argentine products. But you can't go wrong with the empanadas.

Here you will find several chocolate related desserts so we ordered the strawberries, chocolate bubble tea, and Ferrero Rocher shake. The Dubai strawberry was very good with large juicy fruits drenched in smooth melted chocolate. The cup also included a pistachio paste and kadayif giving it a good crispy texture. My only complaint was that the pistachio flavors were not as strong. The chocolate bubble tea was solid you can still taste milk tea taste. But the star of the meal was their Ferro Rocher shake smooth and nutty with a little Nutella drizzle. If you want some unique desserts pick up an order from Sweet and Sticky.

Azucar bills itself as the first homemade Cuban ice cream and I believe it. Get the Abuela Maria. It is their number one seller for a reason: guava, cream cheese, and Maria cookies folded together, and it tastes exactly like something a Cuban grandmother would make if she also happened to be a genius. Cafe con Leche and Mantecado round out the top three and neither disappoints. Real talk on the practical stuff. It is busy and the shop is small, so expect a line and expect to eat standing or perched on the window bench. Prices run about seven to eleven bucks a cup depending on size, but taxes are included in the sticker (rare and appreciated, no surprise math at the register). Cash and Apple Pay both work. Pro move: grab your cup, walk thirty seconds to Domino Park, and eat it watching the old timers slap dominoes. That combo is peak Little Havana. Five stars, would fly back to Miami for the Abuela Maria alone.
